I like the Farmers Market in East Liberty for the fact that they are indoors and have been operating since July of 1941. They are one of the oldest continuous open markets in Western Pennsylvania. They are only open on a Saturday, from 5 am- noon, and open all year around. They have a website you can visit for more information on all the vendors and market information. With the paint job replicating the facade of a diner, this food truck truly attracted attention from the crowds with long lines for the entire market. But the delicious food options kept them coming back too. We ordered a Guinness Pattymelt Foldover with a side of Spiral Fries. The foldover was such an intriguing option - not gonna lie - it is not something you hear of everyday. The homemade sourdough shell acted like a giant taco and it was packed with beef, caramelized onions, and cheese. To go along with it, you get some housemade chips, slaw, and pickles! The spiral fries looked too good to pass up! They reminded me of local festivals with that soft, fresh potato and a perfect crispy crunch! The ticket time was a little slow, but this tagteam duo did a great job of keeping people aware of the progress and bringing tons of smiles to the crowd!!

Every now and then, we get some crabcakes from Herky's, and today was one of those days…read more Herky's isn't a restaurant, but rather a supplier of pre-made, ready-to-eat seafood products, their specialty being crab and lobster cakes. You can buy them regardless of whether or not you own a business or restaurant. I like the Deviled Crab best. Yeaaaahhh, Deviled Crabs. They seem to be a controversial treat. Some look down upon them as supermarket deli fodder. Crabcake lovers also seem to want a cake with as much crab as humanly possible and a minute amount of breading. However, keep in mind that I find my mom's crabcakes to be the absolute zenith, and she uses claw meat as opposed to Jumbo Lump, making for a flaky delight, especially with that remoulade she makes. Mmmmm... I dunno, I like my crabcakes a little "cakey" as Chef Michael Lomonaco of "Epicurious" once put it in a pre-fame appearance on an episode of "Great Chefs" (the GREATEST cooking show EVER!) where he made his "21" Crabcakes. Youtube it (yes, they're all on youtube now to watch whenever you want!). Classic installment. And that's a Herky's Deviled Crab. Cakey. And I like 'em like that. Hey, they ain't burgers where you must taste meat and nothing but meat, y'know? Make a call or go online, place an order, and get you and your pals some demons of the deep. I think they're pretty darn pleasing. Note: You don't have to buy them frozen. Each time we've ever gotten them, they were thawed and placed in a bakery box, complete with the oil stains on the sides. They're even good cold or at room temperature, but it's best to put them in the broiler.

Their signature flavors include ingredients such as sausage and pickles. Drinks include dragonfruit lemonade, sodas, waters. They also sell chicken tenders. My husband and I were customers here one time. I wanted a lemonade, but he said that the price of several dollars was too high, so he instead purchased just a bottled water for $2. The employees' service was fine. Maybe someday I will try their actual foods and drinks!

Open since the summer of 2025, you can grab your dole whip or indulge in some of their fresh scooped premium ice creams!! My wife was craving some dole whip - so she grabbed a Peach and Vanilla swirl! It was so good- as close as you can get to the real deal! I had to go for a fun flavor of ice cream, so I ordered a scoop of Belgian Daydream! No knock to the shop, as they just buy the ice cream - but it was very pasty and the Belgian waffle bites chewed like bubblegum.... So I'll just stick to Dole Whip next time!!! The customer service is top notch and the prices were very friendly! We grabbed ice cream for three for only $13.50! They have plenty of seating inside to enjoy your treats and even a few table outside if you want to challenge the summer heat to a melt off!

This food truck was a light blue color with two workers and served cinnamon rolls, pretzels and hot chocolate. My wife and I ended up ordering a pretzel with cheese and then a cinnamon bun for ourselves as well as another one which I ended up giving my mom for Mother's Day. The pretzel itself was $8 but it was one of those massive ones that you see at stadiums and came with a small side of cheese sauce. It ended up being nicely cooked and the outside of it had good texture while the inside was nice and soft. The outside of it did not have too much salt and both my wife and I enjoyed dipping it into the cheese sauce. Our cinnamon bun was similarly good as we enjoyed the pecan topping as well and the frosting and cinnamon flavor to it. The bun itself had a nice and soft consistency to it which made eating it quite nice. My mom also said she enjoyed the cinnamon bun which was nice to hear! The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. Clearly this food truck isn't going to provide you with a full meal, but it certainly does have some fun stuff to snack on.

They are super nice, calm, professional and have a great unique product for the area. We try to find them wherever they are! The chimney cake itself is delicious - cooked just right every time with the perfect amount of sweetness. It pulls apart and makes it easier to eat. The cinnamon sugar (the OG recipe) is a classic and you can't go wrong there but then they generally offer 1-2 season flavors in rotation on their menu for each event. Some of our seasonal favorites include: salted caramel, lemon sugar, pumpkin spice. You can usually choose a free drizzle or leave plain. Get there early if you want to secure one as they generally sell out! Such a unique concept and they are doing everything right! Check them out!
