I am so very grateful for the friend that suggested this company. We have tried a few companies and people for extended time from a few visits to a year and just hadn't found the right fit until The Organic Maids. I do make sure to communicate and set them up for success about items or communicate if I would like something done differently. This is done through Sandra and then communicated to the person helping. This really takes the awkwardness out of doing it. Things happen that is life but it is about how it is handled and Sandra and her team are like Olympians at that. We started out with an every other week cleaning. Really liked them team and moved into a 3x a week customized housekeeping service. There is a service called a la maid which is wonderful if you need more than just a basic house cleaning but less than hiring someone full time (which then you have to deal with a lot more effort to find and handle domestic staffing salary etc.) Having them come in half a day 3x a week is AMAZING! I have actual time to get done all of these projects that I have not been able to for years. Turns out I wasn't lazy or uncapable we just needed more help. With Adis and Alison helping, I can actually be properly rested, care for our family, tackle project and I have way more time too for my consulting business which is awesome. What really sets this company apart from others we have tried is that the housekeepers really care about doing a thorough job. They also are all just incredibly lovely humans. It can be weird to have someone in your house with their energy etc. but I genuinely have felt at ease with the 3 women who have helped us regularly. For the a la maid service I have created a day, visit and random one off items I need help with and share with Sandra. It has been going really well. They have helped from organizing linens in our guest closet to doing a deep clean of just one room, loading and unloading dishwasher, open and breaking down boxes, folding clothing, helping with laundry, taking everything out of a closet and cleaning them placing back in. Removing items from kitchen drawers, vacuum and wipe down the drawers then reorganize. We have had items for donation drives etc. in the house and just ask them to clean around and they do which is lovely. They just are so very sweet and kind hearted. They will roll up blankets, arrange toys and organize our dog's beds. When one of our pups had to be laid to rest recently they have been so kind and understanding about me wanting to leave her items in place. I genuinely get excited to see how they will organize, fold or do. Throughout the week I discover new ways they folded the top tissue, organized blankets, arrangement of plushies and blankets on the pup's beds. It is such a delight and joy that is brought to my week! These little details is what sets them far above and apart in my opinion. There is just a feeling and kind compassion that Sandra, Adis and Alison bring to their work and our home. I find it to sometimes be super awkward to have someone in our home and working around but that is not a feeling I have ever had with any of our regular cleaners or Sandra. Which to me says a lot about who they are and the team they have built. There was one person who was just not a fit and I politely communicated that with Sandra. That can be so awkward to do but Sandra was great it was just a really chill process for something that is a bit awkward to say. A person who was helping us left too and Sandra totally hit the nail on the head with placing the 2 ladies who help us now 3 days a week. I could not recommend them highly enough and would hire them in a heartbeat for any family that lived in the area. They bring compassion and kindness to their work. read more

We've been having monthly visits for the last 4 months, and it just gets better and better. Kenia does an excellent job every time she visits our home. She's kind and incredibly thorough. She was incredibly patient with our dogs when one day we had to keep them home during a cleaning (our little one is terrified of everything. She basically followed Kenia around the house and barked at her the whole time - we felt terrible). With two dogs and us expecting our first child in a few months, it was important to us to use a company that focuses on organic products. I used Organic Maids for a series of months. Every time I would get a different professional to clean to see if the skills and cleaning techniques were similar to each other (I was hopeful that the next professional would be better than the prior one). I was very disappointed. I had two good professionals but the rest of the ladies (about 6 of them) did not use similar methods to cleaning and a lot of them took short cuts (not cleaning baseboards, light fixtures, red mold from shower, etc.). They were supposed to use an oil diffuser and a few other products to make the rooms smell good throughout the cleaning and a lot of the girls said they "forgot it". I ended up cancelling the Organic Maids service and they charged my card WITHOUT my authorization saying that they hadn't charged my card for a cleaning done 3 months prior. There was a charge missing but they should've asked for my permission FIRST before charging me without my consent. This is very unprofessional of a business to do. I highly recommend finding a different cleaning service. The professionals also told me that they only get to keep a bit less than half of what customers pay for the service which doesn't incentivize them to do their best (the good professionals WILL do their best, find clients, and then leave this business to make money that they can keep 100% for themselves, hence why the company is left with sub-par professionals). read more

The first time I used Organic Maids, the maid was great. Arrived on time and did a good job. The second time I booked them for a pre-Thanksgiving cleaning, they could not keep the appointment for the time booked. I had confirmed it with them repeatedly as I was on a tight schedule. So, I was left with no cleaning. Very disappointed and I will not book them again. The whole point was that I needed a good, reliable service. This is not one of them. read more

