We asked the **thrilled** employee working there what she would recommend. She suggest butterscotch (didn't elaborate further). She didn't have the best personality, but she got the job done. I ordered ice cream in a cup and the friend ordered a pineapple milkshake. The portion of ice cream was unfathomable. It was probably equal to a WHOLE carton of ice cream. So much so that I had to dump out majority of it in the parking lot of some government building (sorry!!). Friend liked the shake, but mentioned that it had hints of lactaid. I was done with the ice cream in under 10 minutes after it dripped everywhere. They do no offer toppings for the plain soft serve whatsoever. So who in their right mind can just eat mounds of straight vanilla?!?! My Diet Coke made up for the ice cream however I had only about two sips of it because of how much ice they put in it. Anyways, maybe it was a case of not ordering the right thing, or not getting fantastic service, or maybe this place is just overrated.

It would seem to be someone associated with the creamery who decided it was a good idea to completely validate my experience as being an honest report stating that the employee closed up early to go home before the storm, of course this employee nor the responder considered that they did not bother to admit that their competition just a few doors down that DID NOT and received my business that night nor did this person or employee consider that a simple note on the door explaining the situation would have been an appropriate response BUT felt it most appropriate to inform me that there was "NO NEED to leave a one star review." I noted there were 4-5 other ONE STAR REVIEWS further noted here and was curious if they were also informed that there "ONE STAR REVIEWS" were "not needed". I reread my review and it was not offensive in any way and their response validated my experience so rather than attempt to obtain a potential customer's business, this obvious owner or manager elected to chastise me for daring to leave a honest, respectful customer experience. As someone who worked service industry and lower level management waitressing tables to pay my way through college and medical school to become a physician, I find this type of attitude both baffling, insulting, rude and very much "not needed". I not only wish that YELP would make it easier for others to read this response to my review and whether the 5 OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS received the same type of feedback. I have not thought of EPIC CREAMERY or my experience or to attempt to return and MOST CERTAINLY at this point am quite glad and will continue to do so as EPIC CREAMERY has clearly expressed that they have "NO NEED" for business. What a puzzling business strategy to express in this economic climate and even more discouraging behavior to model to young employees.
