Delicious, filling dinner. The hummus is the super creamy kind that's impossible to find at the grocery store. The babaganouj is also super tasty. Wow! How have I not been here before now? I was in the neighborhood and wanted to eat something that's not fried and after seeing the photos of the food from other yelpers, I decided to stop in. Greek is my favorite kind of food so as I was on my way to the nail salon and saw the Pita Stop Express, I knew I had to try it! They have a pick up window for convenience! You just have to call in ahead to place your order. I had the specialty hummus with gyro added. I also got the rolled grape leaves and the babaghanouj (smoked eggplant dip). I really liked the hummus with gyro. The stuffed grape leaves weren't the same as what I'm used to, with the lemon flavor and oily, but there were still pretty decent. The babaghanouj was amazing and packed with flavor. I got a generous amount of pita bread to go with the appetizers. I will be ordering more from this establishment for sure! read more

We have been here a few times in the past with friends and I do not remember anything being remarkable about this place. I guess I got the wrong thing. I had the Kafta Kabob Plate this time and it was outstanding. We visited here with my aunts family and we really enjoyed it. The service was great. The atmosphere was lively. They do have patio seating. Everything was fresh and tasty. The rice was well cooked so it was almost creamy. The greek dressing on the salads was good. We were immediately greeted by our waiter who took our drink orders that he promptly brought to us. He took our order for both an appetizer platter and our meals. Unfortunately, the meals were brought out to us only 2 minutes after he had brought our appetizer platter. Very disappointing and annoying. So we had to shift to eating our meals while they were hot. I had their salmon platter and it was delicious. However, my wife had their amberjack was extremely dry and not well seasoned. That' was a shame because that was her first time to try amberjack. We ended up taking our barely eaten appetizer platter home with us. Thankfully, our waiter did provide us with additional fresh pita bread triangles for us to take home. Was here for lunch today with friends. Food was good. Waiter was good. As we stand up to leave I see a woman with a DOG SITTING IN THE BOOTH WITH HER. My friend who loves dogs commented on the Chinese Crested dog that was sitting next to the woman in the booth. Inside the restaurant. Not on a patio but in the dining room. It was a special treat FOR THE DOGS BIRTHDAY! She's hand feeding the dog from a plate on the table while this exchange goes on. I would not have been calm if I said anything. This was my first time going to The Pita Stop Express, and my experience was great overall! I ordered the Chicken Shawarma (under the Roll Ups part of the menu). The taste of the shawarma was pretty good, but I cannot say it is the best shawarma I have ever had. The sizing of the shawarma was also smaller for $14 compared to other places I have been to. The fries that I got as a side were delicious and seasoned well. My server was awesome and the wait time to get the food was pretty fast for a Saturday night. They made it wrong on purpose because I asked for only meat taziki and feta and it would have turned out to be thin an too noticeable how they cut their meat portion by over 50%. I have frequented Pita Stop for 20 years and regulars know everyone is cutting produce vs raising prices. The quality of the food was good. It was fresh. The cost of their fruit slices that come in the meal should be cut first as there are few that eat it. Cutting the meat from the mail meal is too noticeable. These tactics are causing many to eat out less. You never get the portion size you are supposed too anymore. It is an epidemic. read more
