There are a lot of things to peruse, and plenty of the items trigger various childhood memories. It's like taking a trip down memory lane in some of the rooms. If you are into glassware, dinnerware, glass & ceramic dinner bells and crystal, this is the place to be. I've been here once before and it is a pretty large building with two levels. There is a wide variety of items to choose from. I didn't buy anything this last time but I think the time before I bought a necklace. I usually look for small items because I'm flying back to Austin and can't lug that china set I'd really love to have. In the winter the 2nd level can get pretty chilly so bring a jacket. I visited this weekend (7/28/12) and it was a major disappointment. Most of the mall space has been converted to a bar/restaurant and t-shirt shop. What booths remain contain mostly small items in glass cases. Frank Fritz of American Pickers has a booth there (this weekend it included 3 motorcycles, which were cool to look at but the engine smell lingered). Upstairs included several booths but there wasn't much light to see things, and the items were very disorganized and dirty/dusty. We even saw what appeared to be mouse droppings in another booth. If you were considering traveling a ways to visit this mall, I'd reconsider.
