    Gyro chicken bowl

Tried out the pita Stroller at Foxtival at Ashley Ridge High School Fox Ridge farm. Gyro bowl was so good. The pita bread was tasty and the perfect temperature. The chicken in the bowl was amazing. Food was ready in a timely manner. This is definitely a food truck I will seek out in the future.

Last night, The Pita Stroller was in Grand Oaks, and so we decided not to cook and support a local business. Three out of four of us ordered the chicken shawarma pita. For $10, this pita was LOADED with tasty chicken, lettuce, tomato, and sauce. The pita was soft and amazingly good, and held the juices in without getting too saturated. I don't know how I are this entire pita, but somehow I managed. A fork was needed towards the end to get the scraps that had fallen out. My daughter ordered one of their "vegan" options, which was a french fry pita. It was LOADED with french fries, lettuce, tomato, and sauce. It looked really good, and she ate the majority of it, while my son helped her with the fries that slipped out. Overall, we were very satisfied and I'd order from them again and again.

Definitely the best food truck pita we've had down South! It was huge and delicious! The Gyro consisted of a ton of tender sliced lamb, wicked fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and a little red onion, the pita was perfectly grilled and then it was topped with the right amount of tzatziki sauce. We also got the Dolmas, (stuffed grape leaves) and those were also legit! They reminded me of a Greek restaurant I'd frequent up North. Everything else cooking smelled amazing! We really wanted to try the "Cod Father (fish and chips) but I am bougie when it comes to French Fries. I personally like hand cut, but the worst to me is crinkle cut, and that's what they served, so my husband and I just got the same order! We had a friend who also had just gotten takeout and she text me mid meal saying how amazing hers was too! If they come back to the hood I'd definitely order the same again!

Absolutely love love love this restaurant. Great food, great atmosphere, fun location…read more Parking can get tough during busy times but that's pretty typical for any great place. We have gone during their Paella Sunday & Oyster Roast events and spent beautiful late afternoons outside with friends. They offer a great variety of wine to pair with the food. We got to experience a few different wine tastings. These might have moved offside with their second location but were fun and educational. Thursday Burrito special is a great way to explore their different offering. And almost always there is enough for.the next day.

We made a reservation, but ordered at the counter. We ordered a handful of dishes to share. The girl was very helpful and giving us a separate gluten-free menu that allowed us to order for my husband. This place is a Latin/Asian infusion so we were very excited to see how the flavors played out since it is two of our favorite types of food. The best thing I had was the special, stir fried udon noodles with the steak. The noodles were perfectly cooked, the chili spice on it was amazing and it wasn't overly sauced. The steak that accompanied it was also delicious. The tomato cucumber salad was fresh, but could've used a little more salt in my opinion. The bao bun and tacos were also nice and great portions. I would say for me I didn't love the pad Thai in comparison to the many that I've had before, because it was a bit different in flavor profiles than what I'm used to. I wanted a little bit more of the fish sauce and tamarin flavor. You have to get their milkshakes, I'm sure all of them are great. But the one we have was absolutely decadent and delicious! We had more than enough food, and ended up taking a lot of it home. They were multiple people helping us, and they were all very nice and friendly. I'm coming back for the udon noodle dish!

I'm generously giving Food Box 2 stars…read more I have to give it to Food Box- they made the trek out to Bees Ferry Rd, which is pretty rare for a food truck (most seem to cancel at the last minute). When I saw the truck of the week was Food Box, I made a point to go (especially after seeing their menu on Facebook). I hung out a bit better placing my order, as the food truck was still setting up and not ready to cook yet. I ordered a a black bean burger ($6) for myself and a schnitzel sandwich with fries ($10) for my husband. I felt like was a fair price. Only a few other people were around, so I figured it wouldn't be long for my food. 7-8 minutes after ordering, the staff came to me and said they forgot to bring the black bean burgers on the truck, so he couldn't make my order. All of the other items were burgers or pork. I'd already placed my husband's order and didn't want him to not have food, so I waited around for his and just left hungry. At least the staff refunded me my money for the black bean burger they didn't have. I really hate leaving negative reviews, but I waited 15 minutes on a menu item that they didn't have. I do hope I can give them a second chance and update this review.

Tonight I had the honey chicken, the crispy texture was perfect with the honey flavor. They were so good! I thought they would be small servings, but these were nice size pieces of boneless chicken on a soft bun (think King's Hawaiian). For $9 we had a delicious chicken slammie with fries. The fries were delicious too, thick perfectly fried, and salted, boy these went well with out beer. So glad we the Food Box was here, and we look forward to checking out more items when we find them around town.
