Three days before his party the Gods smiled upon us. A store opened nearby called..."King Tut". Apparently the name, "Egyptian Gifts For That Kid That Is Really Into Egypt" was already taken. The owner Ashraf gave us an enthusiastic tour of the store, pointing out a variety of things and explaining each in detail. Hand-beaded Egyptian cotton dresses. Beaded headdresses. Custom earrings. Beautiful perfume bottles. Handbags. When we explained the purpose of our visit, he honed in on specifics. He had t-shirts. He had pyramids. He had hookahs - no, scratch that. He had statues of various Gods and Goddesses. Nothing seemed just right. And then came the offer. "I can make him a Khartouche on papyrus. Just give me his name." The birthday boy's name written in hieroglyphs on papyrus, suitable for framing! Hmm. It was too good to be true! This wasn't just a birthday present; it was a soon-to-be treasured possession. It was perfect! We gave Ashraf the boy's name and agreed to pick up the Khartouche that evening. When our young friend opened his gift he was speechless. He knew immediately what it was and what it said. He just held it carefully in his hands and stared. I'm sure it has taken residence in a place of esteem in an 8 year-old's room. BTW-they also do custom jewelry and jewelry repairs. Ashraf and his staff are knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Welcome to Mansfield, success to you!

And I never leave there without feeling satisfied with my readings. And the very last time I was there, she explained to me that not only was a healer, in a sense I could help other people more. She inspired me. I bought my first two sets of tarot cards. I bought a beautiful Wind-chime that I leave on my deck it hangs over my deck gardens. And I also I'm looking forward to taking some Reiki classes here . I'm sure many other classes I'll be interested into. I've also purchased several different stones that I carry with me in my pocketbook to protect me while I'm driving. I also put stones inside my zipped pillowcase to help me sleep and stay protected from darkness.. My favorite thing are my Sage and my cleansing candles alongside my protection spray that she recommended that smells wonderful and alongside my spirit guides protecting me, I do feel like the spray helps.. Every time I walk into Open Doors , I'm greeted with such welcoming individuals. You feel like you're home. They're right there to share stories or help you find what you need. I'm looking forward to going back whenever I can. Thank you so much Open Doors sincerely, Jenny Folco.

AMAZING customer service well above and beyond what you would expect!!…read more A story - bear with me, it's a bit long: I was looking to make a keychain as a guest favor for an annual dinner in honor of my friend, Mikey, who passed. I ordered beads online, but to my dismay, what I got wasn't exactly what I expected. Then: Coronavirus shut everything down. I couldn't just head into a craft store. I couldn't keep guessing online and getting the wrong things. The project was a bust, and fixing it was now indefinitely on hold... I was so disappointed and I was dreading breaking the news to Mikey's mom that the keychains weren't going to be ready. Then I saw an ad on Facebook for BeadCache. They were not only open, but they were willing to chat to help shoppers! I asked if they had a certain size letter bead... they only had smaller than i was looking for. I thanked the girl, Natalie, ready to give up, once again defeated. To my surprise, instead of saying goodbye, she started asking me questions about my project and really got engaged! After every few questions she would send me a pic of things she found arranged in different ways. This girl took the time not only to find me the beads I was looking for, but to make suggestions to add to my project, and even created a sample "finished product" based on what I already had and what she found for me. I was SO thrilled - it was better than I could have come up with on my own, and she made it so easy!! Plus, I got a new customer discount and free shipping to boot! I shared my friend's story with Natalie, and let her know how grateful I was for her help and how IMPORTANT it was to me. This project was about helping Mikey's mom and all of us grieving to get through a tough anniversary together (apart) and to have something to remember him by - it wasn't just some random craft project. She asked about my friend's name, and his birthday... I was impressed that she even cared! A few minutes passed, and then she sent me a photo of beautiful birthstone earrings she had just made and said, "For Mikey's mama, as a gift from BeadCache". At that point I was crying! After all the help she already had given me, this was even MORE thoughtful. When I called with the credit card number to finish the transaction, Natalie was just as caring and kind over the phone, and even she got a little emotional too! Absolutely stellar customer service!! I have never seen a store employee go so above and beyond to help with anything before, ESPECIALLY with something as seemingly unimportant as some beads and spacers. A lot of stores are allowing online ordering during this social distancing time, but the personal shopping over Facebook chat REALLY sets BeadCache apart; and Natalie's creativity, knowledgeability, and compassion really touched me. I cannot recommend this store highly enough and I will 100% be stopping in when they are open again!!

Free street parking and HUGE selection to the point it is a bit overwhelming. The staff is very…read morefriendly, helpful and informative. If you are looking for jewelry making/beading supplies this is the place to go!
