The bread was a roll that I have had many times before at the Masonic Temple downtown where they can't cook anything on site because the kitchens were put in over a century ago and there is no potable water on site. The same exact rolls here should tell you tell you that they aren't kneading any dough on site either. I would rename this restaurant "So Disappointing You'll Pass."

During our visit I picked up some fresh linguine (SO GOOD), some canned tomatoes to make a sauce (for aforementioned pasta), several bars of fancy chocolate, and the most delicious chocolate orange biscotti that I still daydream about. They also carry a variety of premade pasta sauces, fancy olive oils, tinned fish, crackers, cookies, crackers, and much much more. The shop is tucked a bit back from the main downtown drag in Dexter but if you're walking around town it's worth ambling a few blocks over to visit.
