Where they beat the other local party rental places in that they keep the cost of delivery low and they carry the "chiavari" gold chairs at a good price. Great prices, but the downside is they don't call you when they are going to deliver, so consider it a window of time of when they will arrive. The day after the party, they arrived bright and early so wear nice pajamas to bed if your not an early riser, because they might be knocking at your door at 8:00 a.m. to pick up their items. Staff is only going to do the minimum as they were instructed, so if you want to to set up your tables, you will have to tip them well or pay the company extra for that. read more

After calling many party rental places in my area with not much success, I came across Marky's Party Rentals. Tony was amazing! I asked him three initial questions; "Do you have gold chiavari chairs?", "Do you work with smaller events?", and "Can you accommodate us on short notice?". He said yes to all with only TWO days prior to my dinner! Tony was sooo helpful, so friendly and very professional. Did I mention their communication is great?! Not only was I able to reach him directly on his phone but also via text! Texting is my personal preference for less chances of misunderstandings and helps so to not leave out any details. His staff was great as well. Jonathan, who was helping him out for my event, was enthusiastic and very sweet over the phone. Prices were VERY reasonable. They went above and beyond when a few little hiccups would spring up (like a missing chiavari chair). They drove all the way to another location to pick up the chair and drove all the way back. I mean, come on! That's incredible. There was also a need for a last minute linen color change, which Tony texted me about in the morning, but was minor (at least to me) and was sorted out efficiently. In all honestly, I think it turned out better! As far as time of arrival, due to the linen situation, it did get pushed back some but is totally understandable. I know how hard it is now a days to find places or services that are all about customer service AND a job well done. This is why I believe not only in posting reviews when the experience warrants them but also keeping them honest and as helpful as possible. My experience with Marky's was definitely worth a review. Number one. They were rude and were not accommodating. I needed to rent tables and chairs and I could barely get the info I needed. When they arrived the day of the event we left plenty of room for them to go through the house because the side was blocked. The man who arrived told us we can't do that. Well what do you do for events that take place indoors? Number two. They delivered DIRTY tables. As you can see below there was frosting leftover from an old event. Number three. They were late with the pick up. They told us they were coming between 9-12the next day to pick up. They texted me at 12:30 that they were on the way. Definitely would not recommend to others. I picked the time of availability for the equipment drop off time and they showed up on time and professional. The tables , chairs , canopy and the jumper I rented were in excellent condition. I decided while they were setting up that I wanted to go with adding lights and it was no problem to have them installed last minute. The next day the equipment was picked up at the appointed time. They brought everything in, set it up and even rented a last-minute heater. The only hiccup, the heater wouldn't stay lit, we texted and they sent someone out to get it working during the event. Everything went well until pickup time came around. I was told that they would be picking up the stuff in the morning. I asked the person if it happens that we need to go out can we leave the stuff on the side of the house? He said yes that would be fine. 3pm came around and they still hadn't picked up the stuff yet. I texted the person in charge to let me know when he picks up the stuff because we had just left our house. He said please put it inside. I told him we where told it was ok to leave it out. He replied well you signed the contract so basically I'm responsible if anything happens to the stuff. This was very inconvenient for us. We where told the stuff would be picked up in the morning which we where home all morning and they never showed up. We tried to make things convenient for them and this is how they pay us back. I hate writing negative reviews, especially when it's a small business, but I am very unhappy. I text them about 30 minutes AFTER they were supposed to drop off table Linens & tables, only to find out that they were not on their way at all and did not think to call and notify me that there was some sort of emergency. When they finally sorted things out and showed up an hour and 30 minutes late, (30 minutes after my party started), I asked him if he still expected me to pay full price since it was a huge inconvenience to me, and he sure did. He only discounted the delivery charge of $10, which I do not think is enough considering I couldn't decorate my tables on time and I had to have my guests help me put the linens on since they were all seated at the tables. read more

Horrible and rude customer service! First they miss quoted me and jack up the price for an additional $10 for delivery. I didn't think much of it and just accept whatever cost it is. Then when arranging the drop off, Jonathan advise that they will drop off the tables and chairs at 10am. Called them at 10:10am, no answer. Then they text me saying someone will come around 15mins. They didn't delivery till 10:40am. We didn't even get mad for the late delivery or for them throwing us off schedule, as we understand people have a business to run and sometimes things happen. Then the same day after the baby shower was over. We give Jonathan a courtesy call to ask if they wanted to pick up the tables and chairs as no one will be here the next day till 6pm. Jonathan, text back and said they will send some at 6pm to pick up. My husband and I, waited till 7:15pm no show or no phone call as to when someone will come, or be late. My family and I was getting hungry as I am pregnant and couldn't wait any longer. Around 7:17 pm, Jonathan text me saying some will be at my house another 30mins later. They expected us to wait till 8pm, as our life revolve around their business. I kindly text back saying, I just got to a restaurant as I didn't get a call from anyone or hear from anyone. I advise, that I will call them after we have dinner. Then Jonathan text back saying that I have to stick to my words about me telling them to come anytime after 6pm when the text message clearly say They will pick up at 6pm. And saying that I should stick to my schedule & words, when they are the one who constantly ran late. He immediately called me and demand that I leave the restaurant and not have dinner go back for them to pick up their chairs and tables. I got upset and told them that they cannot operate a business like that as it's very unprofessional. He constantly keep texting during dinner trying to cause problem with his customer. My husband advice me to just ignore him and just let him know to pick up when we were on the way home or to pick up tomorrow at 6pm. Tomorrow came around, Jonathan & Anthony/Tony (father) showed up at 6pm to pick up their tables and chairs. I didn't make anything of it until. Jonathon who look like a 19 yrs old boy came into my backyard and demand to speak with me fixing his cap, demanding for some respect. The verbiage along with body language was like some kind of gangster. As if he was ready to fight a pregnant woman. I advice them to get their crap and get the hell out of my property. We were nice enough to not have thrown there tables and chairs to the curb and tell them to pick up any time. We respected their belonging and work around their schedule. Don't rent white table cloths and napkins from this company. Stains and hems were torn. For the price I paid, every piece should have been top notch. I won't be using again. Only reason I clicked one star was because Yelp wouldn't allow a review without clicking at least 1. I appreciated the constant communication regarding invoices, as to what time they will arrive and when they are in route. The last event we put on they arrived early to set up they were patient when they noticed the space we needed was being occupied.
