She has a calm confident and caring approach that the dogs really respond to in a positive way. I have taken my dog to other groomers that end up telling me that they were unable to trim his nails because "he wouldn't let" them. Shirley had no trouble at all. My dog's nails look great, they are smooth with no jagged edges and he seems more comfortable now. After his grooming, his coat is shiny and silky smooth and he is no longer shedding massive amounts of fur when we pet him. He has never looked and felt this good after being at other groomers. I was informed I would have to wait for them to return. No one else there could help me. I waited outside (their office does not allow anyone to enter the building) for about 15 minutes for groomer to return. Poor client service experience. I do not recommend taking your pet here.
