Other Place is our other kitchen. It has wonderful pizza, hamburgers. I have many favorites here. The Philly cheese steak sandwich is a healthy portion, tasty and always as delicious as it was the last time you ordered it. The tenderloin is another favorite. The other place is clean and pleasant to be in and has friendly staff. read more

The place could use a good scrubbing. I ordered chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, as a favorite at other O.P. locations where the food is fantastic. This time the meat was a processed rubbery chicken pattie sliced onto my dish. Tuesday evening and they were very busy, which is great. Staff did an amazing job. read more

Ambiance the same as it has been from opening and love it. Service always good. We left Iowa many years ago and going back to get OP pizza is a treat! Wish there was an OP in Florida the FL Hawkeye fans would make it successful! Best pizza in the world, hands down! Menu never disappoints. Same great food for decades! read more

It's been quite awhile since I'd been to the OPPORTUNITY in E-Dale but it's always been very good. Stopped in to get a sandwich with a buddy after a day in the salvage yard getting parts for the old Merc. Great Fish Sandwich and my buddy had a huge Pork Tenderloin....I can say from past experiences that the pizza and the Lasagna are very good as well. read more

Wow. I hadn't had an OP pizza for 45 years. I'm not sure why, but it was a big mistake to wait so long. Tonight, in Evansdale, I had what was darned near a perfect pizza. Not too salty or sweet (I asked for "a little light on the sauce", and actually got it), perfect amount of veggies, and not too much cheese...you could actually taste all the ingredients. And the bartender was willing to experiment with my suggestion. This is a great place for pizza, for tv, and for local color. read more

Nothing like a great sports bar! This place has got you covered with everything.. I love about a good sports bar. They have inspiring sports memorabilia (cool autographed Jerseys, photos, and more), They have plenty of tv's for sports watching, they got good drink deals, lots of good bar food options, and heck they even have a CLAW Machine for the kids! The staff here would definitely be inducted into the Hall of Fame of serving and the vegan pizza they made us was just what my belly needed after a late night of drinks on an empty tummy! I will have to try the OTHER PLACE's... Other locations closer to home.. Cause this place was a home run! read more

So we went to the OP in Evandale with a party of 12 people. Service was great and the bill was only $152 before tip. We had quite a few pitchers of beer along with what we are. So one person had hot wings and a side salad. Maybe I'm spoiled but iceberg lettuce with two slices of cucumber and one tomato wedge piled with croutons, meh. The hot wings were average bar food, nothing special. One person had the chicken tenders with a couple of sides. The chicken looked like frozen from a box you'd buy at SAMs club, yuck. Now for the pizza. We ordered 3 for the rest of the table and had tons left. Here are the reviews in order of best to ok. The Taco Pizza: I can't get this down south so I was in high anticipation of this one. The flavor was good. Not sure about the quality of meat they used. Very cheesy, almost too much. Lettuce and tomatoes on top were fresh. Nacho chips on top were definitely generic brand. The crust was way to hard and processed for my taste. Canadian Bacon and sauerkraut: not on the menu but you can order it any time. Overall it was good but once again, overwhelming cheese. The sauce was savory. The crust on this one seemed a little tough. The House Special: hmmm, I guess my main comment is that there were so many different toppings in this that nothing was the star of the show next to the sauce. The overwhelming cheese was then topped with green peppers that overwhelmed the flavor of the entire pie. I guess if you were a big green pepper fan, this would be your pie. The crust was tough and hard. I think they must do some type of remade crust. Not a whole lot of choices for pizza in such a small town so I think that's why they're so busy. The local people rave about the OP but it's just not my kind of pizza. I like a homemade fresh crisp but chewy crust and the whole cardboard like crust turned me off. The did was so good I couldn't believe the fries I got. Couldn't finish. The waitress was friendly and accommodating.

I tell you what I don't know what happened to this place but the food just isn't the same the last time I ate there was a couple months ago and I had their chicken gizzards and they were nasty they were hard and the next time I went in there I thought I'd give it a try just thought it was a bad night same thing nasty so I don't go over there for their pizza so I guess I just won't be going there read more

You have to get your pizza to go... It's dirty. It stinks. The booths are falling apart. Everything is sticky. But the pizza is great.... We'll sometimes. It seems like there is a bit of quality control problem. It all depends on who's making the pizza. Sometimes you get an amazing pie. Other times it's like they forgot what you ordered and forgot to put cheese on it. I think they recently changed their wings too. They aren't as big as they used to be. Still pretty decent though. We usually order OP once a week and about 80% of the time it's amazing. "Wow, the pizza is good tonight" can commonly be heard at our house post delivery. It's not the cheapest but it's really good when it's good. read more

My favorite pizza place in the cedar valley! When I'm craving pizza this is my go to. The all meat supreme with extra cheese can't be beat. The onions rings and mozzarella sticks are great too. Both are homemade and not the frozen variety you get at most other restaurants around town. The service is also great. I've never had bad service here. Overall great spot if you're looking for a nice place to have supper. read more

Nice sports bar, and decent pizza place. I do indeed have to say that the Subs are excellent.

Once seated took about 15 minutes for a waitress to come to our table and take our drink order. She seemed in a rush. Once drink order was placed took about 10 minutes to get them. Waited 20 minutes for her to come back and take our food order, once taken she took our drink order once again to refill our drinks. Took 45 minutes to get our food. At the time when we order our food another waitress was waiting on 3 other tables in our area we were sitting, all got their food about 10 minutes before we did and they all sat down after us. Unexceptable. We love the OP too, just not tonight. 3 dirty tables around us as well and they were dirty when we sat down and were still dirty when we left, that isn't acceptable either. I mean it takes 5 minutes to clean a table. Staff needs to do a better job at cleaning table and checking on the customers. Our waitress delivered our food and didn't come back to check on us until she brought the check when we were finished with our meal. What if we wanted another drink or something? "The Other Place III" in Evansdale is one of our family's favorite places to eat. I have been to all of the OP locations, and this is my favorite one. I absolutely LOVE their pizza. When I moved away for 12 years, I frequently craved this pizza and wished I could have had it sent to me in the mail. When I moved back to the area, I was relieved to find that NOTHING had changed. Same great pizza, same great service. It was like I had never left. read more
