Called on a Thursday and they quoted on Friday. Same gentleman came back to fix on Monday. Very small job but reasonably priced.

First, we were told that the project would take 3 days. When the project started, the employee said he was not given any information about the project. He brought no tools and asked to borrow our hammer, step stool, ladder, and broom. We explained what needed done, expecting some of the ceiling to be replaced. He said he would be in and out in one day. Once he started tearing out the ceiling it was clear that the project was not 1/4 of the ceiling but 1/2. Even then, he explained he used fast drying materials, etc, and would probably by out in 2 days. We prepared for a 4 day project just in case and scheduled cleaners/movers for later in the week. The project took 7 days. He arrived late, up to 2 hours, did not always tell us when he would/wouldn't be there. He would come for an hour, leave for several and then come back for a short time. My wife asked at some point how long he'd be gone because she needed to run to the store. He said he would be back quickly, was running to Wendy's but showed up two hours later. He was not prepared with equipment, and kept referencing another job he was doing down the street. He was put off when my wife asked him to bring his own broom and step stool as it was clear ours would get ruined in the mess. He later told me my wife was "difficult". Totally unprofessional. We were so frustrated by that point, on day 3 we spoke to the owner, who really did not listen to my concerns, just kept repeating that sometimes jobs take longer than expected. On day one he knew the scope of the work, The painting job was horrible. Several times I pointed out how there was paint from the ceiling on our walls (which didn't match) as well as poor coverage of ceiling paint in the corners of the ceiling. Some of it got fixed but then I had to show him again areas that were messy. Having to tell him and his sidekick how to paint correctly is just unacceptable. He later said he thought I was going to touch up the paint. When reinstalling our ceiling fan they could not figure out why it wasn't working. This is a year old fan that the contractor knew worked when they initially took it down. This was also day 5 and the "ceiling fan guy" could not figure out why the ceiling fan wouldn't work after installation. The painting still looked awful which I communicated to them. They tried to find an electrician, even asking me if I knew of someone. The owner explained the project would be delayed until they could find someone to fix the fan. He also asked me if I could go ahead and pay for the project. I said no, I'd pay when the job was completed. Two days later (Sunday) an electrician came and ended up replacing the receiver and remote, using one that did not have the settings our original one had (three speeds for the fan) so we now have a fan that just works on high, with no way to adjust it. Had we known this was the problem and they were going to go out and buy one we would've paid to have one that matched the fan. Now we've had to repurchase a receiver that matches the fan and have it reinstalled. At the end of the job we were not completely satisfied but needed these people out of our house. They did not clean up completely, left spots of paint on the hardwood floors, construction dust on our baseboards, ruined one of the screens in our window, left drips of paint on our walls, left dirty rags and garbage. Honestly, I don't even think the drywall installation on our ceiling looks great. You can clearly see lines where the drywall was installed. We are happy that our issue is "fixed" and we are safe from our ceiling caving in but we are not happy with the cosmetic flaws and the entire process. We will never use this company again.

William came to our house on a weekend to look at the damage, understand our needs and leverage that against our budget. He came back with a very detailed quote that outlined the scope of work, expectations and costs. William and team acted quickly to remove the drywall, floor, subfloor and insulation impacted by the leak. They sealed off the impacted portions of our house and installed HEPA units to dry out and remove mold from the air. Once the mold was removed CRS got to work on the restoration. They installed a new subfloor, tile floor, new drywall, painted the room and installed new cabinets, countertop and shelving. We had some change requests throughout the course of the project and William updated his quote when required. Pricing was fair and the workmanship was great. We love the final product.

We tried using them for mold remediation in 4 rooms and I called to be put on the schedule and was told 3 times that they would call back later and do so but no one called. I then left four messages to no effect. I went with another company and got the job done in 3 rooms plus the hallway and still had one left. That company charged 9000. The company that finished part of the house was busy so I called CRS back to see if they could do the last room and I explained we had a deadline to get rid of a storage pod that was in the driveway. We told CRS that the complete room would be taken down to the concrete slab and all walls would be removed and everything rebuilt. We showed him the tile we were going to use and he complimented us on it. We thought it was wise to be on friendly terms with the contractor since we wanted a good job so we had to listen to him for 45 minutes telling us about his pumpkin carving contests he has been in in his life, complete with a ton of pictures from his cell phone. We smiled and pretended interested. William assured me that they could start November the 3rd and that he would come out everyday the 1st week and then he was going to be at a pumpkin carving contest the next week but said his foreman was fully capable of finishing the job by the deadline. If we had more time, the previous contractor was going to do the job for 3500 but we went with CRS to our total dissatisfaction whose price was 4700 higher. They changed the start date several times until it was a week later. They did start their set up of equipment on the 10th of November and on the 11th my family had a meeting with our city's building commission because they want the pod taken away or they are fining us 250 a day. I called CRS while I was in the meeting and Susie confirmed they could get the job done in 2 weeks so the city gave us an extension on having the pod. In the contract, just as we had told William during his coming out to give an estimate the tile was to be removed. The contract spells out 127 sq ft. I asked the foreman one day when they were tearing out the tile and he said they ran out of room in the truck that day so it would be the next day. The next day he said they were not touching the tile so I called the secretary and she had to call me back later after she found out the answer and she assured me they were taking the tile up. The next day the foreman said again they would not touch the tile and that the secretary would call me later but she did not. The next day I was told she was going to call but again no call and at the end of the day the foreman said William ans his wife would call me Sunday but that did not happen. We instead hired a guy to tear the tile up for us. When the dry wall was taken down we saw that the mold was only on that which was removed so no other treatment was needed. CRS was supposed to have done a pre mold remediation sample as well as a post mold remediation sample but never did so. They did not sand the frame which we were charged for 393 sq ft nor did they have to apply anti-microbial agent to 520 sq ft, all which they charged for. On the day the drywall was removed I had the insurance agent come. The foreman downplayed the extent of what was done and concentrated on getting insulation added to the bid at the expense of insurance paying for wall and floor removal. In fact CRS communicated so much behind our back to the insurance company that the check will be about half of what it would have been even though CRS's invoice is a lot higher. For lack of space I need to be more brief on the rest. After being told not to use our toilet 3 guys used it in the 90 minutes they were there and some used paper towels and clogged it up. We have spent under 4k to a plumber. CRS raised the price on the flooring and said he charged initially for low grade but the invoice from the start said high grade. When I told him that, he said I was idiotic. The whole conversation he yelled & over talked me. Another day he and his wife screamed at me when I reminded them they also charged for 12 hours of content manipulation which did not happen and he over talked me and said I was not being a man. They took 6 weeks and are not done. Every day they said the time they would show the next day but 9 days they did not come, 3 days they looked at their progress and the other days were only half days. There are several things that they messed up on and they said my brother can do it. The guys never wore a mask and the last week the foreman was deathly ill. He could not walk straight and almost passed out at one point. The contract says they get paid the last day but the job is not done. He not only threatened to sue us and put a lean on our property but he also threatened me with bodily injury. Don't use them.
