It was a busy day for them, so by then all they had left was large pizzas and no wings. FYI they don't take online orders after 8:30pm (30 minutes before close) on Saturdays. I ordered a larger lemon pepper chicken pizza with heavy garlic sauce and banana peppers on the left side. It's was PERFECT! This pizza literally had the best crust I've ever eaten in my life. It was dusted with garlic while being crispy on the outside with an airy inside texture. Like biting into a delicious, garlicy cloud with a satisfying crunch. I cherished every bite. Each slice was loaded so might need 2 hands to eat them. My pizza was ready within 15-20 minutes after placing my order online. Quick and well executed. After coming across the business via an Instagram posting, I headed to Yelp to read the reviews. As a lover of pizza, I hadddddddddd to give it a try. Upon arriving, the parking in the front is minimal; however, Downtown Hapeville has ample parking, so a parking spot was only a few steps away. The location is small and cozy. It has a local feel to it, and the menu is vibrant with color and pizza names. Babeeeeeeee, when I say I wanted the whole menu. I wanted a slice of EVERYTHING. It all sounded sooooo good. However, I decided on The Hapeville Hottie, which is their take on a Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The menu details it as, "If you like your pizza spicy and delightful, well, this is the pizza for you. Our Hapeville Hottie features chicken, red onions, jalapenos, our classic spicy sauce, our hottie sauce, and your choice of a ranch or blue cheese dressing pack to drizzle on top! In sizes Personal (4 Slices), Small (8 Slices), and Large (8 Slices)." I decided to get the spicy option with a bleu cheese pack to drizzle in a personal size, as it was my first time. I headed to the register and was met by a lovely lady who was all smiles and very welcoming. Her service was stellar, and she made the entire interaction a standout joy by itself. Once my order was placed, I had a seat to await the arrival of my Hapeville Hottie. When my pizza was ready, my name was called, and I headed to the counter. When they ever opened that pizza box for me, my eyes said WOWSERS!!!! The pizza looked and smelled amazing. I could literally smell the flavors, and I was ready to eat. I was so ready, I went back over to the counter as I had to take a bite. I placed my bleu cheese drizzle on the pizza and picked that slice up and whew, it became an even better experience. Finally made it to try this pizza out, sadly I've pasted it a few times and didn't even know. At any rate...I tried the Fowl Play (1/2 lemon pepper chicken & 1/2 Turkey pepperoni w/hit honey drizzle and I preferred this more. (I didn't care too much for the lemon pepper chicken because, the meat does not taste nor look like real checked. The crust was really yummy and they were a good size. I like how the pizzas are customizable with half and half options for toppings. The sauce can also be changed on all the pizzas as well. The BBQ was all of our favorite and I would probably get it again. Service was fast and the guy at the counter had plates, napkins, cheese, and pepper flakes ready for me in a bag to go. The small surprised me: 8 perfectly sized slices--$20! You can make it combo and add baked wings with a drink. The pizza was so good! I'm glad I was able to split the specialty flavors. I've been meaning to try Hapeville Pizza for forever! It was well worth the wait. I ordered online after leaving a day party. I got there and my pizza was hot and ready. I got home and opened this beautifully prepared pizza. The pizza was delicious. Nice chewy dough, abundant toppings and a delicious crust. There was lots of toppings on my pizza so it was a bit messy, but the dough was sturdy enough to hold the toppings and not be soggy. This pizza was "create your own" the flavors were a bit all over the place, but everything was delicious. The restaurant is easily accessible. It is located in a small strip of shops on the Main Street. Parking is directly out front and is convenient. Easy access and parking is a big deal for me! Venue and Atmosphere No frills, jut a bar in the window for a few to dine in and a drink cooler on the right. The space is very clean and well lit. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages I ordered the wings after reviews on facebook said they were amazing. I ordered hot with lemon pepper sprinkles. The flavor was on point but the sauce could've been better. Instead of hot sauce with dry sprinkles, they mixed the hot and lemon pepper wet sauces together.This caused the final product to be too oily, and it wasn't ideal. The salad was a miss and I really wish people would stop serving Kens dressing. Make your own dressing if you're charging $5 for a small salad. The wings were okay but were a little slimey. I get that they bake their wings and don't fry them but I think they could be cooked a little longer so that the skin isn't sliding off. The lemon pepper chicken pizza was just not delicious. It was so loaded with cheese, lemon pepper sauce and chicken that it made the entire thing fall apart and the crust extremely soggy. I couldn't even pick up a slice and had to eat it with a fork. It also needed to be cooked longer so that the cheese could melt, but I also think they put too much cheese which is why some of it was still raw. If I lived closer I would eat here every day. I've had to avoid pizza as I've aged due to the tomato sauce/grease causing severe heartburn. But, under a STRONG recommendation, I hesitated to give them a try and was NOT disappointed. They sell pizza by the pie, not slice. So I ordered a small, side of wings and a piece of cake. I ate the ENTIRE pizza in less than 12 hours with no heartburn. Their ingredients are fresh and the pizza was not greasy AT ALL. Though the wings were a little on the pricey side, they were very large and fried perfectly. The cake, I don't know who made it but they need to be slapped- it was THAT delicious. It was good but hard to enjoy because the sauce saturated the dough making it a soggy and messy situation. The onions were a bit undercooked and cut big.
