They even sang me happy birthday, which was really special. It was an easy trial and honestly, I prefer the trail we did years ago. We went like on the side of a cliff kinda and we could see the stream down below. This trial was just mostly through the woods. Still nice tho. I'm coming back with my nephew. The stable is run by Nicki & Gina. There are additionally tour guides and other volunteers. The ride is now $60 for the 1hr ride. Please call and leave a message to schedule. Give your age, weight (there's a 250lbs capacity & they will weigh you) & riding experience. Beginners are welcome as they give you a tutorial on how to handle & guide the horses. They will call you back to confirm the dates of availability and follow-up via email. Come dressed in pants and closed toe shoes. On the day of your ride.. plan show up 45 mins early. So if your ride is at 12noon, be there by 11:15am at the latest. They don't play about check-in. They will turn you away if you are even a minute late. They only accept cash, there's no ATM. So, please come prepared. Also... when coming up the drive. Go 5mi per hr. Not 10, literally 5mph. They will yell and turn you away if you go faster. They have free roaming animals and the drive is uneven/rocky. Bring water, Your ID & your insurance card for paperwork. You will not be allowed to bring anything on the trial but sunglasses. That includes keys, money, cell phone, water bottle, etc. A guide will take pics during the ride and forward to you after. If you adhere to these rules you'll have a great time. But be mindful, the ladies are STRICT!!

I was very pleasantly surprised how beautiful the cross country course is. Lots of room to gallop, and some friendly, but tall jumps. The dressage rings and Stadium jumping ring were absolutely fabulous, and beautifully cared for. I do wish that they had some more selection for food. A few more healthy options for those who are competing would have been great. Being stabled at The White Barn was initially quite challenging to find, the directions were not super clear. The beer garden is a surefire way to keep non-horse friends and relatives entertained. There's only one bathroom with indoor plumbing in the whole facility. And it's a hike away from where most people are stabled. I would love to come back again.

Justin and Jasmine made sure we stayed hydrated, and regularly brought us into the air conditioning to avoid overheating. They ensured our safety every moment we were there. The rope course was insanely fun, the giant swing and zip line were a blast and our favorite part was honestly the rock climbing! Justin and Jasmine were fantastic - we will definitely come back (preferably not during a heat wave haha) and hope they will be our guides again - every single person today made it memorable for my family! I was impressed with the instructor's credentials and work with kids so it seemed to be a good fit for my needs. Upon my first visit, she greeted me promptly at our lesson time. She introduced herself, pointed out the horses and pony and started instruction immediately. What I liked is that she began the lesson with getting my daughter familiar with the pony, safety, grooming, saddling, picking, etc. The instructor is patient and my daughter is very comfortable around her. It also helps that she's a military brat :). There are a lot of "brats" around these parts and I try to support these business owners when I can. Unlike many facilities, they are closer to areas in eastern Prince William County, a definite plus for those in Woodbridge/Dale City. It is a small stable with 4 horses and 1 pony on the premises from what I've seen. The horses appear healthy and well maintained. The barn is kept clean. I don't know how long my daughter will want to continue horseback riding lessons at her age but she appears to really enjoy them and her time at the stables.
