I got my go to coffee order a hot mocha latte with oatmilk ... I got a large. I also got a chocolate chip scone. I came here again before we headed out back to Denver so I could have a nice warm coffee to go! The service was excellent even while being super busy with lots of locals inside. Service was downright rude. The staff literally made fun of us for ordering almond milk lattes instead of "real coffee" and then served us drinks with burnt espresso that tasted awful. The pastries were fine, but nothing to rave about. I get why tourists stop here, it's probably the first caffeine they've had after sleeping in the woods for a week. But locals? I came here after living in the woods of Wyoming for 4 days and the coffee here brought me back to life. I must have looked pretty scary, but everyone was very nice. It was my first gourmet coffee in days and I treated myself to a large dirty chai latte with oat milk. It was sweet, creamy and had hints of vanilla. I found myself saying "mm" after every sip and it was the perfect driving beverage. Inside is really cute! Cute little coffee house in Dubois. Just passing through but needed a stretch stop. Store had a good selection of coffee, which was good cuz there wasn't much else. Nice seating areas, where several locals were hanging out and shooting the breeze. It was located right on the big bend in the road and there was parking abound. Absolutely incredible little place. While driving from Jackson Hole to South Dakota, we needed a little stop and something to drink. My wife ordered a Chai Latte, I ordered a hot chocolate. The Chai Latte was the best I've ever tasted! (I regret not getting one myself). The young lady that helped us was nice and took very good care of us. We stopped in for a little break. I love coffee, my husband doesn't. They were very accommodating and served him a glass of milk. We also had a bagel with cream cheese and a chocolate muffin. All was very good. And they have WIFI which is very necessary as the cell service was just not working well with our carrier. Stopped on our way out of town to get a coffee and pastry. Unfortunately, they were out of 90% of their pastries (and it was still early in the morning), so we ended up with two blueberry muffins and a blueberry scone. Happily, they were both delicious. The Perch is one of my favorite parts about visiting Dubois! I've never found a Chai Tea that taste as good as theirs does! The staff is always so sweet and welcoming. We had breakfast burritos that were a super tasty blend of bacon, egg and cheese, with a smattering of hash brown and onion that lent a good flavor without being overpowering. We love good coffee and this place delivered. I was extra happy to see that they also have breakfast burrito. I got my standard latte with oat milk and I love it. The oat milk they use has good taste without extra sweetness which make it nice. The burrito is really good too. The price is a bit steep but I guess it's post-Covid and everything is more expensive especially in a smaller town. read more

There is very little to choose from in Dubois, so I am sure this little outlet will stay open. Everything is from a mix-- chai, frappes, etc. As one of only four places for breakfast, I would expect a little more for their $3.49 breakfast burrito (the frozen one that is microwaved for $1.29 at the gas station down the road). In her defense, the sweet operator told us about this downfall as we ordered. Add a single daily FRESH breakfast option (make a pan of fresh muffins and sell for $2.49 each??) and this place would be charming. Or go to 2moms bakery and resell? read more

We drove through Dubois on the way to Grand Teton National Park two weeks ago. Most stores were closed at 5 pm. We saw two people in the coffee house, so we thought maybe we could get some small snacks before it was too late. It turned out that the place was closing, but the guy who worked there opened the store again just for us! We got a coffee and some pastries and they were delicious! He didn't even charge us coffee because it was the end of the batch. We asked him if there was any good place for dinner near the area. The guy was super super nice and friendly and he gave us great suggestions! He even called the restaurant to make sure if it was still open for us! Wonderful new owners as of June 2016. Baked goods are now from the local Mountain Ledge Bakery. No sandwiches other than breakfast sandwiches. Serene atmosphere. Friendly service. Free Wi-Fi. Plentiful plug-ins to recharge. Small bookshelf with resource materials. As others have mentioned, even if they are closing, if they can accommodate you they will. A very good coffee shop. I had the iced latte which was fantastic. Easily one of the better iced lattes I've ever had. They only have the basic coffee products, such as espresso, lattes, cappuccinos, and frappucinos. From the outside, this place doesn't look like much but it turned out to be a pleasant surprise.
