This is my go to place when i am in the mood for shopping. Everything is always on sale. A lot of restaurants to choose from across the street. And then the water and the lighthouse and the pier when u walk a little bit further. The only thing i dont like about the outlet is its hard to find parking on the weekends! PERFECT FOR NEW YEARS. Went here for New Years 2012 to watch fireworks and ring in the new year. I must admit, this is an awesome place to watch these luminous firecrackers shoot up to the sky. If you arrive early, you can even find a cozy spot overlooking the water (d'awww how romantic)! Just make sure to bring a cozy blanket (YAAS, it can get cold in So Cal), some food, and maybe a special someone (orrrr pet)?! *hint hint*... and you're all set!! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to walk around the Pike at its entirety, but I LOOOOOVE what they did with the place! They have this modernized bridge which overlooks the water. You can probably take your significant other here to gawk at the amazing view and probably snag a kiss or two from them *wink wink*. Parked valet since there was no other parking option near Gladstones and PH Chang's. Had a nice dinner. Went to pay for the valet at 10:28 pm; received my car at 10:50 pm! The female at the desk Javiera was rude, just takes your money then tries to take the next customers money. Doesn't want any questions, just wants you to wait for your car and not bother her. "the wait is 25 minutes minimum" didn't even look up. You get charged $10 for someone else to park your car then wait 30 minutes to get it back?!?! The $10 would have be worth parking myself and paying a machine to get my car back right away with no attitude. read more

Had a pleasant experience here today! Then again, it was a random Wednesday early afternoon. But anyway, this place seems pretty great especially cuz it's so new (very clean). I hope they can keep it this way as it becomes busier. So far they have your basic shopping needs: Nike store, H&M, F21, Cotton-On, Converse. There's also the Cinemark movie theatre. Ask store employees to validate your parking stub if you park in the Pike parking structure. Shopping stores validate for 2 free hours and I think the movies validates for longer. Otherwise, the structure is free for the first 30min then charges you much more after the first hour. I will say that the bathrooms are located in a weird, far off place. It's by the Ferris wheel & carousel.. But you have to walk behind stuff and it's like hidden almost. Would be sketchy at night I think lol. read more

This is one of those spots to hangout out in the Long Beach area with family and friends. There's plenty of things to do here from eating a yummy dessert, to shopping or catching a movie at the Cinemark. There is a parking lot right next to the outlet stores so parking will never be an issue. You can get your parking validated for up to two hours if you make a purchase at any store here. Otherwise, you'll have to pay a small fee for parking depending on how much time you spend here. During the holidays there is an ice skating rink here so it's a spot worth checking out if you haven't done so yet. read more

Oh the pike. What can I say about you? From running around here during the LB Grand Prix, viewing the sunset from across the bridge, to riding the Ferris wheel in my high school days. I've had my share of good laughs and fun here! With it's close proximity to the Aquarium of the Pacific and Queen Mary, this is a great place to stop and have a good meal. Why not stop by Island's or have a fun night at Sgt. Pepper's or the Auld Dubliner? If you cross the bridge, there's Mai Tai Bar and bubba gumps as well as a ton of other pretty good restaurants! Even though the restaurant list is a bit small, this is still a good place to go after a long day! The ocean is gorgeous from here and there's lots to see! The downside? Parking is not free! Great assortment of shopping here geared towards tourists. Nike for shoes Gap, H&M, F21 for clothing Restoration Hardware has a beautiful space here Odds/ends (Starbucks, Creamstone) etc Hope they bring in more stores! The setup of the area is done beautifully, whoever designed this spot did it with open space and sustainability in mind. Easy access right across from the marina/waterfront and easily accessible by foot, public transportation, and the Passport (free bus) has a pick-up and drop-off across the street. read more

