My dog got a thorough physical exam where the vet mentioned her slight cherry eyes which I was previously told didn't need to be operated on unless they bothered her. The vet seemed to have a different opinion but wasn't in a rush to schedule anything. Luckily my pup didn't need further evaluation for her leg, but the vet techs handled her very nicely and let me hold her to make her less anxious. This isn't a low cost vet practice by any means, but the cost for her vaccinations and medications seemed reasonable. I will be coming back with my baby!

He loves going to see her and we can't recommend Dr. Smallwood and her staff enough! Edit - I see a reviewer angry about vaccines. In refute of their claim, Dr. Smallwood in our case has had no issues treating Beemo who has been unvaccinated since his diagnosis in early 2022 as directed by his oncologist. She coordinates with all his providers and we've never experienced a single challenge with her.

The entire staff is extremely kind and supportive, and Dr. Martinson is truly a gem--warm, intuitive, and incredibly thorough. She took the time to fully understand Rocky's health journey, and while a prior vet even suggested a wheelchair...I know my boy and he isn't there yet. Yes, he's aging, but it's not time for wheelchairs, heavy meds, or giving up. Dr. Martinson listened and agreed. Together we aligned on a holistic care plan that prioritizes Rocky's quality of life. Well, after a couple of sessions with Tamarah, I'm a believer! I literally can see the tension completely gone from my boy, and he genuinely seems a lot happier. Tamarah is great with him, too. She uses light touch that really works wonders. I can tell she loves dogs, and because my dog is up there in importance with the child that I actually birthed, I don't trust just anyone with him. Before the first session, she took the time to explain what she was going to do and 'introduced' herself to my dog to put him at ease.
