Although it was spicy as in flavorful, not necessarily spicy in terms of heat, and I love spicy hot food, I still enjoyed the flavor. My biggest complaint with the meat and my side (dirty rice) was that they were far too salty. It left that feeling on my tongue that you get when you eat too many potato chips. Fortunately, my boyfriend got the fries as his side, and they were beautifully crispy. If you order food from here, I recommend the fries over the rice. The meat in his gyro (lamb/beef combo) was not over salted, so I would also recommend that over the meatballs. Everything seemed fresh, it was just an issue of being over-salted, which can be easily corrected.

The patio area was clean when we sat down, but I assume it probably isn't that well kept up with during the weekends without someone checking the area periodically. Service was friendly, only 2 people running it when we went during lunch time on a Tuesday. The food is literal heaven. Haven't found an authentic Greek spot until now. Loved the feta pimento cheese dip- never heard of it so it peaked my interest. Will be going back just for that on my fries. Nothing was bad, or mediocre. Things were going well for him, but he decided to close the restaurant from lack of help that was available. Now he has returned with some of the same items with a new Olympik, this time in a food truck. The menu is featured in the photos below. For the first time I tried his food yesterday. And oh my God, it was really outstanding. I was thrilled that the name Olympik is continuing on like this. I tried four different things (all in photos below): 1) Fetta fries. In my dad's restaurant he had really good fries. These were in some ways even better. I have not had fries this good in a long time. And then the fetta which had a very pleasant taste to it complimented it in a surprising way. At first it was a bit of shock how good it was to be honest. I knew something special was happening. 2) Greek salad. It was pretty good, fresh, a few new additions to it. My father prided himself in having fresh salads and this is the same. The salad dressing was not too strong which I appreciate but still tasty. I think those who like the Greek salad will enjoy it. (The photo featured is after several bites were taken; | got into it and forgot to take a photo. There is more that comes in the portion at first.) 3) His new Gyro sandwich, with fetta, which looks different and also has olives in it. When I bit into it, it was incredible. I was impressed. The Gyro meat is top quality; not too salty. Moist. The fetta in it was also really good, not too salty, and the bread was delicious. I loved the olive in it. It really worked. He put a generous amount of tzatziki on the sandwich, AND he included another separate tzatziki sauce. I did not need extra. There was nothing lacking. 4) Spanakopita bites. These were so tasty; it is Spanakopita exactly how you want it to taste, regardless of being in small form rather than in casserole form. Also it came with tzatziki sauce. Fata did a good job too, with the venue around the food truck. I took some photos to show you. I love that Santorini design in the truck. Actually I had a friend who came with me there and he had been to Santorini, actually. This is what he said: "Something exciting and novel about this. Eating on the side of the street. In the sunshine. Like being in the sun in Santorini." It is on Folly Road, a few lights down from the entrance that comes from downtown over the bridge. You can't miss this new big pita man sign flapping around in the wind--that is what got my attention to come over! We also got fried pickles (okay, but pretty greasy and they could really use some kind of dipping sauce), the hubs got the Ribeye Philly, he said it needed some kind of sauce and that he didn't feel the need to come back, so... nothing noteworthy.
