I'm a fan of the complimentary popcorn (simple pleasures matter), and while the bathrooms might look a little scary at first glance, they're generally clean--which honestly puts them ahead of many dive bars downtown that barely qualify as functional. The space itself is bigger than it initially appears, almost deceiving when you first walk in. Over the years, the interior has seen steady upgrades, and it shows. The stage is well lit, and every Monday I frequent their open mic--an event that's been running for decades and continues to be a cornerstone of the local comedy scene. There's also an outdoor patio and bar area, which adds a nice option when the weather cooperates. One moment that really stood out to me was Thanksgiving, when they hosted a Friendsgiving and fed all the comedians who regularly perform there. It was genuinely generous and speaks volumes about how much this place values its community. All around, The Other Bar feels familiar in the best way--a reliable, welcoming spot that supports local talent and keeps evolving without losing its soul. Went to the Monday night comedy show at The Other Bar hosted by Vance and had a really good time! The environment was fun, welcoming, and had a great energy that made it easy to just relax and enjoy the night. The crowd was engaged and the vibe felt inviting from the moment we walked in. I didn't try any drinks, so I can't speak on that, but overall the experience was solid. If you're looking for a laid-back night with some laughs, this is definitely worth checking out! read more

This was the first bar we went into on Wall Street in Downtown Orlando. It had no cover charge and the waiter was kind in welcoming us with jokes and laughter while taking our drink orders!. After a disappointing experience at another spot, this bar completely turned our night around. The music was on point--a great mix that kept the energy up without being overwhelming--but the real highlight was the bartender. As soon as we walked in, she greeted us warmly and made us feel right at home. She chatted with us just enough to lift our spirits and made my wife feel seen and appreciated after the mess we had just left behind. That kind of hospitality makes all the difference. On top of that, they had LALO Tequila, which was a huge win for me. I only drink additive-free tequila, and it's rare to find a bar that stocks one of my favorites. It really shows that they care about quality. I wish I had asked for the bartender's name--she was average height with black hair. If you visit, I hope you get to meet her. The music is early 2000's alternative, Jason the bartender is AMAZING and super friendly and made the best drinks and there's fresh popped popcorn for a bar snack. Solid A OK. More of what you'd expect for a dive bar located in downtown Orlando - which isn't bad! I love me a good dive bar. They have televisions for game days or random other shows. It's a Bills backer bar so if you're a Bills fan you should definitely add it to your rotation. Had a bit of a struggle with my bill as it was put under an alternate name but closed out and had to reset my bill with a manager, not a huge deal - it all got sorted. 3.5 stars One of the many bars in downtown Orlando, but we always seek out this place because of one reason. Popcorn! There's actually another bar further inward with popcorn and gourmet seasonings, but when you're full of alcohol, directions aren't your strong suit. I don't think we got any drinks from here (again, memory is a little hazy) as it was packed. They played some good music so we stayed for as long as we could tolerate feeling like sardines and left soon after with cups of popcorn. The night we went, they also had a person making balloon animals. I asked for a unicorn and he just asked for a donation (although the bf told me after the fact that he specifically asked him for $5). It was the most beautiful balloon unicorn. Everyone at the other bars were majorly confused, but the ones here were all part of the balloon animal family. Overall, good call setting yourself apart with the popcorn and balloon animals. Went here last night for an event, it was my first visit but have passed it various times while DT. It is in the middle of Wall St. but an independent part from the rest of the spots on the street. Each time I pass it always looks packed and like everyone is having a good time, only thing is, I am not sure it's my "target" crowd. It seems cool to hit up every now and again but not really a "go-to" spot for me, more like every once in a while. Totally dig the outside part, nice size bar outside with a good amount of seating all around. Sectioned off so it does not spill into the street and get too crowded. Nice layout inside, love the DJ booth spot. The bartenders were on POINT too so that is a very nice plus! read more

Went into this place during super bowl party and would have never thought "comedy" nothing even hinted to it around the place. Staff was nice and friendly, but not super professional. The two bartenders, vying for the attention of the two attractive, flirty and scantily clad girls at the bar kept goofing off, to the point of throwing whipped cream and water on each other. I'm all for fun behind the bar, but this was pushing the limits, you're still at work and should be a professional...or at least make sure everyone in your bar is having as much fun as you and the girl you're after. Prices were reasonable, and beer was cold. Will have to check out for this comedy I'm reading about. read more

Not much to say about this place. Typical downtown bar with decent beer selections (Sweetwater 420, Magic Hat, etc) but nothing too out of the ordinary. We went recently for a cards against humanity tournament which is held weekly (I think). It was a blast! The bartenders were nice, but not really conversational. They did enter a team into the cards against humanity game though, so that was funny. I have a feeling that this place gets your typical bar-hopper. Woo girls, dude-bros, and the like. However, it has potential. It's just tough to stand out in the downtown area. The young 20-somethings are all pretty generic, so even bars that try to be unique have to skirt a fine line so as not to confuse their client base. read more

Small lil bar in the heart of it all. In town for April vacation so wanted to find something to do on Monday night. I found this place. They had amateur stand-up comedy. I stayed for about 6 aspiring comic's and while I didn't find almost any of it funny I will say I have to give it to them. It takes balls to get up there and preform. Some of them have it just need to work on there craft. The drinks were a tad pricey (same price as all the other bars) it was pretty dead but it was dead all over as it was a Monday night. read more

Great Music and usually has one of the better DJ's in orlando. but frankly for playing such good music its pretty dam small. it wraps around a large U shaped bar and is pretty narrow on the right side. which translates to a (fun night) is easily stuffy and over packed. drinks are cheap though and easily the only place on wall street that plays consistently good EDM music. read more

THE BAR STAFF WILL LOSE YOUR CARD! I went to this bar on a Saturday night out with a friend and ordered 2 drinks. We had to reorder 4 times with the same girl. It was as if the girl was on something and kept forgetting. When i went to give her my card and pay she never came back. I had to find her again and ask where my card was... She proceeded to say she gave it back to me and even showed me another receipt with a signature and insisted it was my signature. I had to keep reinforcing that it wasn't my signature and she never game it back. They tried to make me seem like I lost my card or as if I was in the wrong. Long story short she never found my card nor did the manager, KJ. The bartender "accidentally" gave my card to someone else who then went on to spend it all over downtown and now i have to file fraud claim and be debit card-less for the next week. Just bad management and customer service. Ive never experienced a bar make that kind of mistake in my life. read more
