This place is very unprofessional and unorganized, three separate people asked about my nails before someone actually did my pedicure and when the guy finally did he didn't fully soak my nail off and then continued to try and proceed with putting product on to try and make it even up until I told him something when I did he walked off to another client and had two other technicians come finish.. there for I was left with half the work he did and the other guy did and they both used different white polishes

I love Lena's Nail Spa! They know their stuff. I have been to many nail salons and by far these guys are the BEST! Love my nails and how the are meticulous with the work! Thank you Linda and the gentleman whom I didn't ask his name.

I was visiting the area and needed my nails done. I looked at the reviews and chose Lena's Nail Spa. This was on Sunday afternoon. I paid $100 for a mani and pedi. My pedi was done in shellac and my mani in dip. Kayla did my my nails and she was rather rude. I could sense she wasn't having a great day so I didn't engage in conversation. The way my nails are done was a completely different technique than what I'm use to. It's now Thursday 4 days after my manicure and my nails are chipping.

Got nails done on 10/02/22, and this is what they look like today. Would really appreciate a do over the next time I come in. Please respond...

I have been going here since 2018. Everytime my nails look amazing. The only issue is that it is a hit or miss with which nail tech you get. Some are really rough. The last two times I went the person I had was super rough, and when cutting my cuticle I bled a little. I always make a point to tip 20% always, but that was the first time I took it down to 10%. They're nice and will fix your nail for free if you mess it up. All in all a good place, but I wish they had more of a range of shades for SNS. If you have a good nail tech, it's definitely worth the price. I normally get SNS with tips and a manicure. Normally costs me close to $55 with tip for the technician.

(Gel manicure - $30) Loved how it turned out!

My sister and I really wanted to get our nails done together while I was in town visiting. We found this place nearby and decided to check it out. We walked in, without an appointment, and they were able to seat us right away, each for a gel manicure. They brought us waters and gave us some time to decide on which color(s) we wanted. We loved how cute and fancy the interior was. Everything looked so high-end, it really felt like we were in a spa! Both of our nail techs were friendly and accommodating. About halfway through my gel manicure, I noticed how light the glitter was on my accent nail (ring finger). It wasn't quite what I was looking for, as I could see my nail underneath and there wasn't much of an actual color. My nail tech immediately addressed my concerns and offered to use a different glitter instead that would cover the nail more. I appreciated how quick he was to help and that he didn't give me any grief about it. That made me really happy and I felt so much more at ease. The new glitter was perfect and I loved how it turned out. My gel manicure came out to $30 and for my sister's french tip gel manicure, it was $35. The quality of the polish is great - two weeks out and I still don't have any chips or peeling. They have a rewards program which I think is awesome - I wish my nail place at home did that! All in all, a great nail place. Would definitely visit again if I'm ever back in Corpus!

I went to get a shellac fill with my girlfriends. As soon as we get there, we were seated so there was no wait. A friendly and clean environment. The guy who did my nails (didn't get his name) was super friendly and very tentative. They charge for everything: $5 for shape, $3 for matte, etc. Not to mention, prices are steep end up paying $45 before the tip... for shellac and coffin shape. After the second day of getting my nails done, my thumb started to chip despite it being shellac. I decided to call and let them know that this shouldn't happen because its shellac. This type of polish should last at least 2-3 weeks without chipping, let alone 2 days later. They told me to come back and they would repaint them, but I probably won't be going back.

Solid choice in CC. Had good experience, however be prepared to speak up and explain what exactly you want. Dont be an asshole - polite but firm works ;) They do good job but they can't read your mind :) my shellac mani lasts 3 weeks which I'm pretty happy about. It's CLEAN. Well kept and maintained. There's a reward/loyalty program in place - sweet! They have complimentary drinks but most of the time you do need to ask. Which is fine - just ask :) Pedicures are OK, massage part could be improved but oh well - you can't have it all. I'd love to see name tags so customers aren't forced to call employees 'hey you' :) Prices are about the same as competitors. It seems to get pretty busy and a little chaotic during the weekend so I'd recommend going on weekdays or getting an appointment - which...it would be kinda convenient to have online booking system in place.

Hello, I am new to corpus area and happened to run into this place. I needed to get acrylic nails removed and eyebrows done. I went in and got eyebrows and it was great- not so much when she was removing my acrylics. She ripped my natural nail off and made it bleed- was in a rush to get me done. Now my thumb nail is severely damaged. In pain. This nail salon feels very rushed.

One-star nightmare with Nina the "nail tech." Went in…read moreexpecting a basic fill and shape. What we got was amateur hour that shouldn't be charged for, let alone defended. Lena left zero apex on one nail -- completely flat and weak. On the rest she didn't pack the acrylic into the sidewalls properly, leaving obvious pits along the sides. Basic technique she either never learned or simply doesn't bother to get right. To top it off, she was about to slap the top coat on without even cleaning the dust off the nails first. My wife calmly pointed out the problems and asked her to fix them. Lena's response? She started crying. Not because the work was bad -- because someone expected her to correct her own mistakes. Then the tech next to her jumped in with the classic line: "It's your fault she's crying. You made her cry." No. The crying happened because Lena cannot perform the basic steps of the job she is being paid to do and collapses the second a client asks her to fix the damage she caused. That's not "mean clients." That's an inexperienced tech who shouldn't be touching clients' nails until she can build an apex, fill the sidewalls correctly, and remember to remove dust before top coat. $90 that should've been $0 after this experience. Save your money and your nails. Skip Nina and skip Ambient Nails.

We where then quickly asked to pick a color. Right away I noticed there weren't many employees . We were then asked to sit at the spa chairs. I had to sit idly at a chair while the male employee took care of my mother-in-Law. He wasn't very gentle with her but she didn't mind as it was her first pedicure of her life. A woman arrived about 15 min in to the shop. She was coughing some so she might have been called in? Who knows. The problem here is that the reason most places have patrons make an appointment is so they anticipate and make arrangements. So my mother in law was done first and was then taken to the side tables for a manicure. I won't go into the details of my manicure ... I finished after my mother in law and waited about 15-20 min for it to dry. By the time I arrived home one nail was messed up. By the time I was 10- min settled at home, two more nails where messed up. Needles to say that I unpolished them. I will not come back here and I hope that they do improve their business. I will say that for the woman who know what they want and have all the nail jargon down, it seems like they attend them well. Maybe it's because it's more expensive and prioritized? Hope this was helpful.
