I can't bring myself to even give this place 1 star! This was the worst experience in dog grooming I've ever experienced. I brought in my beautiful long haired Pomeranian to have her legs trimmed up, her foot fur trimmed, nails trimmed and a little trim around her backside. I told the woman when I dropped her off what I wanted and that I wanted her hair to remain long. Well apparently she had some knots in her fur but this groomer(or so she calls herself a groomer) doesn't use a brush to brush them out, she uses scissors ( like a 3 year old) and a shaver! She completely butchered my dog! She placed a scrunchy type band around her neck when I picked her up to cover the horrible chopping she did to my dogs neck! I called when I got home and she immediately began yelling back at me, completely unprofessional and then hung up on me. So unless you want your dog to look like a butchered mess I would stay away from this place! I just picked up my two Cockopoos from their haircuts. I was charged $75 for each haircut. As they were only at The Pink Poodle for two hours, they each only received one hour of attention. This charge was outrageous! I asked them why the charge was so high. They said it was because they hadn't been in for awhile. And they were right, I had tried a new place, but I came back. My dogs were not excessively long, their hair was not matted and they were not dirty. I was charged excessively as I had simply used a different groomer in between going to the Pink Poodle. I have always been happy with a pink poodle until I went recently and none of them were wearing masks. As it is still unproven whether or not animals can transmit the Covid virus I think this is very unprofessional and risky for them to not wear masks around our pets. read more

Will not be going back brought 2 puppies for nail trimming and all their nails were bleeding. The lady said that it's alright and that it happens all the time and I do not think that is in a professional manner. You shouldn't be confident to say that trimming my puppies nails are normal to bleed and it was not a little bit of blood. About 75% of the nails she cut were all bleeding. Do not recommend for anyone . read more

We have been going here for almost 5 years and go every month! We have a poodle mix and he always looks forward to getting groomed. They have always been very reliable and do whatever they could to accommodate him and our schedule. We tried 2 other places before we found them and they do the best job! read more

My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Diana since the 90's. She groomed our cock-a-poo until passing in 2009 at 17 years old. Since we are such dog lovers and couldn't wait, about 10 days later we got our current bichon-poo girl of 9 years and she's been going to Diana since she was a few months old. Now we also have 2 1/2 year old twin girl bichon-poos, and they have been going to Pink Poodle since they were a few months old as well. When we get them in the car the three of them cannot wait to get groomed! They look so gorgeous when they are all clean, fresh and beautiful. When we first get home after their grooming they love running outside together and all 3 are very playful and happy together . We feel that Diana and her employees always go above and beyond every time we come in and enjoy taking care of our little girls. They also call and give a friendly reminder of our appointment a day before. My husband and I really do appreciate all the hard work they do. We are always thrilled and excited when we pick up our girls and know that they were loved and cared for properly. Thank You So Much Diana & China! They are flexible with the schedule and treat Snowball with love and care. I moved to New Jersey from PA and prefer only The Pink Poodle for him as Snowball looks forward to meet caring and loving people of The Pink Poodle. I had a terrible experience here. Our dog came home from his appointment with his nails completely butchered. Most of them were jagged and unevenly cut, but several of them had been cut too short and were bleeding - one of his dew claws had been cut almost in half! There was no mention of any issues when he was picked up. When I called the groomer to talk about this, I was told that "it just happens sometimes". I understand that sometimes you accidentally hit the quick when cutting, but that is not what happened here. The fact that they think it is acceptable to do this is just appalling. We will not be going here again. Update: We just discovered that they may have also cut his neck while grooming him. We didn't notice until now because he had been coned all weekend to stop him from licking his feet and the cone covered up the cut. There is a patch on his neck where the fur is completely gone and his skin was raw and has dried blood on it. Again, no mention of any issues when he was picked up. Please do not take your animals here! read more

DO NOT GO HERE! Showed up to pick up my golden retriever to find out they shaved him by accident!! When I dropped him off I said a light trim on his feathers and paws and to not touch the body. I asked how long they said about 2.5 hours. So 4 hours went by and I called to check in. First of all they didn't know my dog's name, I had to explain he was a golden retriever. I then overhear the woman ask how long until he was done because they hadn't even started on him! When I got a call an hour later that he was ready to be picked up they told me it was going to be an extra $20 because he was very difficult to groom. He has never been difficult at the groomers but being there 5 hours can really make a dog distraught. Then when I picked him up they said they had made a mistake and mis-read the card and shaved him by accident. I was in complete shock and so upset. I have never shaved my goldens, and goldens are not meant to be shaved. Not only is my dog shaved but he has scabs all over his back from being shaved roughly. I can't pet his back without him flinching from pain. He is still not his normal self and seems traumatized from the whole experience. read more

Run far away from this place!! Where do I begin? So upon arrival I immediately notice that this place has just anybody working here.as I am waiting to be acknowledged I can't help but notice different "groomers" being introduced to each other "this is my niece, she comes in on some weekends to help," I heard someone say. I was also told that the owner was not present. I asked if vaccination records were needed for my dog, who was grooming there for the first time, I was told "oh no we don't do that here" that was a red flag. I went against my better judgment and left my pup there to be groomed. They called me 2 hours later and said that they were sending my pup home Ungroomed. When I asked why I was told that he was a little jumpy and that they recommended me getting him sedated In order for him to get a full grooming. I was mortified! He's a 6 pound shih tuz!!! I asked did he bite her or try to bite her she told me no he did not. "I honestly think it's going to be very difficult for you to find a groomer that wont abuse him, were her exact words. The ONLY reason I even considered this place is because on thier website it says they work very close to the humane Society, In preparing dogs for adoption. Being that my pup has never been to a groomer before I assumed they would know how to handle a 6 pound pup jumping around a little out of fear or distress. I scheduled an appointment with a different groomer and they groomed my pup with no problem. The new groomer said "He was a lil jumpy as all first timers are but this little guy definitely does not need any sedation. " read more
