I took the regular Barre class and it was a really solid 45 minute workout. The instructor gave plenty of tips if you wanted to make it harder or needed to modify. I was using Gympass through my employer so the sign up was super easy through the Gympass app. The only thing I noted is the actual barre didn't feel super sturdy, it might be nice to have ones actually fixed to the wall. Anyone that might feel this wouldn't be a great would be sorely mistaken, as I am very sore today!

The people who work here are so nice! Unlike a business like Pure Barre or Cardio Barre, this facility isn't confined to just one style of barre workout and each day/time is different. I'm a student so I love that I can just change into my special sticky socks, instead of having to lug sneakers around all day. You can buy the socks there if you don't have them already. They offer classes around noon and 5pm which works great with my schedule. They have water there too. The place is also really cute; nicely decorated with a cool ceiling and lights. The classes are small so you always get personal attention from the instructor. The instructors have great tastes in music too! The classes are impossibly hard (oh the burn!!!) but they make it fun. Their online system to sign up for classes is really convenient too, I don't think they have a smart phone app though. My legs already feel stronger after 4 classes. Only downsides are that I wish they had permanent barres, like the ones drilled into the wall. They have portable ones which aren't always the sturdiest. Also I wish they had some of those hand sanitizer things attached to the walls and more tissue boxes (in the winter) to encourage good hygiene. I also thought they should have little towels that people can use to wipe sweat off and drop in a laundry basket when they're done, like most gyms, oh and foam rollers to stretch with would be an added plus! (This might just be the California in me talking) UPDATE: They now have small white sterilized towels you can use and toss in a basket when the class is over (definitely needed in those intense cardio barre classes) and a big Costco sized thing of hand sanitizer! Yay!

The main issue I've had is unsanitary behavior.in the men's locker room. Despite all the signs about washing before getting in the hot tub or cold plunge and wearing proper swim attire, guys (particularly under 25 yo crowd) will routinely use the sauna or steam room, and then hop right in the hot tub or cold plunge with nothing but underwear. Even worse, they throw their underwear in the swim suit water extractor. The locker rooms often smell like sewage. I've even been swimming laps only to see a bunch of high school or early college aged males jumping in the pool with only underwear... there were little kids at the pool! I spoke up that time, and they actually were surprised saying they had done it multiple times. Staff has been informed but does not enforce. The response I've received is, "it's above my pay grade." Upper level management and female staff seem to care more about this, but nothing has been done that actually fixes the issue. Apart from this it would be a 4/5 rating overall.

I bought 20 classes to use within a year but immediately became pregnant and had complications that wouldn't allow me to work out. Paired with a difficult recovery I missed basically the entire year. I was given 2 months to take my classes which was entirely impossible for my family's schedule and 9 of my classes expired on me. If you know you can without a doubt use them, great. In extenuating circumstances you aren't met with much empathy and I was extremely disappointed.

As weird as it sounds, sometimes yoga is kind of stressful: tons of people in precarious poses, trying to keep their balance while still trying to track of the teacher's movements and directions. Joy's classes are the exact opposite. The atmosphere is super calm from the moment you walk in and everyone is friendly and welcoming. Joy leads a very smooth and calm practice. She's also great about suggesting modifications to meet your needs (such as an injury or isolated weakness). I like that every class is dedicated to a different part of the body and I walk out feeling challenged but relaxed. I highly recommend Yoga Reflections for beginners and regular practitioners!

The program is great. This location is unreliable. You cannot get anyone to answer the phone or…read morecall you back. Because of their unreliability, their customer service is terrible. They are usually "nice", but they make excuses for their lack of reliability and they have difficulty answering questions regarding membership fees and cancellations of their program. They are never looking to do the right thing even if it simply means doing what they can to refund your $10 for the month that they can't explain a charge for. I finally asked them to remove my credit card information and they terminated my account. So if you do not live locally, do not join. Cancelling is a nightmare.