I used this service a few times and then cancelled. The first clean was great they had a few issues but all were resolved. My issues started when I was out of town and a neighbor texted me the door and alarm code I created for the cleaning team. They shouted it out twice when entering the home. If the neighbors can hear it shouted out then surely others can hear it. I was not excited to have a potential safety issue. There were always different people coming to clean and continuity was a challenge. I only have one parking spot and every week I had to deal with confusion and upset cleaners due to the parking. Not sure why parking logistics wasn't put into the notes for my home. Also I work from home and the team never arrived at the time of the appt. Because they always sent new people I had to field questions about parking etc or have them knocking on my office door while on calls bc they were early and didn't know where to park etc. The quality of the cleanings went down hill and got progressively worse. The final straw was when the couch wasn't vacuumed but pillows were rearranged to try and hide dog hair. I really wanted to like this company but spent more time dealing with issues (not all listed) and quality concerns. MaidPure has saved the day. I've been with them nearly 2 years and they are a refreshing change from other services I've used in the past. The owner treats his staff with tremendous respect and understanding. This reflects in the attitude of the cleaners who visit your home. The happier they are the happier everyone is. Some of them bring such joy into the home. As to the cleaning itself they do a really nice job. Either Julie or Lisa come by after the clean is done to check the work. This is a very special part of the service. Sometimes the house needs attention in more areas or something out of the routine needs to get done and I can always arrange this with Pat beforehand. They consistently come within a one hour range or so and have NEVER cancelled services on me. If they are running late I get a text or a call. They also use green cleaning products which is a must for me. The house always smells fresh and inviting when they are done. The main issue of cleaning companies seems to be consistency of getting the same crew into your home week after week and I can understand this. This company has provided the best consistency of all. Right now my most current crew of Patricia and Etelvina do a wonderful job. They just cleaned the entire house for my family who is visiting and everything was left sparkling. If something is missed they are more than happy to come back to re-do but I've never found that necessary. They are easy to work with, understanding, respectful of our home and flexible. While most maid services focus on superficial cleaning, MaidPure focuses on the details and make sure the house is cleaned properly. I stumbled across MaidPure on Angie's List last year. The gals from MaidPure have been cleaning my house for several months and it has been a great experience. The company is well managed and incredibly organized. I've had several different teams visit as I had to reschedule a few cleanings. They've all been terrific. Every team leader has a notebook that contains notes from the last cleaning as well as any requests I've made via email. A supervisor spot checks after a cleaning to make sure that everything has been done properly. They use organic cleansers and the house smells terrific when they are done. This is definitely not the cheapest cleaning service in Charlotte. However, I feel better about using this service as I know that the employees are being treated well. We used Maid Pure for a move-out cleaning service and were incredibly happy with the quality of the service. Although I cleaned regularly while we lived there, once all the furniture was out of the house we found dog hair everywhere from our three dogs. The cleaners were professional and extremely thorough. I waited a month to write this review. I had a totally different experience with MaidPure. Initially the cleaning was acceptable but that went down hill when only one lady came to clean. I contacted a supervisor and asked that she come to look at the work. She did not. I notified MaidPure that I wouldn't need their services any longer. MaidPure did offer to recclean. MaidPure told me I had their best team so I declined their offer. Not once did MaidPure offer to not charge me for the last cleaning. MaidPure did not replace my crystal letter opener. MaidPure's customer service is outstanding. Pat walked me through the services and provided me with estimates. Good company. They did a great cleaning job. They weren't in a hurry to finish, so the house was sparkling when they left.

We used MaidPure as a last minute, much needed option. They were very accomodating to my schedule, especially considering how last minute my request was. I am glad to have someone clean my home 2x month. It really makes a difference. One time I had a "bad" cleaning -- things knocked over, pictures askew, things done in an obvious hurry, and I complained. The contact person was very apologetic and I have not had a problem since. My only complaint is they send different people for every visit, although initially they told me they 'try to get the same people for every visit.' It is always clean, but I never know what I am going to get - basic cleaning (which is good) or extra care ("we took extra time in your laundry room, organizing") - I wish I could expect extra care at every visit. There is no attention to detail when it comes to cleaning. Even after I pointed out some areas that needed to be redone, it was still dirty. They showed up late to our "second chance" cleaning and broke a vase. The vase wasn't a problem as it was just a cheap piece from Ross. They offered to subtract its value from our service charge but I had to remind them twice in order to actually get it subtracted. We also had a wax build up on our hardwood floor due to the use of a product that we were unaware was bad for our floor. During our second visit when they steam mopped the floor (was supposed to be done on the first clean but they forgot the steam mop), the steam mop left HUGE white patches all over the floor. They left before I was given a chance to look at the floors. When I called to question it I was told "it will get better with time". My husband has been working 3 hours every night on the floors since and the white patches are not going away. We may now to forced to replace the entire hardwood floor. We are expecting our first baby next month and new floors is a huge hit to the budget but we have no choice as we are expecting company when the baby comes. read more
