If you actually need something that you would buy at a mall (clothes, shoes, dining, etc), The Playground is not for you. All floors except the bottom floor are completely empty. There was one sports store open, and The Sugar Factory, which seems to always be busy. It is really an abandoned, dead mall. And I really love dead malls! They make me sad and melancholy, but I'm the kind of person that goes in and imagined what it used to be like, the hustle and bustle, the smell of food from restaurants. There is a very bizarre Versace Home cube on the second floor with a bed in it. There is what seems to be a concert area with a setup for lighting fixtures and great acoustics. But the best part is, the coolest part, is standing over the ocean while in this mall. It could not be more epic. And since there is literally no people around, it's quiet and peaceful. There are a lot of Adirondack chairs to sit in by the huge windows, and there is a (closed) deck where you can really see the vast expanse of the Atlantic Ocean. I have never been to Atlantic City before, so I have no clue what it was like, but you can tell the mall was extremely luxurious at one point. I highly suggest people visit before is completely closed off. It's beautiful, it's free, and it's haunting.

This extension of the boardwalk is worth the visit. It holds shopping stores, and very nice restaurants. Its located off the Caesar's casino, and you can enter via the boardwalk or direct skywalk from Caesar's casino.

I love the location and actual facility. Back in the day when it was bumping with restaurants, bars, and shops it was the place to be. The views are awesome and the water show that they used to have was great. I guess this is going along with a lot of the other places in Atlantic City that are falling away. What used to be shops are now empty store fronts. What used to be dining areas are for lease signs. There are some dining options but they're so sparce that I don't think they can possibly get enough business to keep the building booming. I heard that this is supposed to now be like an "Adult" playground with like a hopping night life? Not sure if it has become that yet. Now its merely a place to grab a snack and go to the bathroom.

Unfortunately, The Playground just isn't the attraction it once used to be. I used to frequent this long stretch of leisure when it was still called Ocean One back in it's heyday. Back in the day, there used to be plenty of gaming for adults and kids and great views of Atlantic City. On my most frequent visit, it seemed like there was a lot less foot traffic inside and not a lot going on inside the uninteresting stores. The Playground is still multiple floors and contains some high-end shops on the upper floors, including a Phillips Seafood, but there weren't many folks shopping. One great thing that this attraction still supplies is a great view of both sides of Atlantic City. On a nice spring, summer day the views can be spectacular of the beach, beach-goers and boardwalk. Another great thing about this attraction though is that it IS connected to Caesars casino so you do not have to go outside to visit it. It's maybe not what it used to be, but it's still worthy of a visit while it's here.

An amazing mall located on the AC boardwalk! Worth the visit. Go up to the third floor for an amazing view overlooking the Atlantic Ocean! Restrooms also located on the third floor.

Came here to stroll during my AC visit. A lot has changed as this once once revered as the mall on the water that housed an array of high end stores and boutiques. Well they still have a handful of those high end shops, but most have closed. They still have an impressive array of restaurants located on the top floor with stunning views of the water and Boardwalk. It looks as if they have somehow managed to turn this place into an entertainment venue. They now have a Wet Willie's daiquiri bar, which means it's definitely catering to the young, party crowd. With that said, it's time for me to exit, but if this type of atmosphere floats your boat, by all means the Playground in AC is where you can set sail.

The Playground is a great concept and a needed fresh breath for the stale Atlantic City air. This venue reminds me of Xfinity Live, in the sense that you are able to bar hop from one bar to the other. There was no cover on this particular night, I imagine they save that for when there is live music. Each bar inside is different, one is a piano bar, another karaoke and another is a good old Irish bar. Past the corridor of bars is a huge tv screen and open area. I imagine that this is where the bands perform and it's a great open space. There is a small outdoor area set up as a beer garden. In reality I think the beer garden term can be used loosely as there are only a few tables set up and not much decor. But hey, this place just opened so I'll give them time to update. But really, why was there no live band on a Friday night? That's probably why The Playground was dead when I came. This place is new and it should and could be the hot spot of Atlantic City. I imagine the Playground attracting a mid 20s to 30s crowd and people who want to go out in Atlantic City but deal with the usual club scene. This venue has so much potential and could be so great. I really hope they step up their game with advertising, promotion and booking live bands. I only knew about The Playground because a friend works for a casino and told me about it. I didn't see any billboards promoting The Playground on my way down to Atlantic City. I would hate to see yet another failed business venture in Atlantic City. Please, step up your game!!!

Alas, the Playground is not a 5 star establishment. Excitement and optimism of the new venue initially got me, but ultimately wore off leading to thoughts of failure and mediocrity at best. What a cool concept! Now on a Saturday night, most of the bars in T Street are barely open and there were about a dozen patrons in site. The once glorious fountain, and then concert stage, is now a night club, Wav. I didn't go in, but does AC really need another night club? What happened to the bowling alley on the second floor? The retail section is still a mix of high-end and crappy. At least Continental and Buddakan are still lively on the third floor. I'm hoping I just walked by at an off time (10pm on a Saturday night during the summer...), but I left the Playground feeling disappointed. I hope I'm proved wrong, but perhaps a wolf in sheep's clothing is still a wolf.

This was completely empty! I'm sure if that is a seasonal thing or if it's just losing popularity. I was very disappointed

So disappointing. Only a few stores and restaurants remain. It does offer seating to relax and look out over the ocean and beach.

Dirty and a lot of closed stores. But there is a gorgeous view of the beach at the end which i would totally recommend for all!