Love walking here during my lunch time. Nice view of almost everything and more store opening soon at this outlet. Can't wait till summer won't need to go anywhere far for clothes shopping. I have enjoyed heading over to The Pike to take in a $1 movie for my toddler. During the summer Cinemark has a special for kids' movies. Can't beat a dollar movie right? Then had lunch at Hooters for some wings, fries and a cocktail or two. Then walked it out over to the Marina for some fresh air and sights. So convenient! I really love coming to long beach and actually staying in the hotels in the area because of the outlets! Just this past weekend I was here for the Halloween festivities and it just so happened that there was an additional piece of clothing that I needed. My hotel literally 20 footsteps from all the shops! Now I needed H&M and thankfully they had one here. Now I won't name all of the shops but just know that they have a nice small collection! There is always the Ferris Wheel that's going along with other activities! I really love that you can even grab a movie during your visit here as well. You know like a one stop shop kind of deal. Restaurants across the street, bars, and then walk over for some ice cream and a movie! Why not?! Avoid like the plague. The center has been going down hill since it opened years ago and most major shops left long ago as well. Recently they started a "redevelopment" and have spent $63M renovating. On what I have no idea. Other then bringing no chain shops in and turning the whole mall into a "discount outlet" it looks exactly the same. That's not just me as others who have gone there have said the same to be unprompted. The renovation also REMOVED parking and all that's left is a structure at the very end. Not central to anything. On the occasions we have tried it the parking validation wouldn't work at the vendors and as the structure is automated You have to find the parking office. They won't take vendor receipts as proof of violation either. Unheard of with any other validated shopping center I've ever been. You end up paying FULL ticket. Heaven forbid you goto the Cinemark theater and try and get your parking validated at the last showing. They just ignore you, or laugh in your face. And I don't just mean one or two people but much of the staff. Must be the theater manager likes to mess with customers and the employees see his example and do likewise. They couldn't get this mall to work years ago and after spending $63M (on what?) it's just been labeled new and improved but like that label really says we change some minor stuff just to sucker you in to trying us AGAIN. read more

So. The Pike. Or, to be more specific, the bowling lanes and arcade at the Pike. It's a great place to have a fun time so long as you play by THEIR rules. This inherently imposes a bit of a challenge considering they have two full bars (with ace white russians, by the way) and too many rules. And so the inevitable happens a couple of hours later later: Our friend Critter (he is successful and drives a classic Porsche or whatever so people think it's okay to call him that even though he is like thirty five) tells me we've been asked to leave. But why? I ask innocently, looking up at the big burly security guard. And then, without warning or waiting for an answer, I promptly turn on my heel and proceed to run far, far away from him. Logically, I figure that the guard isn't going to bother chasing some scrawny girl through this huge arcade if he already has the culprits standing right there in front of him. Also, honestly, I just don't want to do what he's telling us to do. So there I am, white russian in hand on a Friday night, running away from this big man through this huge arcade and bowling alley with all of this over-the-top machinery buzzing and shifting and lights blinking everywhere. Some minutes pass and I look down when it occurs to me: I shall have to get meself another drink. So I come out to see if anybody is still at the place where we were confronted. All of my friends and the security guard are still standing EXACTLY where they are, just looking at me. At this point, they're actually just having a conversation with one another, waiting for me. As we leave the building, I tell the guard to "Get bent, turkey neck!" to which he laughs maniacally. That's cool by me. read more

Honestly I think this place isn't too bad. I would say it's like a very small version of Irvine Spectrum and it doesn't have even nearly that many shops and stores but it's super cheap here! The stores include: H&M, forever 21, GAP, Nike, Cotton On, and etc. There's a movie theatre here that has REALLY nice lounge chairs and that was super impressive. The place is nice because it's right by shoreline village and it's such a touristy spot! Great to bring friends or have a date night. Definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to take a study break, catch Pokémon (for all those Pokémon GO lovers) and etc. read more

Decent mall. Pretty well kept. Not much variety. In my opinion it's best if you are looking for specific things and you know they're there.

Took a nice walk around here after dinner. They offer a harbor cruise which seemed interesting. Nice views and a nice collection of restaurants. The tequila bar was a little pricey though. But after you've walked the whole thing, well I felt like there should be more. Nice place to work off your dinner with a nice stroll. read more

3.5 stars. I came here for the Toyota Long Beach Grand Prix races so it was pretty cool. The scenery is nice and there are plenty of eateries around. The movie theatre and bowling alley, and the various bars make for a nice meetup place. But I can see this place getting old fairly quickly if you live around here. read more

I like this outdoor shopping mall. Yet this is really not an "outlets" shopping center. You can find most on season items in theses stores with no marked down prices, and some of them don't have special discounts. I found myself feeling disappointed after purchasing working outfits ended up costing me more than online (same brand) prices. The name "Outlets" seems a little misleading. Other than that, this place is definitely very nice and relaxing. There is a ferris wheel which is very kids friendly (not too high). Also it's in walking distance to shoreline village. I'd take my friends here for shopping. I mean, how can you beat the offer of shopping with ocean view?! read more

This Levi's store always provides good customer service but last night was a little different. We met a sales associate by the name of Andres, he helped us get the perfect Father's Day gift. He suggested we get the 514s for him and I should get jeans for myself (which I did) . He was super friendly, I left the store with a smile! Recommend them. read more

