I absolutely love this produce stand. Not only do they have excellent prices on local fruits and veggies, they also offer a large variety of spices, Greek yummies to include stuffed grape leaves, fetas, dips etc. There's even a meat counter. I can't speak to the quality of the meats as I haven't tried them yet...but I will. It's a tight squeeze through some of the isles but totally worth the trip for me. read more

This is a cool little fruit and vegetable produce stand that also is a butcher and offers canned goods and pasta. There is quite a mix of items including some nice potted herbs outside in the fruit and veggie area! There is even frozen salmon and tuna for very reasonable prices! I visited at random on a Saturday and the place was quite happening! It seems the local Palm Harbor neighborhood shops here and why not!? The prices for meats and veggies were lower than most grocery stores! Plus, the employees were very helpful and friendly! Life is good with a local grocery! read more

They may have the best variety, quality, and prices for produce in all of Pinellas County. Their butcher counter is excellent too. Fancy cheeses and a few shelves of European dry goods are also on hand. You can easily leave here with all of the ingredients for a wonderful meal. On one trip, I got everything in my two photos for just $23. Take that Publix... My only complaint? During Covid times, why have the check-out inside in that very small back corner, where your customers wait elbow-to-elbow, packed like sardines? Rude employees. There are many other places to shop and this won't be one from now on. This is the second time I've had issues with this rinky dink fruit stand. First time was unsanitary conditions that I should have reported to the State. But you can't report RUDE people. Just don't shop there. read more

Excellent produce and great herbs (in the cooler outside). Inside there is a full butcher shop which I have yet to try but I have heard it's great too. But also, great varieties of Feta cheese, I like the Bulgarian, creamy and not dry like some commercial ones. There's sooooo much packed into this place, you really need to go there multiple times to take it all in, esp inside where the checkout is, you'll find great deals on berries. read more

This is a nice little produce stand in Palm Harbor that my friend introduced me to even though I am the one who lives in Palm Harbor! In addition to produce, they have plants, cheese and a small meat and seafood counter. I left with a basil plant for less than what I would pay for at the usual plant buying spots, a big hunk of feta and some produce. I'll add this to my list of places to visit regularly. read more

I loved the selection of produce and the meats looked really good, they also have potted herbs-yay!- and a great selection of fresh herbs in the cooler. Produce looked tired and picked over, but I went at the end of the day. Place is crowded with all kinds of stuff for sale and very inconveniently laid out (cash register is at the back of the store and you stand in the only, very tiny aisle with the shelves packed). Prices seemed really high for lower quality produce than we've seen in our local places. Some of it looked like it could be seconds. The person at the cash register looked to be in his 60's and could have been owner. Person in front of me asked what mascarpone cheese was and cashier didn't know. Cashier was gruff about it and made an ugly comment about the customer after he left, implying that the customer had ridiculous expectations that the customer would expect folks at the store to be familiar with what they sold. Missed opportunity! Cashier could have asked everyone in line if they knew and/or asked if someone would look it up (I had to wait several minutes to be waited on). As a bonus, if he was the owner, he could have picked up a package from the shelf, opened it and offered the customer and those in line a taste. Would have changed the situation to a major win! read more

My first time here I was like a kid in a candy shop. Quality pair priced fresh produce outside , but inside many authentic Greek products and treasures ! Feta , olives , breads & shelf stable imports. The butcher inside has a fantastic selection. We tried the stuffed chicken breasts ( they have 4 or 5 different types) that we took home and baked for dinner. Can't wait to go back for more. Absolutely awful experience. I'm a young mom in the area with two toddlers and we came in for some bananas, peppers, honeydew, okra, jicama and cabbage. They didn't have about 2/3 of our produce we were shopping for. The isles are very small and not conducive to two way traffic. When I came up to the register I had $4.61 worth of produce since they are out of most of the things we came for and when I told the older gentleman cashier he said it's a minimum of $5 I said OK sorry, never mind I don't have cash with me and then he ripped my credit card out of my hand. He was disgruntled but still going to make the sale. I am a true believer in supporting small business, but not at the extent in which I am disrespected. I said I didn't want the produce anymore and he said fine, then demanded the single banana back out of my 2 yr olds hand. I will never be returning to Steve's Produce. There's better and more produce can be found all around the area. read more

Great selection of fruits, veggies, meats, cheese, and baked goods. Everything is priced pretty reasonably- most of the fruits and veggies were the same price or cheaper than what you would get at publix. And I'd rather support local and get fresh food. The meat selection is great- lots of options. They have a good selection of pre seasoned and plain meat. The best deal is four filets wrapped in bacon- so delicious! Cashier was kinda cold and unwelcoming. The set up makes it awkward and uncomfortable. Carrying out baskets with little to no room to stand.Should rethink this! read more

I found this Produce place by accident. I was in Palm Harbor for something else. It is a great place for produce and meats and other hard goods. A must stop and even a great place to go to for a drive, The staff are wonderful and trust me you will NOT be disappointed. Freshness is their game. My friend brought some chicken sausage to a dinner party, it was so delicious everybody was asking where she got it, so we all ended up visiting this place with her. It's amazing how much stuff they have in this unassuming shack-like building. The produce is on the outside. While a few veggies looked like they were on their last leg, some are good quality at a great price, like a box of blackberry for $1. Inside is a miniature international market, or a baby of Whole Foods + ethnic grocery. They have escargot, home made hummus, key lime pie, snacks, sauces and canned foods from around the world. Like a whole line of vinegar including a 20 year old balsamic, vegetarian oyster sauce, sambal oelek. The cheese case has a bunch of cheeses all thrown together, but there are goat brie and other fancier cheeses. My friend was thrilled to find some stuff she thought she won't be able to get unless she makes a trip to Tampa. read more

The service at this location is terrible. There's slender guy with dark hair that works behind the meat counter that glares at people. I asked for a box and he told me to "dig in the trash out back." This place is pretty legit. Steve's is far more than a produce store. It's actually more like an Italian market and deli that just happens to sell produce. Pasta sauces, pasta, frozen ravioli, house-made sausages, rack of lamb, cheeses, burpless cukes, "chicken mignon," Boar's Head provisions, you name it! I was overwhelmed, actually. I had to stay focused though. I was on a mission... find Cee Bee's Citrus brand OJ, and boom--they had it! I am glad too because I had just biked 3 miles up the trail to get to this place.
