Had lunch with my mom after not living here for the last four years and its still great. Tampa, unlike Austin TX, has a few Greek places you have your pick of but this location was so nice. A great welcome when you come through the door and excellent service. I wanted to try a few things and the young lady taking my order helped me figure out how to do a falafel plate with a change of sides and a side of fries, so thank you girl. The music was lovely and Greek and it gets pretty loud between the music, cooks in the kitchen and filled tables but if you are dining in you just take your number and they bring your food out to you. Some folks even came by and offered to get us drinks, clear the table and check on us which was unexpected and welcomed. This is always a good place to go, even after being in Austin for the last four years.

The hungry greek was on my list from long time to have greek food. So for Friday dinner I took a opportunity to have greek food from the hungry greek. After browsing the menu online, I gave a call to the hungry greek ordering Falafel Hungry Pita and Falafel Caesar Salad. The order was ready in 15 minutes and I picked up the order from restaurant. I first had Falafel Hungry Pita which was fulfilling with pita and all the necessary ingredients. The pita was delicious and tasty. Then we had Falafel Caesar Salad which was amazing and delicious with sauces and fulfilling ingredients . Amazing and delicious food from the Hungry Greek to have.

The food is always outstanding and prepared fresh. The Greek salad is paired with the best potato salad ever made! The service moved as quickly as possible, but expect 15-20 minutes if you order during rush hour. I highly recommend ordering ahead online.

When I think of fast food Greek cuisine in Wesley Chapel/New Tampa without compromising freshness, flavor and finance, I think of The Hungry Greek. I got introduced to this location this year (2022) and it's definitely my go-to when I'm looking for quick service, fresh food, great flavor and great portions for a reasonable price. I have had a few hit and misses with the temperature of my beef (which I told the owner) but it still hasn't stopped me from patronizing because it's healthy, it tastes good, they have one of the better side Greek salads and not eye-gouging in price. See photos!

Customer service was good, food was good too, not the best but it was ok. I would go back.

We have to download and register with an app just to order online. It doesn't connect to Apple Pay or google pay. Food is satisfactory.

Been wanting to try this spot for quite some time so decided to finally go for it…read more I ordered a mixed bowl with chicken and steak for my hubby and a shrimp bowl for myself. Honestly, I don't agree with the reviews here. I think it was honestly very plain, mostly rice, and bland. Our bowls were pretty boring and basic and unfortunately wouldn't go back. I always say you win some, you lose some. The owner/chef cooking was extremely nice and they do have a few outside tables.

Authentic Cuisine #61, Moroccan Cuisine…read more We have been to Morocco and find this place is close to the cuisine we have tasted in Morocco. I like the Tanger sauce they have put over the rice. The use of spice is very similar. It is definitely a recommended restaurant to visit. The few things that I would comment on the restaurant. 1. Employees should use mask during pandemic. 2. Serve real plate instead of styrofoam box for the food if customers dine in. Other than that, they are great restaurant and good service to the local. We order two plate from chef special. The first dish is the Le Carnivore. This is the grilled skew steak and chicken. The steak was process and good tender. The chicken has the marinated spice into the meat. The hummus is like soft like the silk. They must take time grind and prepare this hummus. The Morocco shlada or "salad" is well prepared. Love it. Our second dish is the mermaid. This is grilled salmon and skew shrimp. This seafood combo dish. The shrimp is large and the fish is good. Our appetizer is one of the best falafel. The coating is fried to crispy. The inside is still green. Similar to the falafel in Morocco. The spice in falafel is very flavorful. Don't forget to order this appetizer.

After I finished my deliveries, I swung back, and she delivered !! she promised the best Long Island iced tea, and she didn't just meet expectations, she knocked it out of the park. Beyond the drink, Kendra was an outstanding host friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. For food, I ordered a burger, fries, and a cheeseburger, and they were off the chain. Everything tasted fresh and cooked to perfection, making the whole experience that much better. Kendra and this location deserve kudos. The restaurant was clean and there's an outdoor area to smoke hookah as well. Our server was so sweet and we absolutely adored her! The food did take a while on the wait but the portions were pretty huge for the prices. We had the following: Appetizer sampler (hummus, tirosalata, tzatziki, and baba ghanouj. served with fresh pita) - 8/10 - this was so fresh and delicious! All the dips were made fresh and covered in olive oil. The pita was baked fresh and went so well with the dips! The sizes of the dips were massive and we had plenty to take back to our hotel. It took me back to Greece and it made me super happy. I love eggplant and the baba ghanouj was smokey, creamy, and so much eggplant flavor. There was a dip that I haven't tried yet called tirosalata and it's made with feta cheese and garlic and topped with oregano and olive oil. That was probably my second favorite dip next to to the baba ghanouj. It was tangy and enjoyable on the palate. The hummus and tzatziki dips were also hits and we enjoyed every single bite. We had some leftover and the sweet waitress gave us some extra fresh pita bread to take home. Castoria chicken salad - 8/10 - my friend had this and really enjoyed it. It had lettuce, jalapeno, grilled chicken, cucumber, tomato, onion, and avocado in a garlic aioli dressing topped with cheese and pita chips. She said it was one of the better salads she's had and was super fresh. the portion size was huge and she had plenty to take back to enjoy later. I tried some of her salad and I agree, it was delicious. Greek Souvalki wrap - 7/10 - my husband had this with the Greek fries and he seemed to like it. It was good, but he said he's had better ones. The pork tenderloin was tender and flavorful and he enjoyed the fries (had feta cheese on them). The fries were fried perfectly, golden brown with a satisfying crunch to them. The feta cheese crumbles on top were an excellent addition to the hot fries as it melted onto them. Overall, we would come back again if we're in the area. The prices were pretty decent for the portion sizes. The only slight complaint was that the food took a while and we were getting tired as it was getting pretty late. Nonetheless, even though it's a chain, the food was decent and good.
