They have ZERO compassion and if you are a company that work with hospitals and patients who need necessary medical devices for their BREATHING, your employees should learn to have compassion and understanding. What kind of medical supply company is closed on weekends. I was discharged from the hospital on Friday got a call from y'all that I had a copay, ok fine. Then they are closed on the weekends. Two days without the meds I needed. I call on Monday I owe a dollar and change. I'm told she'll get it delivered Monday. Monday comes and goes NOTHING. I called back this morning I'm on hold for forever again I'm told oh it shows that you took it home with you from the hospital. That's not what she said Monday and I definitely didn't take it home with me, so I asked what's gonna happen the girl on the phone says she's reaching out to the person, what does that mean? it means I reached out to the person but what does that mean and she kept repeating it over and over again I'm reaching out to them I tell them fine I'm calling back in two hours they tell me you don't need to call back in two hours I'm reaching out to that person why can't I get an actual response why can't I get a real answer and why can't you guys get it together enough to get people their NECESSARY MEDICAL EQUIPMENT!!! I haven't had my proper breathing medication for 4 days now, i've already landed back in the ER because I haven't had it and if I go back to the yard again because of this I'm sending you the bill along with my lawyers information. read more

I waited months to get my machine after I paid, customer service is terrible and useless, and it seems they really only care about extracting every cent out of their victims. I needed a portable oxygen concentrator. I called a week after my doctor has sent in the order and it has not been processed yet. I spoke to Stephanie and she said she would try to get the order moved up to be worked. Two hours later she called and said my concentrator was ready and wouild have it delivered the same day. Thanks to Stephanie I am able to go out of the house with my portable concentrator. She is wonderful. read more

I returned my equipment, even have video, but then they send me a letter saying I didn't and they are coming after me for $2900. Before this they fraudulently attempted to take money from my bank account without my authorization. Luckily I stopped it through my bank. Don't believe me? Look at other reviews. The reason i'm writing this review is because of stephanie in peoria. We had trouble trying to get supplies from here until we talked to stephanie who was so nice and help us immediatly. Were very thankful for her helping us. We've dealt with mesa before and their good too. We were down to our last 4 catheters for my husbands suction machine and this definitely kept us from trouble. I have been trying to get my 90 year old mother a portable O2 concentrator (POC) for months and The Oxygen Store was NO help. After all of the paperwork was submitted, and I was told that everything was in order, we waited weeks for the POC to be in stock. I called twice a week for weeks and they kept telling me that the POC was backordered. Then, after weeks of calling, I was told that she was not eligible under Medicare. I was given some lame excuse. I have tried to research the Medicare rules and in my opinion she is eligible. My mother has had a home O2 concentrator for years and The Oxygen Store has never serviced it or sent supplies. When I was trying to get the POC I mentioned that the home machine has never been serviced and they scheduled service. However, nobody showed! I also called to get supplies for the home machine and they told me the UPS has already picked up for the day (Friday) but that the supplies would go out on Monday. My mother never received the supplies. I think it is time to report them to Medicare! Medicare rules state the they must service the machine and send supplies. Unfortunately, under Medicare rules, once you start with a company you cannot switch. Hopefully I can switch to a different Rotech store! My suffering continues... read more

We have had previous experience with Apria and Preferred for O2 and various rehab equipment. On a recent discharge from Mayo Clinic, the case manager suggested RoTech (The Oxygen Store) based on their positive experiences. They proved to be very professional, courteous, and prompt.We have needed a wheelchair, respiratory machines, oxygen and everytime we have needed information or replacement parts, they have been great. It is hard enough to navigate serious health issues, companies that are efficient make it easier. I appreciate this company. read more

Horrible customer service! They don't answer phones or emails what's wrong with this company!

Customer service isn't their thing. The Oxygen Store is owned by Rotech They showed up at the Mayo Clinic and dropped off my equipment the guy was friendly. Now three weeks later I need a new tank so I can leave the house. I called them to request a new tank. The IVR said they would call me back if I press 1. They called me back about 45 minutes later and said the VR wasn't work and asked me to spell my name with the buttons, after doing this it tells me it can't find me. I tried 2 more times with the same results. I couldn't find anyway around this and had to hang up. I called back and waited an hour to speak to Hailey. Hailey is very matter of fact and not big on customer service. I let Hailey know I needed another oxygen tank. She informed me they can deliver on Tuesday, it's Wednesday now, so it's going to be a week before they can deliver a new tank, I asked if there was anyway to get a tank before the weekend and she said "no". She explains that they service the whole valley (Phoenix) and drivers are in certain areas on certain days. Hailey then tells me they only do home delivery once every 12 weeks but I can come.intonthe office and pick up a tank. It seems to me if they explained this somewhere they could avoid some calls and needlessly wasting customers time. read more

