To me, imperfections in the crust are what make a pizza perfect. But, if you want a lighter crust, just let them know ahead of time. They're very accommodating to specialty requests and do their best to serve you as the customer. Did they have hiccups in the early days of opening, of course. Did they learn from them? If course! Give them a shot of your wanting casual Italian. For lunch (11-2) they have introduced a buffet. Don't forget to get some Gelato on the way out.
