They came in a did an estimate which was spot on. They replaced the aging plugs and switches, some of which actually crumbled when they were taken out thus probably saving a fire. I just bought the condo and had doubts about the panel too. I also had the a new ceiling fan installed and four junctions for kitchen lights moved. The gentleman doing to work was very professional, explained anything that was out of the ordinary, made really great suggestions on the kitchen lights and cleaned up properly. Customer be aware: the free estimate is not really free! If it needs trouble shoot to find out the problem to get an estimate, the cost is more than $200 dollars ! So the ads of free estimates is really miss-leading, and the quote for the job (compare to other vendors) are also outrageously expensive. read more

They changed out our circuit breaker box from 1971. Cory noticed my AC unit was not grounded. That could have killed someone and it s been that way for decades. When I called them I originally only needed 3 ceiling fans changed but decided all of the electrical outlets and light switches were all yellow, old, cracked and needed to be replaced. Elijah showed up on time with his helper Cody. I walked them through the job, they gave me a quote and were able to get everything done that same day - even the additional add-on work. Thank you Yelpers for coming through for me again! I made 5 contacts for finding an Electrician. This was the first one to respond on a Friday. We were able to schedule an appointment for Monday. By Monday all the other electricians were calling for an appointment or more information. I had to explain work was on our way. The issues I had were resolved. The electrician's that showed were extremely professional and thorough. They have set pricing, so I was able to easily determine what I could afford at this time, and what could wait. The extra time it took to troubleshoot a ceiling fan that started flashing, led them to a loose connection in the outlet. They take their time to do the job correctly. We will be calling them again next month. I had a home inspection, but they did not tell me any of the items this company found. I'm very lucky that no one was hurt, including myself. If I ever buy a home again- I will gladly pay for an electric inspection from this company instead of trusting a home inspector. read more

Recently my siblings were trying to sell our Mother's house and we were on a deadline. We needed some work done asap. I am quite stingy with 4 and 5 star reviews. The Original Electrician easily earned their 5 stars. After contacting them through Yelp, I got a reply within ten minutes with basic information about preliminary cost for troubleshooting and availability. We set up an appointment for a few days later. Andrew was prompt, correctly diagnosed our electrical problem and showed us how his fee was structured with a graphics presentation. I found his fee to be fair and reasonable. I usually use my home warranty company who typically assigns a local contractor. In this instance they could not assign a c9ontractor and told me to find my own. End r4esult was that the home warranty company immediately reimbursed me the contractor's fee. This showed me that Andrew's services and fees were in line with their practices. This business was awful. I had used them once before and it was good. This time a employee was sent to install two ceiling fans, a bathroom fan and 4 light fixtures. One ceiling fan was installed wrong so fan did not work and I was told it was defective. I had manufacturer send another fan and again it was installed incorrectly by the same person and still did not work. It was not defective. The owner had to come out and in 5 minutes fixed it. The owner made excuses for his employee and did not want to come out to see why it wasn't working. My bathroom vent fan is still not installed (6 weeks later) as I was told it would not fit. The owner said he could make it fit and then never showed up as scheduled to install it. I have no bathroom fan in my bathroom, just a hole where my previous fan used to be as my old fan was discarded. This company does not care about finishing the job or about taking responsibility for their bad service and incompetent employees. I will never use them again. read more

My Mom had an electrical problem in her mobile home. I Called and Clayton came out as scheduled. He investigated and determined the problem, actually it was not easy given the age on the mobile. He told me the price to fix it no matter how long it took him. It took approx. 2+hours. He told me what he was doing along the way. The result is a very happy Mom.
