No camp fires nor charcoal fires. 2 inside fireplaces and you can't use them. No trash dumpers anywhere around. Corners of cabin can see daylight. Mice are plenty with large hole around a/c lines. Ants everywhere We stayed three days over $500.00. No wildlife of any kind except squirrels 61.00+ plus in hotel tax's. County. City. Charge per person. Per car every day. Nothing to do no water in lakes. No fishing. Park ranger stuck ticket on windshield because I was reading the cabin and they're on there no lights at all. The bathrooms are super small is not that clean cracks through the corners of the outside you know that tree right there where we sat I think that's where they're hanging out because that's where the other one is. He's down that tree

Stayed in the deluxe cabin with my family this weekend…read more Very nice hotel-like accommodations. Great location close to downtown Bastrop which worked out perfectly since the Patriotic Festival was this weekend. From the top of the hill near the entrance you had a good view of the fireworks. Since we had grilled and just started eating when the 1st fireworks began, we watched from the cabin. Aside from the highway, we could see the whole show from the side. The owners, the Kitays, are super friendly and knowledgeable. The campgrounds are well-kept and clean. There are all options of camping available. We checked out the pool and splashpad which my 5-year-old enjoyed. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Now everyone knows what we had to deal with apparently. We were illegally evicted through text…read moremessage, and then told our power would be cut off in three days. While we were gone-our house was entered without our permission. The house we lived in? A health hazard to begin with-unfinished, unsanitary and uninhabitable -and then it was blamed on us. The walls were exposed insulation that had simply been painted. The ceiling dripped with dirty condensation because there were no vents. The shower had no lip and the water just hit the concrete floor and spread about the house. Orange water and orange toenails and orange colored bark on trees. We had no idea. We were fooled by a narcissist old man-who told us from the very beginning "I am either your best friend or your worst enemy" what a shit show. I mean he also said he "used to get geese drunk and throw them off of cliffs for science" Epic!

CAUTION RENTERS! Have lived at the park for over a year…read more When I moved in the park was wonderful, we would all get together and play games. We all chipped in and helped the owner remodel his home, mow and take care of the lawn and watched the place when they were gone on their own trips. It was a nice place to call home since most of the residents are retired. For the last 8 months I watched him harass, belittle, cuss and threaten the older and female tenants and the ones he no longer liked. When I tried to talk to him about needing compassion when people come to him about the smelly septic or not having ANY water pressure, his attitude was, they can go F&&K themselves. I tried to stay neutral with him and told him I was concerned about being in the middle and that I agreed with the tenants and asked him to make it right and apologize ... he refused calling them names. I tried to calm folks down hoping all this would pass and get better as I grew to really like these folks and thought it was worth trying to help but I guess that pissed him off and he sent me an eviction notice along with two of the original renters, would have been three but they just moved to a friends to get away... see their post in google. To sum it up..the owner is unstable, has a very vindictive and childish nature and a coward ! I wouldn't recommend this park, I could not be sure your person or property would be safe from this lunatic. Ed reminds me of a high school bully who lifts himself up at others expense to make himself feel better. Picking on women is a good example of a small man! When confronted he lies and blames others! As I mentioned, accountability and just a little compassion goes a long way when folks have no water or it smells like a sewer dump ...and yet everyone was trying to be patient and help. If you like loud profanity , and in general disrespect for other people this has become the place, Every current resident is leaving or being evicted. No way an entire 6 spot Rv park that all say the same thing is just sour grapes or a singular point of view. I feel bad for the retired on a fixed income original renters he made so many promises too and have helped him so much and is evicting them for reporting problems. As he put it " whining pieces of s... In my opinion these folks deserved much better! I wish everyone leaving this horrible place finds a friendlier place to call home. Even though Ed won't apologize I am truly sorry for what you all have had to put up with. Move out day was just more cowardly actions on his part from a far since police had to come out twice over his childish behavior over the previous two days. It looks nice but what's hiding at the renter office is a lying childish coward. Such a shame and waste.
