We arrived right around noon. Our server was very friendly. She was attentive but didn't hover. We split a breaded pork tenderloin with potato chips, split an order of breaded cheese curds and we each had a beer. Our server split the bill before bringing it over. My half was $21 before tip. The food was very good, but the cost seemed excessive. It's a nicely set up bar & grill with plenty of TV's to watch sports. They have some very nice murals in the back room. A good down home sports bar! Plenty of TVs and bar space for everyone. I enjoyed my bacon burger with a slice of Swiss cheese and yes, there was plenty of bacon on it! Friday night and we timed the end of family dinner time, just right. Service was spot on and friendly in spite of a full house. The service was fine, so was the ambiance, especially when it's basketball season! The food however took a hr or so to be delivered which it was quite busy but that's crazy. My fiancé and I both got burgers and they had absolutely NO FLAVOR. Legit tasted like cardboard. The fries, ranch and water were good though. However, we will definitely not be returning. Great gem in this area of town. Since I've worked over here this has been the third bar and grill in this location. I like this one the best. It's quite busy for lunch and supper. During the summer they have sand volleyball and several bike ralleys. I went today for lunch with five of my employees to treat them to lunch. We all ordered sandwiches, burgers or wraps and the beer battered fries. Food was out in about 15 minutes and was delicious. Plan to spend at least $10 a person. $15 with drink and tip. But the food was all great. You pay more for the beer battered fries but sooooo worth it. The standard side is chips. It is a bar atmosphere but there are several booths and high top tables. I have never been to the outside patio but it seems to attract a crowd in the summer. Parking can be troublesome. The place shares a parking lot with several other places in the strip mall. There is on street parking or you could park across the street at Walgreens. I don't go here often but since it's close to work its a great place to get a bite to eat with co workers. The staff is friendly and they keep the drinks full and have always been attentive to the table. The owner is fantastic. He's always there so employees are on their best behavior. read more

The food here is decent-I can't get enough of the mac and cheese bites. However a lot of the food is spicy, which isn't my cup of tea. They have a ton of beers on tap and even have a loaded bloody mary (loaded meaning with a cheeseburger on it). I've never tried it but it looks delicious. I have been here twice, both times with a large group (10-15). Both times have been unacceptable experiences. I understand that things take a bit longer when it's a group, but both times it took FORTY minutes from the time we ordered to when we got our food. And the food was mediocre. Not hot, just slightly warm. Also, we had the same server both times and I never saw her smile. It was like our being there was such an inconvenience for her. It took quite a while to get our drinks in the beginning as well, and then she never came back after delivering our food to ask if anyone needed refills. Needless to say we will not be returning and I will actually discourage people from going here if they ever ask. I'd probably feel a bit different if the server had been nicer, but we really didn't feel welcome at all. read more

Bartender screamed at me across the room for trying to position a fan that was pointing at empty seats towards my baby and four year old who were sweaty and overheated. We ordered four or five appetizers that didn't come until after everyone was finished with main course and waitress could not appear to care less. Waitress was extremely slow at writing down orders, she had to ask many times for people to slow down or repeat their orders and was very rude on top of being bad at her job. Food was fine. Wish the service and atmosphere was nicer because I live close by and would love to have a neighborhood spot to enjoy. read more

Used to be great, I've always loved the mac and cheese, but the service and standards are nonexistent now! Servers and cooks without hair coverings/ponytails, a server that got the order wrong but never bothered to run the food or check back with us! Good service and good food. Nothing special, but a good neighborhood bar and grill. Ok to take you kids there until around 830 or so. They seem to struggle with unexpected large groups; service slows down even if they can accommodate the seating. read more

I agree with Terry W's post. Our food was ok, but it took almost 30 minutes to get our food and we were the only table there! For the prices they charge, I expect the food and service to be better. Way better off going to Pump Haus or Toads. read more

Some of the food here is the same as Toad's Bar & Grill except you can get fries with your burger there without having to pay an up-charge, unless they changed that recently. The food here is pretty good, except more expensive than other comparable places. read more

I will start with the positive and say that the service was GREAT! I'd go back for the bar scene, but not the food. Our server was busy with a larger table, so a server who was less busy had no problem or hesitation in stepping up to our table and assisting with drink orders. I used to work at Screaming Eagle, which is owned by the same person, so my boyfriend and I decided to try Wild Hare. I really enjoyed the food at Screagle so I expected the same quality and ended up highly disappointed! My boyfriend had spaghetti and meatballs and the "meatballs" we two previously frozen chunks of meat cut into to 2 pieces to make it look like there was 4! My pasta had cheese on top that looked like it was microwaved or sat under a heat lamp to be made crisp. read more
