Lamb Gyro - comes with fries
Amanda B.

This was my second time trying the Dizzy Lamb food truck and I'm addicted! Their lamb gyro is amazing and has so much flavor. The fries are also great and are topped with feta cheese. The dizzy rolls are not to be missed! They come with a delicious Greek dipping sauce. Try them out if you get the chance and enjoy Greek food!

Cheese bombs! Highly recommend.

Really good food truck. Ordered one each of the chicken and lamb gyros, as well as some cheese bombs and the egg-roll things. Everything was good, but the feta-topped fries and the chicken gyro were standouts. Lamb was good, too, but I'm more of a traditional pork gyro guy. The kids absolutely LOVED the feta fries and will probably insist on adding feta to all fries from now on. Two thumbs up and "ten out of ten" from my kids.

Awesome Gyros! The best I've had in years. Exactly what a Gyro should be. Definitely the kind of place you want to tell your friends about.

Great food and friendly staff! Best gyros and tzatziki in the Low Country! And the Greek salad is out of this world.

The owner and cashier were very nice and welcoming! They were at Snafu Brewing, another great place with an open atmosphere. We placed our order around 6:50 PM. The man running the truck (the only one working) even commented about how slow business was. Despite that, by 7:40 we still hadn't gotten our food though several people who ordered after us had already been served. When my boyfriend checked, the guy said there was still "one person ahead of us" and that he'd bring the food over when ready. Around 8:00 PM over an hour later he finally came out with two sandwiches. But instead of what we ordered (one Classic and one Chicken Bacon Ranch), he handed us two Classics. When my boyfriend asked if one of them was ours, he said yes, but then immediately walked over and gave one of the sandwiches to another couple waiting. It seemed clear that he had completely forgotten about our order and just tried to hand us someone else's food. At that point, we were left with just one correct sandwich after waiting more than an hour. He told us he'd fix it quickly, and about five minutes later brought out the Chicken Bacon Ranch we had originally ordered. Earlier, he had offered us a refund because of the long wait, but when we asked about it after getting the corrected order, he became defensive and irate. He told us things like: "If you were in a restaurant you'd wait 30 minutes," (we had waited over an hour). and "Why would I refund you, you seem to be enjoying that sandwich just fine," (while we were sharing one sandwich because we were starving). He also tried to guilt us by explaining that he pays for everything himself and even asked for "compensation" despite the fact I had already tipped him 20% when we first ordered. Instead of apologizing, he raised his voice across the bar, made us feel like we were the problem, and then walked away mid-conversation. As someone who works in food and beverage, I know mistakes happen but the way you handle them is what defines good service. This was the exact opposite: poor organization, extremely long wait, wrong order, broken promises of a refund, and an worker who treated us rudely instead of professionally.

Both made our day! I will say: Duncan makes the best Berry Coladas!! That drink is SO GOOD! it tastes like a coconut berry smoothie (we got the alcoholic version with rum, but there's a nonalcoholic version as well). Once our table was ready, we were moved to a booth. The overall decor is coastal and cute, with basket-lighting, wooden booths, and multiple ways to order! You can order via your server, QR code, or a paper ballot. We started off with the large sized chips & guac. I was skeptical at first because the guacamole doesn't have tomato, but it was VERY good! We devoured it! For tacos: we got: The baja fish taco: one of my favorites--the fish is perfectly crispy The crispy duck taco: good! Not super crispy, but definitely tasty The cauliflower taco: a surprise hit! I found the flavors very refreshing and well seasoned! The tuna taco on a bed of lettuce: this one can get messy. I ordered with my stomach instead of reading the fine print that it doesn't come in a traditional taco tortilla. The overall taco is good and the tuna has excellent flavor. The taco does come loaded with a sauce that tends to spill--so eat over the tray! My sister got the carne asada taco, and she felt that it could have been better. She felt the carne asada itself was bland and relied on the sauce for flavor. I'm usually skeptical of chain restaurants like Bartaco, but I've been pleasantly surprised: their food is reliably good! (Of note, the Bartaco in Hyde Park Village in Tampa DOES take reservations, unlike this one). I wish this Bartaco also took reservations. On busy days, you can easily expect a 30-45 minute+ wait to be seated here. That being said, the guacamole, the drinks, and the tacos are overall very good! I found that ordering 5 tacos was more than enough to fill me. My sister and I split our bill of berry coladas, large chips & guac, and tacos (5 per person) and it came out to $33.53 per person (with tax and tip).

Roti Rolls has become such a market staple over the years. I ordered the Mother Clucker and it was delicious as ever. I was weary since the cheese wasn't as melts as usually, but the flavor was still on point. The staff prepped and delivered within minutes. I'm used to them being overwhelmingly busy. I was surprised they weren't this time. Thankfully, it tasted as good as always so please support them as I want this staple to stay! Notes for consuming, it gets JUICY! Always pick up extra napkins and hold carefully so you don't spill in yourself which I manage to do every time. Also try the creole mac n cheese! It was devilishly creamy and cheesy. It will not disappoint. Despite being a hot muggy day Roti Rolls delivered quality product and was the perfect meal to enjoy in the grass and listen to the live music.