There's honestly not a lot of "outlets" here. The main stores are Nike, H&M and forever 21. There a more stores than these but those three are the biggest stores. There's also some food options here as well such as islands and cold stones. read more

The Ghost Town at Rainbow Harbor should be its new name because almost every store had closed. My God, it was depressing visiting this place. Almost every store/restaurant I wanted to visit was closed or had gone out of business! Hooters is being re-modeled. Sgt Pepper's Café is going through some health codes. The arcade structure closed down due to, "reasons beyond their control." I wanted to spend a nice afternoon in Long Beach only to realize the only places open is the Aquarium of the Pacific and Bubba Gump's Shrimp! Miraculously, Borders was still open though it might as well have been closed since that place was also deserted with minimal customers. It was like a scene from the Twilight Zone, I kid you not. I plan on visiting this structure in the summer once more; hopefully by then they would have gotten their act together. Until then, if you want to strut around naked in an empty facility, this is the place to be because no one will notice you. read more

Love going to the movies maybe even grabbing a bite and just walking around, especially at night it's super pretty

I was working an event down in Long Beach, right next to these outlets which I wasn't even fully aware of. I knew there were some stores there but didn't realize that it's actually a nice, new, outdoor plaza of shops. I can't speak to the parking situation because I was able to park for free because of the event I was working...there is a large parking structure right next to the shops, but I believe you have to pay to park and I'm not sure how much it is (it was $20 when I was there but I believe that was due to the event that was taking place). There's not a ton of stores, but they are new and nice, and it's a pretty place to walk around. read more

This place is great! I kind of prefer it over citadel based on design and attractions. I was stoked to see Cotton:on here! The views are amazing and it's not too far from Shoreline Village and other attractions. I like how there are more restaurants here than at Citadel. I love seeing the Ferris wheel . read more

The place is great but the parking is shady and just wrong. Horrible! Awful! Rip off! It costs a fortune and I had to wait 25 minutes for my car even though there were no other customers waiting near me! Nobody! Then when he finally brought my car up, he gets out of the car and exclaims, " Man that's the most comfortable car I ever sat in!". And he had the radio blasting rap music but didn't even bother to turn it off before I got in. Unbelievably horrible service. read more

We stayed at the Hyatt Regency across the street from The Pike and had a fantastic view of the harbor and Queen Mary from our room. The Pike is an area of large restaurants, a Cinemark Theater, Comedy Club, Piano Car, Irish Pub, Ferris Wheel and shops next to the harbor. We highly recommend the Cinemark Theater which has very low prices and reclining lounge chairs. Extremely comfortable way to see a movie! We enjoyed the Islands Restaurant for great burgers, drinks and surfing videos. The outlet stores are currently being built although most stores are open. One night we went to Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que for the Burnt Ends Brisket and the Chopped Smoked Pork. Both excellent ! Expect a long wait at dinner time. During the day, you can catch boats that will take you to the Queen Mary or around the harbor. There is also a boat that takes passengers up and down the coast and makes stops. It's fun to walk around the area next to The Pike at night for beautiful harbor views. Good views of the Queen Mary, lighthouse and hundreds of small boats. There is parking both at the harbor as well as across the street from the Cinemark Theater on Pine Street. read more

The Pike has definitely upgraded from when it first opened. They made it into more of a shopping center now. It has Nike, F21, & even a H&M. Good selection of stores to choose from if you want to go for a little shopping. Parking structure is provided & they do validate for 2 hours I believe. read more

However, it still gets three stars for being a safe place to walk at night in Long Beach... Walk through the bridge! It looks nice with all the lights. Unfortunately the ferris wheel closes at 8! I've always liked coming to the Pike! It's a nice play to walk around after a good meal at any of the many locations here (which are all pretty good), go to the movies, or even go to the Aquarium of the Pacific which is also a great place to visit! It's honestly a really nice place to spend an afternoon at - although there aren't many shops to look around in. It's usually dead during the early hours of the day and even in the afternoon during the week so it'll be a little deserted if you decide to visit then. read more

This area is pretty awesome aside from a few sketchy folks and homeless begging for money. Don't get me wrong I have sympathy but honestly don't enjoy getting asked for money every five minutes while trying to enjoy a nice walk along the harbor. There is a lot to offer here from their outlet area, to restaurants to cute rainbow harbor with little shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a few little boat cruises offered, whale watching and the Catalina express to the island. You are also right near the Aquarium only the Pacific. I really enjoyed the beautiful green grass and walk around their little lighthouse. If recommend a little visit here on a nice sunny day. If you park in the structure don't forget your ticket to pay in their machines before exiting. read more
