Experience started off well. To start, decided to treat myself for my birthday. Only 2 other people in the salon when I got here. Excellent speedy service from the beginning. They did try to sell me on an upgrade, but that's a given at nail salons. I got the organic pedicure which is one of their higher ones. Great experience until the gentlemen began painting my toes. Mind you I was reading my book, so shame on me for not paying attention. But he used a color I didn't pick. I had specifically explained I wanted to see between 2 colors to match my fingernails. Once I realized, I stopped him, it was the first coat. He said that's the color. I explained that it's not either of the colors and I wanted to see between the 2. He gave me a hard time and brought all the books EXCEPT the one I originally chose from. I gave up and just said it's fine, just finish the color you're doing. He finished, only did 3 coats, and 1 top coat. Got up, said, "you're done" and walked away. No fans, nothing. Didn't help me out of the chair or assist in putting my slippers on. I'm sitting in the salon as I write this with a $62 regular polish wet pedicure as he talks shit a few chairs down to his coworkers. Todays my birthday. I'm not a confrontational person. Been doing my nails religiously since I was 23. What started off as a relaxing birthday treat has turned into a sour experience. read more

This place is AMAZING!!! Not only did they quickly accommodate my sister and I for pedicures. They happily did a mani/pedi for my 3 year old niece. Jimmy was so great with her. Patient, fun, kind. I was visiting the area and needed my nails done. I looked at the reviews and chose Lena's Nail Spa. This was on Sunday afternoon. I paid $100 for a mani and pedi. My pedi was done in shellac and my mani in dip. Kayla did my my nails and she was rather rude. I could sense she wasn't having a great day so I didn't engage in conversation. I have been going here since 2018. Everytime my nails look amazing. The only issue is that it is a hit or miss with which nail tech you get. Some are really rough. The last two times I went the person I had was super rough, and when cutting my cuticle I bled a little. I always make a point to tip 20% always, but that was the first time I took it down to 10%. They're nice and will fix your nail for free if you mess it up. All in all a good place, but I wish they had more of a range of shades for SNS. If you have a good nail tech, it's definitely worth the price. I normally get SNS with tips and a manicure. Normally costs me close to $55 with tip for the technician. read more

My sister and I really wanted to get our nails done together while I was in town visiting. We found this place nearby and decided to check it out. We walked in, without an appointment, and they were able to seat us right away, each for a gel manicure. They brought us waters and gave us some time to decide on which color(s) we wanted. We loved how cute and fancy the interior was. Everything looked so high-end, it really felt like we were in a spa! Both of our nail techs were friendly and accommodating. About halfway through my gel manicure, I noticed how light the glitter was on my accent nail (ring finger). It wasn't quite what I was looking for, as I could see my nail underneath and there wasn't much of an actual color. My nail tech immediately addressed my concerns and offered to use a different glitter instead that would cover the nail more. I appreciated how quick he was to help and that he didn't give me any grief about it. That made me really happy and I felt so much more at ease. The new glitter was perfect and I loved how it turned out. My gel manicure came out to $30 and for my sister's french tip gel manicure, it was $35. The quality of the polish is great - two weeks out and I still don't have any chips or peeling. They have a rewards program which I think is awesome - I wish my nail place at home did that! All in all, a great nail place. Would definitely visit again if I'm ever back in Corpus! read more

I went to get a shellac fill with my girlfriends. As soon as we get there, we were seated so there was no wait. A friendly and clean environment. The guy who did my nails (didn't get his name) was super friendly and very tentative. They charge for everything: $5 for shape, $3 for matte, etc. Not to mention, prices are steep end up paying $45 before the tip... for shellac and coffin shape. After the second day of getting my nails done, my thumb started to chip despite it being shellac. I decided to call and let them know that this shouldn't happen because its shellac. This type of polish should last at least 2-3 weeks without chipping, let alone 2 days later. They told me to come back and they would repaint them, but I probably won't be going back. read more

