My husband and I have been coming here for more than 10 years. I have never had a problem or food that wasn't fantastic. The baby butter beans, green beans, fried ribs, fried okra, and black eyed peas are amazing. We like to go after church on Sundays. Good salad bar and desserts. My husband loves the homemade rolls. We only eat here about once a quarter- we don't normally eat fried food but when we feel like cheatin' we come here. Sweetest servers and patrons. I'm passing through Macon with a hungry vegetarian. When I saw this spot, I suggested we stop so they could fix a to-go plate. His only options were mash potatoes, fried okra and macaroni. He did pick out some cobbler to enjoy as well. His rating of the food, in terms of taste (seasoning) was "ok" and that okra was not well drained. The food is great and same with the staff they always come around for drink refills, take the plates away that are dirty. Every now and then you'll get a waiter or waitress who needs help when the place is packed with bunch of people trying to find seats. They offer different kinds of food on the bar which is always the same food. Don't get me wrong it's a nice place to eat at but it's always the same food every day I wish they would serve different items to eat instead of the everyday food they had the following day. The restaurant is always clean which is great but at times you'll find the floors will be nasty and filthy on the tables. The restrooms are clean and smell great but at times it needs to be sprayed and needed attention to. Maybe, the managers and the GM's and hire up's will take a look at the restaraunts and think about making other entrees instead of the same thing over and over it's getting boring seeing the same food over and over. Stopped in on the way to Atlanta. Pretty much what I expected, edible country fare. Half of the food that I got off the buffet was cold, when I told the manager she replied "ok". That is inherent in the bulk type of cooking they do and the fact that it sits around on a warmer That having been said, this is the best buffet in Middle Georgia. Shoot there is even a cute electric piggy running sign outside but alas nothing but disappointment. Not a great selection of food at least not to my tastes. I guess if you like fried ribs or anything else double fried. Yes, I said it right they have fried ribs here. Who eats those? Well I am guessing all the hardy country folk that pack into this place everyday. Granted I like southern country soul food but in this place nothing seemed all that great. But I am sorta picky about somethings so I will give this place a little break. I think I liked the sweet tea, salads, and deserts. So the place is not a total disaster on my book.
