I can't speak on the outdoor plants from this store, but the indoor plants are relatively poorly cared for. I've seen aroids potted in what looks like pure peat moss, I've seen bleached, sunburnt leaves on a vast scale, and don't get me started on the amount of hoya that are suffering from root mealy infestations. Not to mention the fact that the staff had no idea what root mealies were when it was brought to their attention. Plants are either under or over watered consistently. The selection of indoor plants that the plant farm has is the best that spokane has to offer, unfortunately speaking. It's just disappointing and frustrating to have to resuscitate almost every plant I bring home from them. Their pricing seems to be all over the board as well. Some are priced very well and some are extremely high for an indiscernible reason. I've also noticed that their expensive section does not look great, health-wise. Overall, it's fine. My goodness, I'm going to try to be short! After purchasing 3 large specimens: Hoya imperialis white 4"; Hoya imperialis red 6" and Hoya PNG 441 6" I was unpleasantly surprised how I received my online shipment (ETSY). They arrived late afternoon on a Saturday with minimal packing material which caused severe heat exhaustion. Most of the plant tips were soggy exhibiting damaged or no circulations. No additional soft packing fiber was used to protect any growing tips! No insulation to protect from heat!!! Reached out the following morning (was already running late for an event when plants arrived -previous afternoon) and sent photos. Then was asked to send additional photos. No consideration was offered for any type of resolution or accountability on their part. Just pointless excuses and insipid responses!! At the end of the day, the plants are slowly recovering and was told the damages were normal! By the way I also received two other large Hoya specimens (H. imperialis Palawan and H Seanie) with no "travel" impact whatsoever arriving the same time, from another vendor in Texas!!! I've also received some other gorgeous specimens internationally with minimal or no damage. Their business model "obviously" is about maximum profits at the expense of customer satisfaction (at least when things go wrong), as outlined in their "release of obligations clause". Paraphrasing: If you don't take a picture of your plants and complain upon arrival the company is not responsible! In addition, they don't take responsibility for what happens with USPS. I think they should simply be proactive and pack their merchandise properly and thoroughly. Stop blaming USPS for your shortcomings! I was really looking forward to receiving my purchase in decent condition!! They have my $300 and I'm left with second rate specimens. Online buyers beware!!! On Nov 10th, I participated in the poinsettia tours, where you can not only see the greenhouse full of poinsettias, but also tour many of the other greenhouses and understand how the Plant Farm operates. The staff are very knowledgeable and help equip you with the info you need to help your plants thrive. This place gets me in trouble. I can easily spend two hours here perusing through all the plants, pots, and gifts. This place is huge! Their selection and quality of plants and cacti are great. This place is my new go-to for online plant ordering. I have made two purchases (6 total plants) from these guys and couldn't be more impressed. First of all, prices are extremely fair on all products. Second, order prep and shipping is faster than any other company I've purchased from. Third, the quality of the product is absolutely outstanding. I live in NM, which is obviously a bit of a trip from Spokane. Despite this, each and every plant arrived in immaculate condition and has absolutely thrived since receipt. Online ordering is scary when you expect a plant to resemble what's pictured and you get nothing of the sort. If I could go to the nursery and pick my own, I would. But since 1) I live in CO and 2) COVID, I've learned quite a lot about what online fulfillment centers ought to be doing with honesty. The Plant Farm is unorganized, dishonest, said that there's no number to reach online sales people who can help me with my bunk order and emailing is not top notch. Unprofessional. I feel violated actually. Out of my money. Anyway, go to the nursery if you can but I don't recommend ordering online for items to be shipped. I made a purchase online from the Plant Farm in Spokane, WA. When it arrived, I took the plant out of the box and noted how saturated the soil was of this succulent plant. Four days later leaves had yellowed and blackened. I sent pictures and information to the company. I received a reply by someone (anonymous) telling me to take the roots apart and replant in dry soil. This plant is almost dead -- looking worse every day. There is nothing that can help it at this point. The anonymous person in charge of online sales has not replied back to me about my request for replacement. They have 2 of these plants in their inventory but are not responding to my request. A friendly, family business this is not. There are similar reviews by others about the online department of their business -- so apparently they do not stand behind their goods or customer