Let me first say that I usually LOVE Tazikis! My go to food is the veggie gyro with pasta salad and rice. I decided to try a salad and mix it up. I got the Mediterranean salad and added lamb. The lamb was in three small pieces and very tough/chewy. I have had lamb at plenty other places and this is not the texture of lamb. The dressing for the salad was very small and was barely enough to cover the salad. The lettuce and veggies on the salad itself were fresh and tasty. I think more feta needed to be put on a salad of that size, but that's just my personal opinion. It came with only one pita chip. I could have swore when I was reading the description of the menu it said you got three pita chips? Either way, was a little disappointed. I did eat the salad, but none of the lamb after the first bite because it was hard to chew. My boyfriend got a lamb gyro and his lamb was shredded and said it was very good! May be they use different types on salads vs gyros? Next time I'll stick to my usual. Also think there should be more than Splenda sweetener options at the beverage station. I'm not the kind of person who normally writes reviews for poor service, but I felt the need to today. went in around 1:15 with my girlfriend to get some lunch, placed our order for 2 of their signature pasta salads, that we normally love. we got a table, sat and drank our drinks. when I had to get my first refill, that's when I noticed how long it was taking. in the time we waited, I saw countless people who ordered after us, and takeout orders come out well before we heard anything. my girlfriend eventually went up to the lady who took our order and the only thing she was able to tell us was that "it should be out soon" it was then 2:05, 50 minutes after we had arrived, before we got our plates of pasta salad. to make it even worse, when the person dropped our food off at the table, there was a FLY floating around in my pasta. i will never come to this location again, and Tazikis itself will be lucky to ever get our business in the future. absolutely ridiculous. read more

Good thing about this place is when you order pick up it's on time. It was 12 noon and they were not late with it. However, you get only 2 olives in your salad, one tiny pita piece, maybe 2 tablespoons of feta cheese and if you're unlucky like me a piece of hair. Of course they let you select extra onions, feta, olives, etc.., racking up the price. The most popular dish, the salmon with a salad, is the most popular because the salmon is done really well ! That's what I ordered. Still, because of the skimpy additives to the salad, no utensils or napkins and the piece of hair, I wouldn't go again. $17 for salmon with salad and a small side. For the side, I got the green vegetables and they were very tasty. But hair in the food is a big no-no for me. read more

When they're on, they're good, but someone in management has got to do better. The dining room is typically dirty, the bathroom is typically dirty, and when I had to stop the employee from taking my unfinished food last Monday at lunch, she got upset. A rep reached out to apologize, but it's a bit hollow. I really hope they get their act together. Taziki used to be a reliable place for lunch. read more

Wait time was 30 minutes for food and many menu items were out shortly after opening because of a "large catering order." If you are going to offer dine in, you need to be prepared to accommodate normal traffic. Once it arrived the food was not up to regular Taziki's standard. read more

Ordered pickup online. For the 2nd time in a row the grilled shrimp were overcooked to a crisp! This time one of our sides was missing and another side was also overcooked. We are very disappointed. This has been one of my favorite places to go for a quick meal that was also tasty and healthy. Not sure if I will be going back. read more

We eat here often, and everyone is always friendly and helpful. If anything ever goes wrong, management is quick to fix it and/or take care of the issue. Today the food was even more exceptional than usual, and we just had to complement Taziki's on a job well done! read more

Tried to call for a take out order tonight, they immediately answered and said hold on-I waited 10 minutes and they never came back and answered. I tried to order online and that did not work either. I went in and stood in line. When I got up to order-I asked them why they didn't answer-he said they were busy and just did not answer the phone. Took an hour and a half to get my food. After an hour(30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready), I asked where it was, they didn't even have a ticket for jt. Then they print out a new ticket and put it at the back of the line. I had to wait another 30 minutes because they were just now starting my order. What did management say? Nothing, couldn't tell you if the manager was the 16 year old guy or the 40 year old nerdy looking guy.. the cashier was nice enough but obviously didn't make the decisions and the manager whoever they are is either so unaware how their restaurant is underperforming or does not care. Love this chain. Every time we visit Birmingham we eat here a couple of times and take chicken soup back to Houston. We bay several and freeze. That's how good the chicken soup is. Always seem to have to ask about my order 30-35 min after order. People that come in 15 min after me get their food first. Couple behind me that ordered in nearly finished food before I get my order. CANCEL CULTURE! BEWARE! DISCRIMINATION! NATS flying around and landing in food. Generally unclean. Tables piled up with dishes all over the place and extremely sticky tables, like the varnish was coming off, but they won't do anything about it. Put it this way, I would wipe the table off with wipes and they were always brown and looked extremely nasty. Hateful employees! I caught NICK (cashier) and Kira (shift leader) talking about me behind my back with other employees when I approached the counter and asked for the missing items they didn't include in my order that I had asked Nick for at the table, that he never brought back. Management is even worse! We had an incident that occurred and Matt (GM) was extremely hateful and displayed aggressive behavior. If you order online, do not go inside and wait by the online order shelf for your food because they apparently do not bring it out and put it on the shelf like the directions say that they will when you make the order. After waiting 20 minutes patiently for my food at the shelf as directed by the email and by the signage when you walked in the store, I walked to the counter and asked where my order was and they had it the whole time behind the counter with no explanation.
