I have continued once weekly sessions here for 7 months since my previous review (December 2016). My workout consists of 10 machine exercises done once a week with one on one instructor assistance. Each workout takes only 20-30 minutes since the goal for each exercise is to perform 3 full reps while reaching muscle failure in 1-2 minutes time, while maintaining proper form. The reps are performed very slowly on both the positive and negative phases. The cost for me is $235/month. With recent help from instructor Charissa I have been able to break out of 6-7 weeks of stalled progress and gain additional strength. For example since December my leg press has increased from 333 to 403 lbs. This is the real advantage of the Perfect Workout over conventional solo weight training. Without the individual focus provided by the instructor it is unlikely that you would make steady strength gains over long periods of time while maintaining proper form and avoiding injury. They also provide great advice on nutrition, rest, and the other exercise that I do outside of PW. read more

OMG! I love this place!! My sister in law introduced me to this place and it is incredible! I have always loved fitness, but I hated how much time I had to spend at the gym. I did my first workout with Charissa and knew that this was for me. I had not been pushing myself like she pushes me at all! This workout is super intense and you definitely can't do it half-heartedly, but it is amazing. I have 3 kids, so I don't have hours to spend at the gym and this 20 minutes twice a week is serious business. I'm hooked. I also did my homework on the company itself and am super impressed. Charissa is the Facility Manager and she always raves about how awesome her company is, and now I want to work there. I'm trying to get my foot in the door now. Apparently they only hire 1% of applicants so I'm nervous, but I really like this place. I definitely recommend The Perfect Workout! read more

I can honestly say the Perfect Workout has greatly improved my life. I am in my second year of remission as a breast cancer survivor. I can only attend once a week, but what amazing results. Alexa and the team have worked diligently with me to increase my strength, stability, confidence & improve my overall health. I am now much stronger & my balance has greatly improved. I have been able to lower my cholesterol by 22 points, strengthen my bone density & lower my blood pressure. I have been a member of "The Perfect Workout - Clear Lake" for approx 3 mos. and I have been totally satisfied with this routine. I am a 67 year old male and this routine has resulted in an overall improvement in muscle size, tone, strength, and cardio fitness. I give credit to the routine itself, but even more important is the coaching of the two trainers I have had to make sure the machines are set properly for me, including the appropriate weight. They also are very motivating and have managed to get the most effort possible from me. I had my first workout with Charissa and it was great! Really really intense, but I can definitely see why they call it "The Perfect Workout". I was in and out of there in under 20 minutes and my legs were wobbling down the stairs. The facility is really clean and cool, the staff was super friendly and the workout was tough. Sometimes it was hard to go as slow as I was suppose to, but I can totally feel the difference from how I use to workout to how she trained me. I highly recommend The Perfect Workout. They offer complimentary sessions to learn what they practice before you even sign up. Personal training is the way to go!! read more

This place is awesome. The workout out is hardcore, but just what you need to make 20 minutes twice a week all you have to do. I heard about this place from my ex wife, and had to check it out. She works there now and I didn't agree with her at first, but now that I've tried it, I'm sold. It really is a perfect workout. They have some really great trainers that push you to what they call muscle failure. It just means that you can't move anymore. I didn't have a lot of time to spend going to the gym and was just too tired after work so 20x2 sounded perfect for me. I'm glad she found this place. read more

The Perfect Workout is an excellent training exercise program. A recent visit to the doctor for an annual check-up revealed a noticeable change in my cardiovascular system. My high blood pressure level dropped more than 30 points and my overall endurance is greater compared to last year's level. I am building muscle strength and losing body fat. The program works! At the age of 63 I have had many gym memberships, jogged, did yoga, did boot camp... but this by far is the BEST workout my body has ever gotten. I am never sore from my workout, I never sweat and I love that it is only about a 15 - 20 min workout for me currently! I began going twice weekly and now will be graduating to ONCE a week!!
