This haunted attraction just between Denton, Texas and Krum Texas is an amazing interactive and immersive haunted attraction. As an enthusiast of haunted houses for 36 years I rate this place in the Top 10 best haunted houses in the country. The line can get pretty long, but they space out the groups sent to their demise in such a way that you do not run into the group ahead of you potentially ruining your individual experience. The Terror begins with a journey across a rickety bridge over a creepy lake where you enter the winding maze of the Parker House and encounter all kinds of creepy characters from the 40's . The front facade of this house is incredible and looks like a real haunted house with a very worn down appearance. It looks quite believable as a place from the 1940's. Once you exit the house you go through another maze and then the terror really amps up as you head into the second graveyard called the Last Stop Cemetary. I don't want to ruin the experience with too many details but believe me when I say the terror amps up as you continue through the experience. Once you leave the cemetary you journey through a tunnel into a heavily wooded trail where creatures lurk around every corner, you just never know when and where something is going to scare you. The trail is definitely top notch when it comes to creepiness. You hear strange things that you don't know if it's actual creatures in the woods or actors. Reality becomes very blurred at this point of the Parker House experience. They also have a Zombie Apocalypse paintball experience as well that is a ton of fun! The Parker House definitely delivers the fear and terror I expect when going through a haunted attraction. The actor's are fantastic and really put a lot into the experience. DO NOT go to the Parker House, ESPECIALLY when it has been raining! I am so upset at the customer service! The workers guided us to our parking area towards the entrance of haunt and it was all muddy. They told us to make sure we don't stop so we don't get stuck. Well, we didn't stop, and we still got stuck in the mud and the workers had no concern at all. They left us stuck to get out by ourselves. We saw them use a designated Parker House SUV to pull a truck out of the mud who was also stuck upon our arrival and we asked them to help pull us out too (we had a hitch on the car as well). They said they had to get traffic out of the streets. Understandable, but at least one out of the three men could have helped pull our car out. We tried using plywood under our tires, pushing, the whole works. At this point, I couldn't sit in the car anymore. I walked up to the front entrance parking (where they started having everyone park due to several cars being stuck in the other lot) and again, nicely asked this gentlemen to help us. He blamed being stuck on us, when he was the one who guided us where to park and then just left us there. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Finally, no thanks to any employees at the Parker House, we got help from others who saw that we were stuck. It took four men to help push our car out of the mud while another was driving. They were covered head to toe in mud. We obviously didn't stay for the attraction. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! read more

WOW! What a place! From start to finish it just gets scarier and scarier! The actors/actresses portray their parts so well, the make-up and effects are unreal and the place is just absolutely fitting for the story. The detail that each room has from the smallest to the biggest rooms are perfect, and the people they put in each spot makes this place one of THE BEST haunted houses in the DFW area. I have been to many other haunted houses over the years and each has something that makes them special and unique, whether it is the story or the props, but this place has too many to count which makes it so alluring to many people! If you have the time and for only $25/person, you can't beat a night of scares and pure adrenaline and heart stopping moments. Went to The Parker House Saturday with a friend, it was the first time in years Ive been able to go to a haunted house and I so loved it. We got the fast pass and so glad we did or we would probably still be waiting to get in. The whole set up was great. The actors did an amazing job and there were plenty of them. There was not a lot of dead spots (as in just nothing happening at all) an if ya came to one well lets just say they may not be as dead as ya think lol. They put on a great show and and there is lots of ummmm things to keep ya on ya toes, it is definitely worth the trip to go, I would make a return trip and do it all over again and recommend this place to others. read more

Had a great time with the exception of the group of ignorant High Schoolers who for whatever reason decided to ruin everyones fun by being completely obnoxious! If you are the parents of these children you should be 100 % ashamed of their behaviors. One of them even decided that they would urinate on a display of the haunt! Ohhh, your sooo clever ! Really???? Beyond them we had a great time! Lots of scares and lots of laughter. The only advisory i offer is to wear comfortable shoes because you do go outside and the ground is unsteady. This Haunted House located in Denton is one of the best I've been to in a long time. The actors/actresses were top notch, the sets are detailed, the effects are some of the best I have seen, and all throughout I was scared, but enjoyed the skits and how they portrayed the story. And since tickets are only 25/person, its money well spent. The details and time that were spent building this haunt makes it one of the best haunted houses in the DFW Area. In my opinion, this is the best haunted house in the DFW area. The actors were very believable, and into their characters. I'm not sure who built the animatronics, but they were amazing. As you make your way through the attraction, there were surprises at almost every turn. The trail was awesome. Loved this place! Went with a huge group of 58 people last weekend, they were very nice and made sure we all had a great time! The actors are cool amd creepy, we spent a little over an hour there. Honestly, the best haunted house my family has ever been to. Sure, we had to wait in line, but we expected that. The wait was actually shorter than other haunts we've visited. The scenes and props were terrifying!!! And we were probably inside the haunt close to a hour. The actors go above and beyond as well. 5 stars! Great haunt!!! read more
