The spa has a great "spa" feel to it. They have a "quiet" room they take you to before your service, which I agree with some other reviewers is not always actually quiet. The relaxing music you get at every spa is played over the loudspeaker and is often a smidge too loud. But, the quiet room offers water and snacks - along with staff offering a drink as they lead you to the room. If you're going in for a massage or facial, you'll be taken to the bathroom/locker room where you can change to your comfort level and are able to lock your belongings during your service. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The esthetician who does my facials and eyebrows (Alma) is warm and friendly. One weekend, I completely forgot about my appointment and Alma told the front desk to call me, because "it didn't sound like me to forget." They offered a later appointment for me and didn't seem annoyed at all. For those of us who know we'll keep coming back, Woodhouse offers a membership whereby you get discounted services and products. If you go as often as I do, the membership will pay for itself shortly.

Once I realized, I stopped him, it was the first coat. He said that's the color. I explained that it's not either of the colors and I wanted to see between the 2. He gave me a hard time and brought all the books EXCEPT the one I originally chose from. I gave up and just said it's fine, just finish the color you're doing. He finished, only did 3 coats, and 1 top coat. Got up, said, "you're done" and walked away. No fans, nothing. Didn't help me out of the chair or assist in putting my slippers on. I'm sitting in the salon as I write this with a $62 regular polish wet pedicure as he talks shit a few chairs down to his coworkers. Todays my birthday. I'm not a confrontational person. Been doing my nails religiously since I was 23. What started off as a relaxing birthday treat has turned into a sour experience.
