My daughter and granddaughter had fitting appointments this late afternoon for skates. The two…read moresales gals were super friendly and they knew what they were doing. They tried on several pairs of skates, considered the skaters experience and needs and after a full hour made their solid recommendations. They even helped me "bake" my skates and show me how to firmly lace them up. It was an awesome experience. On my way out of the rink, I stopped by the front desk to observe how hockey skates were being sharpened. The manager cheerfully explained to me the difference between sharpening hockey skates vs. figure skates. My experience at this rink is A+!

Anyways, I talked with my new coach and she suggested Edges and Dreams. When I went online to schedule an appointment the soonest I could get was August 21st. But my coach told me to call them and they were able to get me in two days later. So that was pretty cool. When I arrived Chelsea and Steven were both helping other customers at the rink. The store is small, but I love it. It got a bit busy but as soon as they returned from helping the others they were very prompt in helping the rest of us. I had my heart set on Edea skates and they both tried to help get me the right size Edea. Eventually they said the Edea just might not be the boot for me, even though they could pop the sides out around the toes they were concerned I would not be happy with them. Flashbacks to my younger skating years of wanting Graf's and not being able to get them. They were just too narrow for me in the toes. They also said, one of the reasons my feet were always cramping in my Harlick's was because the toes were too narrow for me. They knew how sad I was, but they handed me a pair of Jackson Skates. The Jackson Evo I think it was. As soon as I put my feet in the skates I fell in love. I honestly kid you not I didn't want to take them off. Chelsea gave me the Elites to try on to see how those fit, but they were tighter and a bit more stiff for what I need right now. Although I was doing doubles when I left skating I know it is going to take me some time to get back there. So they set me up with the Jackson Debut, with a wider toe box. I am in love. Fitting since this will be my return debut! lol Anyways, the fitting process was a bit long, but it was done right, and they were so friendly and really listened to what I wanted and what I was having trouble with. They knew I wanted some sparkles on my skates and they made sure I could get some. I don't have my skates yet, they had to order them, but I honestly can't wait to go back. The shop is adorable, the owners so friendly. It was a great experience. Plus the windows overlook one of the rinks so you can watch skating as you shop. Thanks Stephen and Chelsea for an awesome experience!

I was told they'd get it rebuilt then contact me when it was ready. I didn't hear anything back and when I reached out yesterday that's the first time they tried to fix it saying they could send it off to be done locally. What were they doing the past 6 weeks?? I can't imagine relying on this place to services bike in riding season with any sense of confidence. While they blamed it on Fox for warranty issues, the first they asked about what year it was to see if it was recall eligible was yesterday, so it clearly was sitting there for 6 weeks collecting dust. Tried to keep business at a small shop, but very disappointed. Picked up my bike and will take my business elsewhere.

My board was flying down the hill the other day, and I could hear the edges really digging in to the snow. They are truly "sharp," and the shop even filled in a couple of dings on the bottom of the board. Given the work quality and price point, you can't go wrong here!

They guys both at the boot wall and at the rental counter were both fantastic. I wish I could remember their names but I came in the evening on 12/17 and 12/18. This store is a lot more spacious but has a lot of empty areas. Overall it doesn't have fantastic selection in terms of winter gear in my opinion for like jackets and pants. Now the gentleman that helped me with fitting for my ski boots was amazing and was super helpful in finding me a boot that fit for large calves. I haven't gotten new boots in 6 years so I forgot how this goes but even during the heating and molding process he was great and told me what I needed to do. Even the other guy working there was great in helping the family next to me while they were setting up their daughter with all new gear. The gentleman at the rental counter on 12/17 then the folks on 12/18 were awesome and even though I was planning on picking up my niece's gear Friday they let us take it Thursday night and were super laid back. Awesome staff all around here and everyone seems to really know their stuff!
