They respected that they were nervous and allowed them to approach on their own terms. Even bring with them a small cloth to leave with the pups to get used to their sent. I received pictures with every visit and even a little text describing how they were doing which definitely eased my mind being away. They were quick to address an allergy issue that one of my dogs was having and even applied medication without any extra charge. It was great to come home to the notes taken from their visits. All-in-all, I will be using their service again.

The good: I was impressed with owner Susan's responsiveness during my initial call. She was friendly, helpful, and walked me through the process. Our meet‑and‑greet was scheduled a couple of weeks out, and the sitter we met was friendly and someone I felt comfortable with. Where things fell short: During our first three‑night trip, I was surprised to see a different person in our home for almost every visit -- four sitters total, only one of whom we had met. This was never communicated to us, and the rotating sitters did not seem familiar with our home or our dogs. Additionally, the time between the evening and morning visits was consistently 12-13 hours, which is longer than we were comfortable with (and documented in their portal notes). Our second and third bookings were short and uneventful, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, our most recent experience was not positive. Our dogs were not walked for the first two days because the assigned sitter reported they were "too sick" to walk them. I'm unsure why someone unable to perform basic duties was sent to our home. When I contacted Susan, she did not recognize my name, address, or dogs, despite having personally cared for them on a previous visit. She did step in to take over the remaining visits, which I appreciated. However, on Sunday -- the day before our return -- she called to say there had been an accident in the house and that it was "messy." She preferred to leave it to "solidify" because it would be easier to clean later. I strongly disagreed and directed her to the cleaning supplies. She was argumentative but said she would return to clean it. We arrived home the next day around 2 p.m. to find feces throughout the house, clearly from the prior morning. It was crusted, smelled like a kennel, and had been tracked everywhere by the dogs. This was despite three additional visits after the accident occurred. Since returning home, I have attempted multiple times to reconnect with Susan to discuss what happened. Communication has been minimal, and the responses I have received have been excuses rather than accountability. Bottom line: This is marketed as a premium service, but our experience did not reflect that. Between the lack of communication, rotating sitters, long gaps between visits, and the unacceptable handling of the most recent incident, the service has not been worth the cost, the stress, or the cleanup afterward. I hope this feedback helps others make an informed decision.

So, I began to look for dog walk services or even doggie daycare. I found Kenny online on FB after seeing some recommendations and reached out to him. My dogs just got back from their hike and I am excited to book my next one! = BACKGROUND = I have 2 dogs, terrier mixes that are on the smaller side. I never took them hiking before (cause my body is not ready) and we go to the dog park once every 2 months. They both aren't to socialized so they tend to bark at other dogs and always pull on the leash. = KENNY = Is such a great and personable guy! He came to my house the day of to meet my dogs and answer any questions I might have. He drove 45 minutes to get to me, which I was very grateful for and surprised since I thought I would have to drive to him. My dogs loved him and he made sure to answer any questions I had. = DOG HIKE DETAILS = + Kenny will pick up and drop off your furry best friend! Which is perfect for those of us who work full time, super easy. + Pricing is SUPER AFFORDABLE. I looked at another website which cost at least $30 more and they didn't provide pick up or drop off! + You can either leave your door unlocked or give him your key. + Kenny takes SO MANY videos along the way, make sure to follow him on snapchat to see what adventures they went on! I saved all the videos by recording them. + He makes sure to give them lots of water and treats as well. = AFTERMATH= I was so surprised by how friendly my dogs were to the other dogs, and I'm sure they were super excited to be going on a new adventure. For dogs who only leave the house to go on their usual 3-mile walk, this hike must have been amazing for them. When I got home, they were all tuckered out - that's a sign of a job well done. Thanks Kenny!

My dog is skittish and nervous, but also a baby and hyper (chiweenie much?) she needs to run at least 30 min a day with me. So I turned to Yelp and reached out for various quotes. Enter Team Rexitron Kenny and Zoe replied to me within 2 minutes-record time!! So I called Kenny and he gave me a quote over the phone with very little notice. We set up a time to meet and they are a young and sweet couple. Their service was a great value for a full day of hiking and socializing. Our dog needs vigorous exercise and she was exhausted from the hike which is great for her temperament. They also include photos and Snapchat's of the dog, if you're into the social media stuff. Overall, I was very satisfied with the care they gave our dog and their flexibility with schedules, etc. Great work and thank you for your service, Kenny.

In one occasion, she stopped by to check on Rocky and I do not know until know what is what she found out, that she had to fired Rogers. I messaged her from abroad, and she only told me that she had arrived, and found my dog in a bad condition, and she just said " I think that guy is nuts", I asked her what happened, and she did not want me to worry about; she continue to say... I am sorry, however, I had to ask your dog sitter to leave; Rocky is not doing well, I will be taking care of Rocky now. She took my dog to the vet. We were about to return from our trip. When we finally got home, Rocky was still not feeling well; his rear was very sore, inflamed; he was very stressed out, he looked sad; very different than the way he usually was. I asked my sister what is what she found out when she came by the house to check on my dog, and she just told me, "I do not want you to stress out more, however, I think that guys is nuts, do not hire him again". I never found out what is what she saw, or in what condition she found my dog? The pet sitter was staying over- night at my house; so I have no idea what went on. My dog never recovered, his personality was drastically changed, he looked sad and afraid; he was not longer the happy playful dog. I was devastated and feeling guilty that I hired some one else to take care of him. My sister was the one who usually took care of my dog every time we went out, however, this time I did not want to bother her, and decided to hire a pet sitter. Totally regret it!

He was courteous, took copious notes on Dexter's care, and I felt really comfortable having him watch Dexter while I was away. His pricing is very reasonable, and he even sent me a few photos of my little guy throughout the trip to let me know he was okay. Just a few hours prior I had been in contact with both the owner and our walker to let them know of a schedule change for the week and nothing was said. A few days prior our walker met my husband who was at home for the day and said nothing about cancelling our service. We were told that our 13lb maltese is an 'aggressive' dog. His aggression is in the form of hiding from the dog walker and growling from under the basement couch. While he was actually physically aggressive twice, nothing had happened recently nor were we told of anything recently at all other than the fact that the walker hadn't even seen the maltese in days. If you want a dog walker who understands that all dogs, particularly rescue dogs who lived on the street for over a year, are different, then Playful Paws is not for you. Before working with them, we were struggling with his intense fear-based aggression--lunging, snarling, and snapping at strangers, even after repeated introductions. It was heartbreaking because, at home, he was a loving and well-mannered companion, but out in the world, his anxiety made everyday activities stressful and unpredictable. After spending six weeks with Manny and Kelsey, Marcus has made an unbelievable turnaround. He is now able to be in public without lunging, growling, or reacting aggressively. He is calmer, more confident, and better equipped to handle new experiences without fear. While we never expected him to become a completely different dog, he has truly become the best version of himself--happier, more at ease, and able to meet life's challenges in a way we never thought possible. The team at Humble Paws didn't just train Marcus; they understood him, worked with his needs, and gave him (and us) the tools to succeed. Their patience, expertise, and dedication have been life-changing, and we are forever grateful for the progress they've helped him achieve. If you're struggling with a reactive dog and wondering if there's hope--there is. We wholeheartedly recommend Humble Paws!
