Let me start by saying this -- the service was smooth for order/pick-up, we were able to contact the restaurant when we had a question about ingredients (the pesto has nuts in case you were wondering), and the crust was yummy. Those are the reasons this place gets 2 stars instead of just 1 star. I think if I was to come back, I'd get a simple cheese pizza. We got the small 10" Steak and Please and small 10" Fun Guy pizza. They look nothing like the online order menu. Notably, the cheese is baked on top of the ingredients, allowing everything to slide right off each slice and making the bottom crust soggy (picky eaters also can't dodge ingredients!) The Steak and Please was okay flavor-wise...except it had hamburger meatballs, not steak. The Fun Guy was inedible -- I love mushrooms, but it had so many that it made the pizza taste not great. There were barely any caramelized onions (which were more like lightly sautéed) to balance it out, and the cheese was piled on top rather than blended in. I have never NOT saved pizza leftovers, but we didn't this time. Overall, not worth the $15/pizza when there is so much other pizza to try in Atlanta. read more

I've ordered delivery a few times from here and also picked up as well. First off, Steven (hopefully spelled correctly) comes off as a very genuine guy cooking up some solid food. Originally from Pittsburgh but his last major gig was at Greenbriar in West Virginia. I was impressed with how quickly and thoroughly he got back to me regarding a few questions I had for him. Secondly, I'm extremely impressed with the dough he's using here. He's got the fermentation time and process down. Steven also said he pretty much built a stone oven in his backyard and got started cooking for friends and grew via word of mouth. Thirdly, all of the pizza's are topped perfectly and topping distribution is on point as well. Quality of all the toppings and cheese has been spot on as well. Lastly, all of the specifications I've asked for via different POS platforms have been addressed. Whether extra garlic sauce here or something there. I look forward to frequenting this place and if you are a pizza connoisseur you must try. I'm putting Steven in my top 5 ITP pizzas for sure at the moment. read more

So we came to this location after a scroll through their insta page showed some delicious looking Artisanal style pizza. I love me some pizza and I'm a huge fluffy crust fan so this was an easy choice to pair with some wings from B&L. Unfortunately I have to say I was a little disappointed in what we received. We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and I was expecting at least something similar to the pictures but it was very thin. Overall it was more comparable to a pizza from dominos down to the garlic butter on the crust. Margherita Pizza had so much cheese it was inedible. Smelled great. Delivery driver was great and went above and beyond. Ate one piece and there was at least 3x too much cheese so I took it as a loss and threw the rest away. Highly recommend. I will say my expectations were lowered when I walked into the joint. It seems like a new place where multiple restaurants deliver to a single window; don't fully understand the setup. HOWEVER, don't let the weird entrance fool you. This business is totally contactless. If your order is incorrect, you have no recourse. No one answers the phone and there is no physical store to go to. You can leave a message, but they take hours to get back to you. Food is good but if it's wrong and they can't make it right, what's the point? Lots of other good pizza places nearby. We ordered 2 margherita pizzas- one regular dough and the other gluten free. Rarely do I feel like gluten free dough is delicious but this one was! And the ingredients on the pizza were so fresh!! My kids, husband and I crushed both pizzas so quickly. Now let's talk about the pepp rolls- these are garlic knots with pepperoni baked in. Truly unfortunate to have to provide this review of a place that is usually 5 stars. We are consistent customers of The Pizza Pitt, usually ordering once every two weeks or so. Last few orders have been a miss, with latest being a bit of a disaster. Parm knots had raw, uncooked dough in the middle of each knot in the two orders we got. The pizza was undercooked (usually the Pitt cooks then perfectly) and was not the normal set of toppings. Am truly hoping perhaps these are oven issues, as we love the Pitt, but will hold off ordering from them again until we hear that whatever is broken is fixed. It truly has been as if we've ordered from a different place than had in the past. If new owners or something has changed, won't order again unless we know is fixed. read more

Since moving from New York, I haven't had a slice of pizza or a garlic knot that has been anything more than "meh," until The Pizza Pitt. Uber Eats forgot our pizza with our delivery, so we only received the garlic knots at first. But it was love at first bite of their soft, pillowy textured, perfectly seasoned garlic knots. When I called them up to ask about the missing pizza (if the driver left it there or picked it up, what the next steps were, etc), they were absolutely lovely, and even offered to make us another pizza! Great food is one thing, but when you have great service too, it creates a lasting positive impression. I really could not be more impressed with this place. You have to try it! read more

This is more of a suggestion to management kind of post. Make sure to put your items in bags for delivery drivers (ubereats/grubhub). I enjoy your pizza but the reoccurring theme is I'm always missing items when I get them delivered. To assure your clients it's NOT you, but the drivers stealing food, put everything in a freaking bag and seal it. It takes basically no effort on your part and then the customers can just shit on the drivers tips instead of trashing your management. People are dumb as fuck, Especially people who deliver food while gas is 5/gallon. Don't expect them to read receipts and make sure they have everyone's food because they won't. Every other pizza place is doing this that I order from. Edgewood pizza, anticos, jets.... I'm never missing items from them so they'll be getting my money from now on. read more
