Such a unique store located in a vibe'n dot in Wesley Chapel. The Olive Tree is an experience of olive oil and vinegar tasting. The store Representative was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour and history of the store and how the vinegar and olive oils are produced, She also took us on a unique tasting journey. She combined some of the oils and vinegars together to create a complex tasting and recommended food pairings. If you've experienced a wine tasting you'll go bananas over this store. They also sell paseas, sauces a few other items to help create your own meal at home. The pictures I've provided will give you a perfect idea of the space. Yesterday I was in search of olive oil and balsamic vinegar combos to give as Christmas gifts. I decided to visit The Olive Tree after reading the great reviews. As soon as I walked into the shop I was greeted by a friendly staff member and was given a "tour" of the store. The store layout is divided by infused olive oils, extra-virgin olive oils, and white and dark balsamic vinegars, making it very easy to find your way around. As I was tasting the infused olive oils, store co-owner Donna greeted me to help me find a delicious flavor pairing. We ended up with the Wild Mushroom & Sage Olive Oil and the Cranberry Pear White Balsamic Vinegar. The Cranberry Pear was so delicious I purchased a bottle for myself. Some of the other balsamic vinegar flavors I tried were Sicilian Lemon, Lemongrass-Mint, Black Mission Fig, Blackberry Ginger, Red Apple, Lavender, Dark Chocolate, and Espresso and they were all so good! After selecting the pairings Donna boxed the bottles in a festive gift box and place them in gift bags. One less thing to worry about. While checking out I got to chatting with the other store co-owner, John, about how the world of olive oil is very similar to the world of wine. Olive oil comes from so many different regions in the world and each harvest tastes differently. When you find a bottle of olive oil you really enjoy, make sure to savor the flavor because you may never find that same exact taste again. I recently learned that olive oil can also offer many health benefits as well as excel the taste of your food as long as you're not consuming the rancid, refined oils that are found in most grocery stores, after reading the cookbook Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat. It's important to taste different kinds of olive oils to find what you really like. Due to lack of parking at neighboring store we parked in their parking spot. Within 30 seconds an employee came out and insisted we move. We tried to explain there was no parking available besides her two spots. I told her we would leave, but we would remember her hospitality. She immediately became enraged, cursing, threatening, and making absence hand gestures. She then stood behind my vehicle in an attempt to block us from leaving. It was absolutely surreal. When I spoke with her neighboring business about her they confirmed that she has been very aggressive with multiple people. read more

If you're a foodie/cook you will go crazy in here. There are at least 60 different oils and vinegars in here. You can taste any of them. Plus gourmet items like pasta, olives and seasonings. My can't live with out is Garlic, and oddly enough raspberry, you would be surprised all the things you can use the Raspberry on and it adds so much flavor. A Wesley Chapel GEM for sure! I stumbled across this store when they first opened and have been back several times ever since. The owner and staff have all been extremely knowledgable and kind which is a huge plus these days. They always make me feel like you would if you stopped in at a neighbor's house. Awesome hospitality. The quality of the olive oils and balsamics that they travel far and wide for are why I go back! They have a balsamic that is so smooth, you could drink it! Absolutely delish. Today was my first time in the store and I'm very new to the world of infused olive oils. Staff was very helpful. I left with great, personalized gift sets for family and tons of stuff for myself. Lots of local products and so much more than just olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They let you sample pretty much everything as well. WONDERFUL! A visit through this store is just about as enjoyable as going to an amusement park (even if you're not a cook --which I'm not). Tasting the different oils opened a whole new world for me. I LOVED the garlic oil, and since spaghetti is one of my few offerings, I couldn't believe the difference it made in my sauce. Take the time to browse. So, I did post a review on the facebook page of this company. All I said was that the service turned rude all of a sudden, and it never used to be that way. I was berated by the owner who confused me with someone else who apparently had a parking issue. She threatened to give my information to the police! I didn't go into detail in my review, which I guess I should have. Here was my issue: I walked into the store with my 5 year old granddaughter who is polite and knows not to touch anything. I was followed around by someone so close that it was uncomfortable. I assume she was afraid that my granddaughter would start picking up glass bottles and slamming them to the ground. It got so uncomfortable that I actually told her to back off, and I left. So my review simply stated that the staff has been rude lately. Immediately following posting my review, it was replied to with a long beating session about parking illegally, cameras, police, etc etc. I wasn't even parked anywhere near her store. I was parked in front of Umu where I was going to get my takeout from. Just in case anyone asks, yes i have a receipt from Umu. Anyway, I have since been in FB jail because she reported MY review as bullying!!! Incredible. Needless to say I won't be getting my balsamic from her anymore. I recently discovered this shop that does have a precious dog that greets you. The day I was there and the only customer in the store at the time, the owner was informative but seemed overwhelmed and short. I did not sample any products but as I read through a pamphlet, she gave me, I overheard her use the Lord's name, behind the counter and mutter discontentment in her employee(s). Giving her the benefit of a bad day, I purchased several bottles for gifts and one for myself to try. I returned another day to purchase a few more bottles, to give for gifts, and she wasn't in a better mood! She quite frankly was more rude and offensive! Upon requesting if my purchase could be put into two little organza bags, like previously, I was told, "well, I'll have to charge you for them, I don't give them away for free, they cost me money you know"! I told her I didn't know she charged me extra for it last time. So, feeling on the defense and on the spot to have to decipher and make a decision on how much more she's charging with the organza bag or without was unexpected. I opted for the bags and in an unfriendly manner was asked, "ok, what color do you want"? as she proceeded to her stash and opened up a new plastic mega package of them. This store owner is very rude and for this reason, I will take my business to another local place where it is welcome and that has been recommended by many. read more
