Great spot! The pizzeria is exactly what it claims to be and does it very successfully. It's an order at the counter kind of place with pizza by the slice of the whole pizza. They also have pasta and salads, which we did not get to try. The pizza was delicious and just like the pizzas you get in New York city from the little pizzerias. The crust was delicious, easy to fold the slice and the end was nice and crispy. We enjoyed the free slices with check in. It allowed us to try some different toppings. Their specials made the prices super reasonable. We were a party of 4 adults and three kids and paid less than $35 and we had pizza left to take home. Best pizza spot in the Valley. This place would be your favorite neighborhood spot in NY or NJ, too. Free garlic knots while you wait! I'm not sure what more you want from a pizza spot. The sauce is right, and they have a nice selection of slices, strombolis, and calzones ready when you walk in. Of course they'll make anything to order from scratch. Really good toppings, and the pastas ain't bad either (goes back to the sauce). They have a "New Yorker" pie that's larger than you might be used to if you order from one of the chain pizza delivery places. Seating is limited, but rarely crowded. This is my favorite pizza spot in Harlingen. It's a small joint and the atmosphere allows my friends and I go to and enjoy good conversation while we wait for our pies. Their selection of pre-made slices / stuffed pizzas is plentiful, and the same goes for their menu items. I recommend getting alfredo sauce instead of the standard tomato sauce, which has left me even more addicted to this place. As for sides, their complimentary garlic knots are a win, their wings are fantastic (really crispy) and I always have to get their $3 pound of fries. If you still have room I highly suggest their zeppoles (Italian donuts). I ordered 3 pizzas last night for delivery. Two of the pizzas where good, so if you must eat here stick to the basic pepperoni, or cheese pizza and you will be fine. They weren't anything special, but they were definitely decent pizzas. However, the "Old Fashioned" specialty pizza was horrible. The box was literally soaked in liquid from the toppings. The crust looked like it had been dipped in water. When you picked up the slice of pizza all of the toppings just slid off into a soggy mess. It was really inedible unless you plan on using a cereal spoon. To make the situation worse when we called The Pizzeria to ask for our money back, just for the one bad pizza, they interrogated us like we were trying to rob them. Finally they agreed to send a driver out to look at the pizza and make sure we weren't lying. Of course, we had no problem with that because the pizza was inedible, so we happily gave them back their box of wet pizza toppings and soggy crust. The driver agreed the pizza look disgusting and hopefully we will see a refund on our card. The manager said it could take 10 business days for him to do the refund, so I guess we will just hold our breath. read more

Friendly staff. Usually very helpful. Had trouble with one of the managers there a few years ago she was very rude but I'm told she no longer works there. New management does a fantastic job running the place! Do wish they brought back slices though. read more

I know with the Covid situation, this would not have happened, but my wife and I went in expecting to dine in and found that all the tables and chairs put up. So that started our disappointment. The second thing is that the music they were playing was so loud, my wife and I had to ask the counter girl to repeat the things we were being told or asking questions about. That was frustrating. Then we had ordered a pizza and asked about making it a stuffed pizza instead. The price was more than 2X as much. After hearing the extraordinary total, we immediately changed it back to a regular pizza as that sounded extreme for a stuffed pizza. Then when we got our pizza, the girl asked if we wanted peppers and cheese. We said yes and would also like some ranch. The girl said that we didn't pay for the ranch. My wife and I have never had to pay for ranch to use with our pizza! We asked how much and again couldn't believe the price. A small cup for $1. I could have bought a bottle of ranch from the store for just over a dollar! But the pizza we had was good, but the service and prices on anything extra will drive us to never return. read more

Was in Harlingen yesterday so tried this place out, hubby had already been and loves it. We decided to order the family meal, you can order by the slice but those were sitting out and I wanted mine fresh. I loved the cheese sticks. The dough is a very nice consistency of airy and chewy. The dipping sauce was a bit bland and watery but still edible. I enjoyed the supreme pizza and the kids liked the pepperoni. This was the kind of pizza that the end hangs down when you hold it, it can get a bit messy. A bit greasy on top. Honestly I preferred the cheese sticks. Next time I would try the pan style. It looked really good. I appreciated that the restaurant and restrooms were clean and that all the men seemed busy at work doing something. Give it a try if you are in Harlingen! read more

The pizza is decent and better than most chains, however it always seems to arrive soggy. Even when ordered extra crispy. When reheated in the oven, the pizza is much better. The toppings are inconsistently applied, but seem of fairly good quality. The calzones and stromboli are good and don't seem to suffer from the same sogginess. This place could easily be a 4 for the pizza if it was cooked thoroughly and the toppings applied properly. read more

The pizza is always good. This was the first time I tried the pasta. I got the chicken parmesan on rigatoni and my son got the linguini with meat sauce. I tried both. My go to is always spaghetti and meat sauce and this did not disappoint! It was very tasty and saucy. It reminded me of the meat sauce that would come on spaghetti in most South American restaurants. The pizza is very authentic and pays homage to it's Italian roots. My absolute favorite is the Bruschetta. If you are a vegetarian and think that there isn't a pizza made for you, you absolutely must try this pizza. I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. My other favorite dish is the Chicken Alfredo and the Baked Ziti. These two dishes beat out just about every "Italian" restaurant I've tried so far.
