Looking for a quick breakfast before heading into Gros Morne National Park. Thankfully, the times listed on Yelp were incorrect (winter hours are Thursday through Sunday, October through January, then closed through March, then reopen limited days until the summer season)! This is a charming little cafe on Main Street with a select menu of food offerings. I (and one son) had a delicious breakfast croissant with egg, cheese, and bacon while my wife (and daughter and other son) got the panini with egg, tomato, bacon, and yummy, drippy cheese. Paired with my London Fog, it's the perfect warm start on a breezy, drizzly day.

    Small coffee.

Had a nice coffee and chicken panini on our way to Norris Point. Hit them at a quiet time around 3pm, but it was still busy enough - front deck was full and folks where coming and going. Pottery/dishes were pretty as was the atmosphere. The ranch chicken panini was thoroughly heated and delicious.

Kale soup with some Pinot noir.

Charming neighborhood café. Friendly and efficient service with limited selection of pastries. They also serve wine and beer.

Ambience: Got a lot of seating area Food taste: Good…read morePrices: $15-20 per person Service: Sweet Food options: Huge variety Drawback: wait times My husband and I went here for dinner. I ordered veggie chili, which came with rice and tasted hot and good. Just what I needed after eating bread for multiple days. My husband got a veggie pizza, which was freshly made and good. For the next day's hike, we also ordered egg salad sandwiches, which were decent too. Mind you, because not many restaurants here have a variety of options like these guys, and they are open till late, they are jam-packed most of the time. Wait times are crazy. We had to wait close to an hour to get our food, and even paying the bill at the end took a while. The line was huge and draining. If time is not a problem, then this is the place to be. I would surely go back to eat here, as they have plenty of options even for vegetarians.

We were seated shortly after arrival. For dinner, we ordered cod tongue dinner, house salad, BLT sandwich and mozzarella sticks. The salad was just ordinary with nothing special out of expectations. We were provided with bagged salad sauce to mix ourselves. The BLT sandwich was good. My favourite was the mozzarella sticks and the cod tongue. The moz sticks were having the right level of breading. The cheese was still connected when you tried to bite through which implies the dish was cooked with perfect temperature. The cod tongue was not served with big portion but was flavourful. There's not much service throughout the dinner. You need to really get the server's attention coz they are so busy. Expect $40+ per person for dinner here.