service. This nursery is heavenly, the atmosphere, care of plants and overall feel is wonderful, I've been back here more then once just to enjoy walking around and exploring the different types of plants before picking out a few for myself, the plants are always so healthy. Ordered a Autumn Ember Begonia Rex a few weeks ago on September 5th, and got it September 8th. I was initially happy when it arrived, beautiful but not looking the greatest. Figured it was because of transit. Put it my by windowsill to give it some light, and watered it just a little. I did what the care instructions said and I potted it a few weeks after receiving it. Although the leaves were dropping and it began to look dead, I was still hopeful. Well, unfortunately the other day I had to throw it out as it died completely... I asked for a refund, showed pictures of the plant when I got it versus when it died, and still got refused a refund because I potted the plant a day earlier than when I was supposed to. Ive asked them twice for a refund, the first time they said to give it awhile. Second time they said because I repotted the plant a day earlier than suppose to apparently... I wouldn't order through them again. Go through Gabriella Plants, or Broes with Hoes. They are two of the best online plant shops that I have went through. Review regarding online ordering only. One of two plants was missing from my order. I contacted them and they said the plant was unavailable and therefore not included in the package. This was not communicated prior to the package being shipped. They offered a refund for just the plant but I was still charged for the price of shipping for two plants, even though I only received one plant. I was told that shipping cost wouldn't have mattered whether it was one plant vs two plants since the second plant was a small plant. Their website, however, calculated two different shipping costs for just the one plant I received vs the two plants I ordered. Additionally, the website still shows that the plant I did not receive is still available. So either someone needs to update the website or own up to their mistake that they forgot to pack the second plant. Tone of emails were unprofessional and unapologetic. Disappointed because I have ordered from them in the past and had a great experience, but never again! read more

As others have commented on online ordering I also had a horrible experience! Plants came with pests and horribly damaged. These damages was not from shipping stresses but obviously there before it was shipped out. The WORST part about this entire experience is that when I informed them about the pests and damages in an email I get a ONE line response. "You can ship it back if you want". I have ordered several plants from the plant farms website. Unfortunately I live in an area where it's hard to find good plants at good deals so I order a good portion online. The plant farms packaging is amazing! I've never had a plant arrive damaged. It's also easy to get the plant out of the packaging whereas some other places that I have ordered from takes me forever to get the plant out of the box, let alone unwrap the packaging. They ship soaking wet plants that are doomed to die and refuse to replace as promised in their shop policies, then lied to me claiming they had no replacement to ship when they had more for sale in their store. I also ordered them a little over a week before I was going on vacation, thinking I would get them before, which isn't saying anything bad about the company, just me not thinking, and I was just nervous because I would not be there to receive them and take a picture in case they were damaged to submit a claim. Let me tell you, I was nervous, but after two days of sitting in the box after being placed on my door step, they were THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PLANTS I HAVE EVER SEEN! I like to browse the plant selection and come in a few times a year. I always have a wait to check out, but have never complained because the staff seems very busy. I have been in a few times in the last few months after COVID. I waited for quite some time to check out. There were 2 cashiers at the register section and one walked away when it was my turn to check out. I figured it was her break time and that someone would help relieve her. I finally got to check out after being in line with 1 person for 10 minute. I bought a hanging basket that the staff had to take down from the outside area. Another worker was called to assist me. She was helping take the basket down when another customer got her attention and she ended up helping her first before taking my basket down. She didn't say apologize to me or ask the other customer to wait. I have never had an issue before with having bad service, so just figured it was a bad/busy day and chalked it up to that. I was in there last week. I don't think the staff noticed I came in but I witnessed an employee berating another one. If this is the way staff members talk with each other, then I really do not want to do business here. read more

I was apologized to about the misrepresentation and was asked to mail back the plant. Will have to go out of my way to repack the wrong plant sent and wait to see if they promptly refund me.
