Communication was great and the design team who made the template design executed my request. The only reason I took 1 star away was because my wife noticed the photo attendant wasn't really friendly. I don't doubt it because even from the first initial contact I made with him I felt he just wanted to set up and leave (which he did after explaining how the Photobooth works). Anyhow, I still tipped him even though all he did was set up then bounced and just came back to pack up. Overall I would probably use this company again for my future event. I love having photobooths at my birthdays because I'm so bad at taking pictures and I always want a way to remember it. I had decided at the last minute to throw a party for myself and it was cutting it close in booking a company. The company I had previously booked for my birthday was already booked and my second choice was booked too. However, I reached out to The PhotoBooth Guy and they were so prompt AND had availability. The whole process was SO good. They give you a link to make your profile and set everything up online. You can get custom work done for your templates, but you can also pick something from a huge selection. You also get different options if you wanted an open air option or an enclosed inflatable LED option, which is a first come, first serve and your choice of backdrops. Premium backdrops were an additional cost. They had several packages to choose from as well, so I went with the 2 hour premium package, which included a USB of all the pictures and GIFs that people could email, as well as unlimited prints. During the week leading up to my party, I had someone named Cyliro text me to ask about my template and he was so nice and patient with what I wanted. Chris was my point guy on the night and he was already set up for my party before I even got there. He had a table set up for accessories and everything. Be sure to remember to tip your photo attendant. You had the option to tip on your card online through your profile, but I tipped Chris in person. The photos turned out great and I absolutely loved how Cyliro was able to capture what I wanted for my template. Everyone loved the photobooth and photos and my friends were still talking about my party and the photos weeks later. Overall, my entire experience with The PhotoBooth Guy was AMAZING. From start to finish. I can't stress how impressed I was with the communication with everyone from the company. I highly recommend going with them. This review is so hard for me as I'm a strong advocate for small businesses, but unfortunately I'm hoping this will be somewhat of a wake up call for The PBG Company. I had use this company several months ago for my husbands 50th birthday celebration and was extremely satisfied with their services, so naturally I reached out again for my daughters 16TH birthday this past weekend. I upgraded my package with the 360 and the mirror me selfie. They gave me a great deal, but that's where the great service ended. I had to ask for my customer design several days before my daughters party, and they said they were backed up and would get back to me. The design they gave me was somewhat disappointing but I didn't want to complain as it's just a design and went along with it. Andrew told me during our negotiations that they had worked at the restaurant before so I was so excited because I felt they had it all dialed in and I didn't have to worry about logistics. The day of the event. The attendant calls me asking where to set up. The party begins at 6 pm. As probably many of you know when planning a party things like this should be asked and answered or dealt with way before hand. Not the day of, right before the party. The party begins and they don't even have the correct birthday photo design. The attendants are on their phone. The 360 is not working. They didn't have the WiFi password but all that should have been handled before. An hour goes by. The manager of the photobooth comes by and tries to fix the situation saying they will stay an extra hour but the party ends at the time the contract was made so no real deal for me. The whole party, the 2 attendants were not very engaging and on their phones. I was just really surprised and disappointed by the lack of customer service. It was an important milestone birthday for my daughter and I just wanted everything to be seamless and it wasn't. read more
