Recently had their pizza at an office function and it tasted great. Three different types of pizza were ordered (chicken, pepperoni and cheese). I had a slice of pepperoni and one of cheese. The slice of cheese was a little greasy but that seemed to make it that much more tasty. People who had the chicken said it was good. read more

Great place for pizza, they have many variety of toppings cooked to your liking. The pizza tastes great, and they also have soups and salads. The restaurant is small but very inviting, and the staff is friendly. You'll probably see pizza delivery guys running in and out all the time while your there. My first time here and so we ordered a slice of Old Fashioned and a slice of Pesto Pizza. Also had a Meat Lovers Calzone, Mini Knots, and 6 wings. My favorite of the bunch was the Calzone. The Ricotta cheese in the Calzone was creamy and super tasty. The wings were average, I wouldn't order those again. Both slices of pizza were super flavorful but the Old Fashioned did it for me. My wife and I have eaten at the Pizzeria a few times over the past 2 years. Each time we are pleased with our food and service. The Pizza can be ordered by the slice allowing you to try various types instead of just one per visit. The slices are very large and reasonably priced(under $3 per slice). Her favorite is the Californian which is topped with basil, roasted red peppers, and sun-dried tomatoes. I prefer the deep dish Sicilian Pepperoni, and various other combinations of meat and veggies All can be seen before ordering making decisions either less or more difficult, since they all look so good. Garlic knots are really yummy, great sauce to go along with them quite tasty and I usually do not dip in sauces!!! So for me to dip says something about the sauce . The pizza was very good thin hand tossed cross nice crispness to the pie. I have tried the meats and the plain pie both were good . Holy crap this was so good! Everything I ordered tasted fresh and amazing. I ordered a medium pizza with basil pesto sauce and fresh mozzarella with spinach. I am usually picky with pizza but this place definitely won me over. I think in going to order again tomorrow but try something different. Love this place! The food is absolutely incredible. Move over Stefano's and Olive Garden. This is the greatest little hole in the wall Italian restaurant. It's not fancy but they remember your name and greet you with a smile when you walk through the door. That alone makes you feel important as a customer. Service is excellent and prices are definitely fair because the food is so good. Their garlic knots are outstanding and their salads are tremendously fresh and chilled perfectly. We particularly enjoy the atmosphere with their plain homemade wood tables and chairs. We also like that it's a bring your own beer or wine kinda place because they only have soda or water. Therefore you don't have to pay the ridiculous prices charged at other restaurants for beer and wine. It's a lot of fun to watch them create pizzas by hand and see them baking in the oven. And believe me, their pasta dishes are huge. You'll probably need a go box and there won't be any need for desert because you leave with your palate and tummy completely satisfied. I can't say enough good things about this place. It is truly a gem and a well kept secret. We've now been here three times & each time having tried something different, must say this place doesn't disappoint. First of course the pizza - the large slices are NY style large coming off an 18 inch pie. The sauce is (like their other sauces) are freshly made, not canned. All the pizzas have generous helping of cheese, ingredients & best of all you can pick a specialty pizza from the menu or select your own toppings. All pizza come with thin crust unless you order the stuffed. Secondly the Stromboli & Calzone are HUGE!! Larger than 8" because they over hang from your plate. Like the rest of their menu items large helping of ingredients with house sauce! Lastly, their pastas & lasagna... Just go try it cuz there are no words. Doesn't even compare to your best meal at the local chains! And for dessert - best Canoli in Texas ( I think) hands downs. So if you're looking for NY pizza I n RGV just go! read more

I traditionally like the pizza when I go into the restaurant. Recently I called to make a delivery order (my first) and I was super excited to enjoy the pizza at home. I order a Primavera and Hawaiian. While ordering, I was repeatedly placed on hold and the girl taking my order kept talking to other people. One of the pizzas I asked for to be half one half another, couldn't be done. (I really didn't mind that) After an hour, I called the restaurant to check on the delivery and was quoted the driver had left 15 minutes prior. I asked how many pizzas the driver had to deliver along with mine and was informed mine was the only order being delivered by him. After another 5 minutes the order arrived. Not only did the order take over an hour to get here, but only one pizza was delivered! While I called to inquire about my other pizza, I checked on the pizza delivered and it was cold. The manager was completely uncooperative and rude. When I have someone apologize to me, I would like it to be sincere. So now we are 30 minutes into waiting for our second order to arrive on a business I will not be ordering from again. read more

My husband and I tried it out today for the first time. It's a small place, cozy, casual and you're greeted warmly as you enter. As you walk in you're able to see the different varieties of pizza to order from and it is quite a selection. They have everything from thin crust to a panned pizza in red and white sauce with different meats, cheeses, and vegetables, strombolis, as well as zeppolis and cannolis for dessert. We started out with the lentil soup (99 cents per cup) and it was hearty, smoky, and delicious. My husband had a slice of the primavera pizza with a thin curst, spinach and tomatoes in a white sauce. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients. It wasn't too heavy. I had a slice of the chicken fajita pizza. It was a thicker crust but airy and crispy all the way through. It had a hearty amount of chicken breast pieces and delicious red sauce. For dessert we had 2 zeppolis in powdered sugar. We can't wait to go back and try out the rest of the menu. It really is an awesome pizza place. Normally, we have to leave South Texas for pizza this good, fresh, and authentic. The prices are great, too. The thin crust pizzas start at about $1.50 per slice and the heartier ones are @ $2.50. The zeppolis are 2 for $1. Our meal of 1 cup of soup, 1 slice pizza, and 1 zeppoli each left us very satisfied and it was less than $11!!! I think this will be our Friday date night restaurant of choice for a while :) read more

I ordered first time online normally call in but now they provide online ordering. Anyway it came 15 min late. My buffalo wing came w a drop of sauce found in the corner of the tray. The pizza was sliced in uneven slices the taste was still yummy. The cheese fries I used to order when they first opened was yum and just like they advertise on the website with nacho cheese, now the fries are over cooked and they throw slices of American or cheddar cheese on them they came like it was orange plastic melted on the fries, nothing like advertisement. My order was 45$ I gave 50$ driver was nice woman. I mean I understand if your busy and have mass traffic coming in but you should be consistent with your products. read more
