My wife and I had just finished our at home couples massages, and I was in need of a toenail trim. We had dinner reservations at Lake Arrowhead Yacht Club so had to hurry. Lovely Rose sat me in the lounge chair and soaked my feet for a few minutes. She then carefully trimmed my cuticles and toenails. She was quick and did an excellent job, and didn't try to upsell other services, which I appreciated; and the price was quite reasonable. If I could give this salon more stars I would! These ladies came through for me in amazing ways! 3 weeks out from my wedding and I had no one to do my hair and make up for me and my bridal party! These ladies were able to squeeze me in and I could not be more happy with the results! Not only was our hair and makeup gorgeous, but when I started getting nerves halfway through my makeup they did everything they could to help me calm down and be able to get back to it. I usually get my hair done down the hill by two of my long term favs. But being a busy home birth midwife makes it difficult to plan it as I often have to cancel due to births. So when I saw this shop open up so close to my home I was very excited. I did some Yelp review reading and found that Courtney is good with highlights. The shop is clean and fun and they offer beer, wine, and whiskey! Courtney had a good touch and really knows how to do highlights well. She was open to my feedback on how I liked it cut. All the people there were nice. It's not a men's salon, and I think they should change that as it may deter women from going there. It's for everyone read more

Courtney at the Parlour Room was the first stylist I went to after moving up the mountain, and I'm so glad I did. The studio is wonderful, and adjacent to good shops and food options, and Courtney has been wonderful. I'm a tapered guys cut which doesn't make for a necessarily long cut, but it also isn't an easy one to do well. I've had more misses than hits but Courtney has done a perfect job every time. As a guy who's only heard about this place from other women recommending it to my wife, I was apprehensive about getting a haircut here. I usually go to old school barbers who've been cutting hair for 30+ years. But I needed a good haircut for a big wedding I was going to and my wife made the appointment for me. The staff was friendly right away and even offered me a drink. It was only noon and I had stuff to take care of, so I politely declined. My hair was done by Veronica, who came highly recommended. After going over what I wanted, a shampoo and a very light handed cut, I was impressed and very satisfied when I walked out. And for only $30! I would highly recommend the Parlor Room for anyone needing a hair cut. When my wife got her hair done here, she was so happy she was practically in tears. We'll definitely be going back. I was so scared to take the jump but Rebecca was AMAZING!! After a less than stellar encounter with a hair stylist there, I was contacted by the owner so she could make up for a poor experience. She recommended Courtney and I couldn't be happier! Courtney is a true blonde expert, and has dealt with my type of fine, lifeless hair before. She listened to what I was looking for and after she gave me a gorgeous full weave of highlights/lowlights, a fabulous haircut, and beautiful beach waves, my hair was finally transformed into the blonde look of my dreams! Courtney was courteous and thoughtful, and you could tell an all around awesome individual that kicks ass at hair! I've had the pleasure of having Shannon cut and style my hair numerous times now, each of which I have waited way too long as usual, so she always has her work cut out for her. She is a fantastic stylist, so much to the point that I am comfortable saying "just do what think will look good, I trust you". Rave review here for Veronica, who nailed an A-line bob for me. Bobs are very technical cuts and they can be done a thousand different ways, so for a stylist to get my version of the cut done just right on the first try is amazing. Veronica is friendly, focused, and a perfectionist! I highly recommend her. The salon itself is really comfortable and stylish, and the glass of wine at the end of a long week was a very nice touch. We booked a large party to reserve the room for hair and makeup on our wedding day, a Monday in July. After doing a trial with my Fiance this place tried to cancel on her. Still not really sure why. They were not very understanding or helpful during or before the trial. They then after several emails we thought we had resolved all issues but they have stated that they "are now accepting other reservations for our wedding day." This business is very unprofessional and does not understand the terms in their contract. We now are six weeks out and have to look for other vendors because this places unprofessionalism. Please do not book here. We have been told by the owner that she never signed the contract therefore it is not valid even though we gave a deposit and a trial was scheduled. read more