Ok, so where do I begin? It's May 30,2019 and I'm in Tucson traveling with my family to go to lunch. We are on a side, residential street with one lane eastbound and one lane westbound. There is a construction zone ahead with workers in the street and literally a backhoe tractor dead center in the street, In addition to all of this going on, the eastbound/westbound lanes of traffic are separated by a double yellow no passing zone. So now that you have the picture, how does this factor in with a complaint about "The Oxygen Store" in Sun City Arizona? So as I slow to about 5 MPH in a 15 MPH construction zone with workers and heavy equipment directly in front of me in the street an older full sized white panel van "races" up behind me and brakes to avoid colliding with me in my car with my family. Then the driver has the audacity to rev his engine, drive across the double yellow into the opposing lane of traffic, narrowly miss striking the constructions workers and the backhoe. I estimated the driver to be traveling about 35 MPH in the 15 MPH construction zone. As it passed me, that's when I saw painted on the side of the van, "The Oxygen Store" with the 623 area code for Sun City painted on it. Now, was our ridiculous driver done yet in his jeopardizing local Tucson residents? Of course not. He next proceeded to run the stop sign at the intersection immediately on the other side of the construction zone at about 15 MPH then accelerated to about 40 MPH in a now 25 MPH residential zone! I have only done this once before in my life but I figured I needed to call The Oxygen Store to let them know about their reckless driver and maybe address the matter. I called the Oxygen Store and told the young lady I wished to complain about the driving pattern of one of their drivers. The woman briefly asked what I observed and I told her. She then said a supervisor would take the complaint. I was placed on hold for about three minutes then I got hung-up on! My telephone number was not blocked so they easily could have called me back...but noooooo. No call back, no nothing. Apparently the Oxygen Store doesn't care about the average citizen, just the all mighty dollar and will give their reckless driving drivers a free pass as long as they make it to their appointed schedules on time :-/ read more

If i could give zero or negative stars, I would. My dr gave my cpap Rx to this place and I was reluctant after reading their terrible reviews. They screwed up everything from my appt to my insurance coverage. They "forgot" to get the cpap authorized by my insurance co, and were about to charge me over $400 because of their mistake, when this machine is 90% covered by my insurance. I wonder how many senior citizens they scam this way? When I told them i was going to go to a different company due to their incompetence, i didn't even get an apology. STAY AWAY! read more

I recently required in home O2 services for my spouse after her heart surgery. These folks delivered a concentrator and bottle on the expected day and it all seemed good. After a couple of weeks my wife no longer needed the O2 so we called for a pick up. We were told that since Arizona considers O2 a drug we needed to have her PCP call in to have the service stopped. The PCP called them on 04/24. Almost 2 weeks later and they still have not picked up their equipment. We reported them to our insurance carrier and informed them that if they charged us for the time, we did not use, we are going to file an appeal. I can only imagine that they are still charging Medicare a nice fee for it being here. Maybe some folks don't look after Medicare money like its their own but my wife and I do. And maybe things would cost a bit less if we all worked to clamp down on this kind of nonsense. I am done being exploited by people who have fooled themselves into thinking they are just doing great business by using trickery, and malicious compliance to get around the right thing to do. read more

The oxygen store is unethical and dishonest. After a three week wait for them to verify my insurance, they told me equipment/O2 would be $50 deductible and the remainder was covered by my I insurance. I was subsequently charged $500. They refused to reimburse me as they said they shouldn't have told me insurance covered it and they already sent the bill. read more

