This place is incredible and magical! We came for the Halloween princess event where the kids made haunted houses, danced, played games and heard a princess story. Rapunzel, Elsa and Mirabel were the characters and they were fantastic and so great with the kids. Everything was also incredibly well organized. Highly recommend!

We are so happy with The Painted Palace!! Twice we have hired princesses to come to our parties and they have been SO professional and wonderful! Isabella today was so graceful and lovely and had perfect poses, and she sang just beautifully and told a story that captured all the kids' attention. We had a kid crash the party and they handled her so well! We highly recommend this company. We plan to attend the tea parties and the cruise. They clearly put a lot of effort into the costume, demeanor, and behavior. We would hire the princesses anytime!!

My daughter just had her 4th birthday party and had princess Ariel come. She had the best time, Ariel sang, did face paint, extremely engaging, she was amazing. Thank you so much!!!

Sorry to see it closed down the Redmond Town Square store. Hopefully they can find a new spot quickly.

Full disclosure, I visited this place when it was palettes and pairings in Kirkland years ago and have been to probably 7 other places like this since and have those comparison to go by. The painting activity itself is super fun and pretty simple for even beginners, kids and men. However, I think there are better places nearby that accomplish the task at the same price but better quality and here's why: 1. My group of five didn't have any alcohol drinkers. We specified this on our reservation but upon check in were told to "just grab a soda out of a box or get water out of the water cooler." Quite a step down from the champagne, wine, beer that others were drinking. To add insult to injury, the weird open cooler with boxes inside had random snack bags on top. However, we were told those snacks were all additional cost. All other locations I've been to have had some kind of fruit, cheese and treat complimentary with your booking. Including the old palettes and pairings location. 2. The instruction itself was difficult to follow and made a finished product that was pretty unlike the "model." Of the seven paintings I've done at other places, this has been my least favorite finished product by far. 3. The overall ambiance is not great. The "bartender" came in once to see if people needed wine refills. The drink area is in a completely separate area so it's almost an afterthought. Also, there wasn't even any music on for half the class so it was pretty quiet and mellow. As people ran out of paint, had supply issues, etc there was a lot of confusion on what to do. In other places, it's made very clear where to go for everything. Overall with a few simple changes, I think things would be a lot better. Like a menu of offerings, more organization in the paint room, and a little more instruction practice.

My 4 year old daughter and I had a great / memorable time here. The girls ( princesses) were lovely and did assume their characters through out the whole two hours we were there. We had tea and cookies with them.... pinky finger up and it was all cute. Later, the little girls and princesses gathered around to sing and dance to various popular disney songs. My daughter was ready to go after an hour. It can also be a little too much "too girly" I think... But we enjoyed it while it lasts but not sure if we will come back.

They took pics for everyone after the class :)

I believe our instructor's name was Hannah. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and encouraging. She brought great energy to the class and got everyone laughing and excited to paint! I love to paint and draw, I just don't have any real creative talent :) It was fun and easy to follow along and even find ways to make the painting your own. The studio itself had great vibes overall. I feel like the staff does a really good job of making the environment really fun and upbeat. There was fun music playing the whole time, which was really nice for painting and socializing. They had a decent selection of beverages, including wine, beer, cider, soda, and water. My boyfriend and I each got a glass of wine (I think they were $9 each), and then we ended up splitting a ginger ale later in the evening. We definitely got our money's worth with the wine, and it was really fun to be able to have a drink in hand while being an ~artist~. Overall, I had a really fun time during the class. I would recommend it to anyone and definitely want to return in the future.

Our instructor was fantastic--knowledgeable, engaging, and detailed in her explanations. She made sure everyone felt comfortable, regardless of skill level, and provided helpful tips throughout the session. The combination of sipping on mimosas while channeling our creativity made for a perfect evening. The step-by-step guidance allowed us to really connect with the process of painting, and I was thrilled with the piece I created. It felt great to express myself in such a fun environment. Overall, I left feeling inspired and relaxed. I highly recommend this event to anyone looking for a unique day or night out--whether you're a seasoned artist or a complete beginner, you'll have a fantastic time!

Such a fun place to come for an activity!…read more We went early on Saturday which I highly recommend! If you walk in after 11 am, you most likely will be looking at a long wait. However, it's worth it IMO! Weekends are busy and there's generally a wait. However, I opted to paint outside and got seated right away. They have a great selection of items to paint. I picked two jars. They have a variety of supplies that allowed me to bring my vision to life! The number of colors they have to select from is vast too. They have a wide range of brushes and tools, and I appreciated their two sizes of paint pen detail bottles--perfect for writing! Nicky was so helpful and accommodating. He reviewed how the pair a work and the process thoroughly but succinctly. He brought my chosen pieces out to the table since I had my dog with me. It is dog friendly outside! Not sure about inside. Check out was pretty seamless, and Erica did a great job with my checkout! The prices for the pieces are comparable to ones I saw at another similar establishment, which was good to see. If you're looking for a fun activity, check out Paint the Town!