Dont be an asshole - polite but firm works ;) They do good job but they can't read your mind :) my shellac mani lasts 3 weeks which I'm pretty happy about. It's CLEAN. Well kept and maintained. There's a reward/loyalty program in place - sweet! They have complimentary drinks but most of the time you do need to ask. Which is fine - just ask :) Pedicures are OK, massage part could be improved but oh well - you can't have it all. I'd love to see name tags so customers aren't forced to call employees 'hey you' :) Prices are about the same as competitors. It seems to get pretty busy and a little chaotic during the weekend so I'd recommend going on weekdays or getting an appointment - which...it would be kinda convenient to have online booking system in place. read more

He was very rough, was not friendly at all, was on his phone most of the time while doing my nails, cut the cuticles so rough I almost bled,pushed my hand in the nail dryer, did not say one word to me, did not offer me anything to drink (while other guests had drinks and snacks) and it was not busy so there was no need to rush. I went in and got eyebrows and it was great- not so much when she was removing my acrylics. She ripped my natural nail off and made it bleed- was in a rush to get me done. Jimmy worked really well with my daughter. He had several strategies he used to help her sit still. And she was so happy the entire time. I have gone to Lena's off and on for the past several years but I am officialy done. I have had several bad experiences but I kept going back. I will never go back after this last experience. I got the SNS on my real nails and the same night , one of the nails popped off. I went back(very inconvenient) that same evening as I was leaving town for the weekend the next day. they replaced the one nail. Fast forward to Monday and another nail popped off and several others were already "lifting". I went in and they replaced only the one that had popped off and basically ignored the fact that several others were lifting. When I got home another one popped off. This is all after only 4 days!! The salon was beautiful and calming but my only complaint was that I'd picked this place because their website had beautiful designs but when I showed the technician a picture of what I wanted he said "no. That's too much" which was kind of odd. Went in with a friend to get pedicure. Very busy place and lots of employees. They asked me which pedicure I wanted from the menu, I selected basic $24. Well basic I got, they didn't do any nail cleaning (and I get pedicures every 3 weeks from my regular salon) so there was not an issue with bad feet or nails. They asked me for my polish choice about 5 times which was a light pink I selected in gel, no shellac. After the 5th or 6th time I finally conceeded OK Shellac. So they used the pink shellac. Well when I went to check out from my regular no frills pedicure which they didn't even trim my nails it was $41... $17 for shellac! What a rip off! I did leave a $5 tip as a courtesy and probably shouldn't have. Will never be back. Will stick with my regular salon who charges me $33 for exactly the same thing. read more

I'm here now. I called ahead to request to get placed on the waiting list. I was told there was no waiting. I arrived and told them I needed a mani/pedi. I was told to pick my nail color. The Hispanic girl with the heart tattoos on her hand told me to sit in chair 9. She didn't didn't smile or offer me anything to drink she filled the pedi chair tub with water that wasn't warmed to my satisfaction. A few minutes later Amy surfaces. She was the game changer for the entire experience. She did a great job on my mani and pedi. If not for Amy, I would rate this a poor overall experience. That Hispanic gal needs to be fired because she spends more time on her personal cell phone than she does paying attention to the customers or doing what she is told by the nail technicians. read more

I had such a great first experience. Moving here to Corpus just one week ago, I was nervous. I'm glad I found a place that is professional, clean and with friendly staff. I walked in 30 minutes before closing. I was still treated very well and not rushed. Alex did an amazing gel manicure on my hands. Perfect and took her time to make sure it looked great. This is by far my favorite place in corpus and I've tried many nail salons to make sure. They are very efficient and almost always do a great job. I did however get an ingrown nail and one point and when I asked the nail tech she pretty much ignored me and didn't help to get it out. My sister actually dug it out with a knife which was pretty painful. I had to let it heal a few months which is why I only give 4 stars. I wasn't able to have my nails done in the process of healing which is very difficult because I actually use my nails for my job as an orthodontic assistant to help push in wires. The SNS is very strong and has held up the longest over anything else. I am very active and rough with my nails and they will last at least 2 weeks. This place is also very clean and sterile. They also serve water and wine. They may have soda too but I have never asked for that. The team is very friendly. All in all I love this place and my nails are doing great again. I have been going for a few years now and they have started a rewards program which is really great. Every now and then you will get $15 off your service once you spend a certain amount. read more

