Be warned--an outdoor July wedding at 4:30 in the afternoon is blazing hot. We opted for standing in the shade on a raised deck with a great view of the entire ceremony. This couple provided guests with fans that had the wedding program on one side and their picture on the other. Amidst a pandemic, I'm questioning the choice of fans. Indoors was air conditioned with seating and a bar on the main floor and upstairs. The second floor is a loft with a single row of tables and chairs looking down on main floor. Bartenders were friendly, some of the staff wore masks, some of the time. The air wasn't cooling the building and after a heavy thunderstorm, outside was cooler, so the doors were opened and a huge fan used to get some cross ventilation going. It was actually nicer outside among the tall trees. There's covered outdoor seating and a paved area where many guests hung out. With a DJ playing it was easier to visit and talk outdoors, perhaps safer too. When we returned to our vehicle at the end of the night, we discovered most people parked by us were stuck in mud and the owner was pulling us out with his truck. A little muddy, but no damage done to my SUV and an exciting finish to a fabulous event. AC not working well, overflow parking in what became a muddy mess were the only negatives. I imagine the deluge was atypical, but AC needs attention, not out of their control.

The staff was friendly and exceptionally accommodating. We had the Parmesan crusted chicken, corn casserole, pork loin with gravy, green beans with bacon, and the loaded mashed mashed potatoes. I get the feeling that this is a place that locals appreciate more than visitors and I hope that someone else gives it a better review to help bring up its rating. For what it's worth, they have a diner atmosphere on one side of the restaurant with booths and a bar, and a more formal dining room on the other side that would be ideal for special events or business lunches downtown. They seem to do most of their business during the breakfast and lunch hours as they are only open for dinner a few nights a week, and they take a lot of pride in their homemade desserts.

We ordered a side of pretzels for the table, they happened to be about two snack bags worth of Rold Gold. I normally don't give poor reviews, but this place earned it. Our server was pleasant and on her game but the food was severely lacking. The menu indicated Saratoga being in business for over 42 years. I have to assume they were simply off their game today or they should not expect to ever make it to 50.

One odd chair in the corner. No desk or surface to write or work on. NO coffee maker - but they did have a microwave and little fridge. The Breakfast was ....odd. No one was around, the breakfast set up was strange: empty and sparse. Dont show up hungry. Additionally there was no coffee. I should add I went to breakfast at 7 am - dead center of the breakfast hour. There are plenty of services around the hotel that travelers need - gas, food etc... This is the best choice in the area - but the off-season price (mid September) was $100. I could have stayed at a Hampton for that rate. I will say this its far better to stay here than in Terra Huate

Newly renovated building to two full suites. We were traveling as a family, with a 4 yr old and grandparents, and it was everything we needed. The finishings were gorgeous and brand new. The space is huge. Pullout couch was comfortable. Full kitchen, stocked with plates, cups, dish towels, soap, sponges, drying rack meant we didn't have to dine out every meal. For a large group, the two interconnecting suites was great, the kid could wander around, we could have family over to visit in one living room while the kid napped in the other, etc. So happy to have found it.