This is the worst place ever! My Dr ordered a CPAP machine for me here early July, here it is now September and not a word from them. A couple of weeks ago I walked into their office to find out what is going on with my order and all I got was attitude. I was told that they are waiting for my insurance to authorize the machine. So I called my insurance right in there lobby. Insurance told me that they didn't need a pre-authorization for a CPAP. I told them this and I got even more attitude. Now it's 3 weeks later and still no word from them. Went to my Dr and went with a different company. I came home with a CPAP 4 days later. I finally got through today and actually spoke to a person only to learn that I need a new prescription in order to see if I would qualify for a newer CPAP machine. I understand there might be procedures for this but I really don't even want to go back there. I wasn't happy with the customer service in their phone call backs. I had been searching for a cpap provider. I took in the paperwork from my Dr. they told me the needed one more piece of paperwork and would contact the dr. Three months later after i called and left messages nothing. I finally got ahold of someone. They told me that tue paperwork i dropped off still needed one piece of paperwork from dr. I stated i know and they knew. She stated they would now call dr to get it Two months later after i called several time with no answer or return calls to my messages they tell me the same thing but now its been over three months so they need all new paperwork. DONT GO. HERE. The reviews are accurate and they don't care to change and it is a total waste of time. Initially would have been much higher as accommodating to get me in and explaining my CPAP or whatever they call it now and switching out to a mask which was needed. Follow up and after "sale" has been just downright awful. I was to get a follow call to verify mask, supplies etc., which never came and had to call to verify and felt like was bothering them this was I believe with the associated/owned company Rotech. Called back this time The Oxygen Store as they had giving me a date range of when I needed to have an appointment with my primary care Doctor to meet insurance qualifications. One of the most confusing, non-response conversations I have had with a company that is suppose to know what is going on. Let them know I was looking to go in on the early range of the time as I believe it was a 30-90 day time window. They said had to be done after 30 days, but should be closer to the 90 window. Sometime in March, explained I needed to go in to for required visit for medical refills and could I do it just after the 30 day portion of the window. Was told needed to be closer to 90 days and I asked why given a range if needed to be 90 days and was that make appointment in 90 day or see them and if needed to be closer to 90 days what was the earliest since the date range given did not seem to be correct. Went off on a tangent of my insurance requirements and did have to be an actual visit by 90 days, but when I kept asking then what would be the earliest I could make it close to the 90 days just in case it needed to be moved(unfortunate world we are in right now) she just could not answer and said talk to your insurance company. Explained it may be better to tell your customers that so they do not end up in violation of insurance terms and she just said have a nice day and ended the call. Pretty tragic and unprofessional, this is the second CPAP I have ever had and much different "qualifications" I am needing to go through. The Oxygen Store received a 2 star and not a 1 star as the were friendly and accommodating with their initial part, but in my opinion after they were done with their requirements they were pretty much done with me. If you are getting ANY equipment or services through them that has insurance coverage requirements. DO NOT take what they tell you as you may have the potential to have to pay thousands out of pocket. Follow-up, follow-up, follow-up with Rotech, The Oxygen store and mainly your insurance company to make sure you are doing what you need to be covered. I would and will stay away from this place in the future as I have not trust they are looking out for me after they have handed off the equipment. read more

I cannot believe this business gets anything less than 5 stars... I have Pulmonary Fibrosis which is a terminal condition with a 45 % lung capacity... along with my Primary Doctor these wonderful people were able to set me up with a complete oxygen system in less than 4 hours, something that Banner Lung Institute could not do in 2 weeks with another oxygen company... Cannot give enough praising to Dave, Steph, Margaret,and forgive my memory the 3 other wonderful people that helped me to receive my oxygen that I so desperately needed... This place has THE WORST customer service I've ever seen. I've been trying to get equipment and supplies for my husbands bipap since July. YES July. I've been promised so many returned calls and never gotten one. Supposedly they're "working with my insurance " and will get back to me. Then we physically went into the store and were kept waiting 25 minutes to buy supplies out of pocket. We could hear several people talking and working in the back but no one helped us. Called to ask about getting cpap & o2 concentrator. The store sends all phone calls to the general call center. The call center said they would not sell the machines, only rent them as they make more money renting them. So they would rather pass up on making any money from you (with a sell) than make less money for less work (no billing each month) read more

If there was a way to rate this store as a negative I would. Sleep apnea can be pretty serious and these people act like you are interrupting their life to make a nail appointment. Tried for weeks to get my cpap supplies from them - they wouldn't return phone calls, drove there in person- nobody knows what you are talking about- but they promise to have someone call- they don't. They were sure quick to bill my insurance for a full set up of supplies in the beginning- but when I get called in to actually receive the supplies- they are sorry they are missing some. So you have to limp through to your next supply hoping that you will get some of your order the next time. I can't think of any other way to label it other than fraud if they bill your insurance for items you don't actually ever receive. read more

I have been trying to call this place to try and figure out why my CPAP supplies haven't been ordered and they never returned any of my messages this has been going on since the beginning of this year. I really hope this place goes out of business I will also be reporting these people to the BBB. The oxygen works, but their billing is constantly screwed up. I use a credit card, get a receipt, but the charge never goes through. They stopped them from accepting cash at least a year ago, so at least we have a credit card record. Just be ready to waste some time getting the billing straightened out. read more

2 weeks ago I was told I would be having foot surgery and would need a knee scooter. I recieved the perscription and other paper work that was needed. I called them a week ago every day maybe even twice. They were very rude and did not help me so today I asked to talk with the manager . I have surgery thursday and still not help they are all very rude and did not want to help. So I called Perfered homecare today very understanding and jumped through hoops to get me a knee scooter on time. Terrible customer service !!! twice the device had to been order because new representative did not know what she was doing when ordering my device. I called and got billing service they hung up on me when calling to return the device. The device was supposed be picked up the very next day, but four days later had to call again and got drop calls. finally I get someone to send out UPS to retrieve the device to send back. I hope my doctor never use them again In my opinion I hope my insurance never pays them a dime for their services. I would not recommend them to anyone but I gather there the only service in town what a shame. read more