I love to get pedicures and have been recently obsessed with Shellac manicures. The place is very clean, the tools were disinfected and in sealed packages. My fiancé and I were both getting pedicures. He opted for the top of the line which cost $40. It included massage, scrub, hot towel wrap, hot stone massage, and of course the actual pedicure. He loves a good foot rub and he said that they did an amazing job. I just really like his new tamed toenails! I got a lesser tier pedicure and it was still fantastic. The foot rub was amazing and the actual pedicure was great! My toes left looking happy in a bright fuchsia. I also got a shellac manicure and it is one of the best I've ever had done. They even did two different colors without up charging me for not using one color like other places I've gone to have. Wait time was a little longer than I like, but it was a Sunday before Memorial Day and they had all the staff members working. The lady doing my nails said it was busier on that Sunday than most Saturdays had been. I'm assuming people were wanting to make sure their toes and nails are presentable for sandal weather. I gave it 5/5 because they did a fantastic job and the price while not the cheapest was far from what places in Houston would have charged me for the same services. Well worth the money!! read more

Was disappointed by rushed sloppy service. I scheduled an appointment and asked to have the mani and pedicure at the same time due to time constrains. Got a kiddo at home and already guilty conscience of leaving her for a little self care. I asked for a good tech for sns powder and instead got a girl who was rushing me to squeeze another customer in. I also wasnt told that if you get the sns powder there in NO MANICURE!! I was shocked to find out that after a very mediocre job and a tech who did not do a good job they ASKED for 50$!!! And after I said there was no manicure as basic remove dead skin around the nail, clean the nail, trim the cuticle, I was told that it is an ADDITIONAL FEE!!! The price is outrage. Get the shellac that comes with manicure, not doing this again. And probably will think twice about going there again. read more

I wasn't quite sure how to write this. Everybody was very polite, I like that the liners were in the pedicure area, and my nails look beautiful. BUT The following day after my manicure I noticed one of my fingers was swollen on the side where my cuticle is. A couple of days after that, I noticed there was pus coming out of that area. I brought it to my husband's attention and he said his was too and showed me his finger that was doing the same thing. He then showed me his foot, and there was a large red pus knot on the side of his foot where they scraped it during the pedicure. This was my first time to the salon and my husband's first mani/pedi ever so I don't think we will be returning to this salon. read more

Wow! Very impressed with this nail salon. I came in on a Sunday at 11:30. They said it would be about 30-45 mins and there were 4 people in front of me. So I wrote down my name and they said they would call. I left but came back before they called. I waited about 15 more minutes so about 45-50 mins all together. I think I came in when they first opened and a lot if people came in at the same time. The atmosphere was very nice and up to date and most importantly clean. There were clean liners in the pedicure foot bath and I saw them clean the bath after each customer and put in a fresh liner. They also used sterilized tools. Which I think is important but have not seen much at other salons around town. Anyway she did a great job on my pedicure and after words did an amazing job on my shellac manicure. I have only had a shellac manicure one time at another place and it was not the best. It stayed on but it was lumpy and uneven. This manicure is smooth and consistent, I love it. Absolutely loved this place. There is 3 levels of pedicures and I got the lowest and most inexpensive one. The pedicure lasted about 30 min, it came with 2 different kinds of scrubs, one of which smelled awesome. And a warm towel wrap and an awesome massage. One thing I liked and appreciated was each bowl had a clear liner that they throw away after each pedicure and put a new one in. Nice!
