Walked a mile to get here from my hotel and it was bigger than i imagined but all the normal giant department stores across from the Amtrak station. Went to most of the clothing stores like old navy , carters, and guess then thankfully found the one public bathroom. The 2 story Bass Pro Shops was the biggest and busiest place here but had to walk a bit to get here. read more

This outlet shopping center has everything you want and more. All brands, great selections, and top notch customer service. They also have great food options w reputable franchise restaurants, also local gems nearby. If you visit the website of Tanger, they have coupons to great stores. There are things about this outlet mall that you can like and then there are things that just don't make much sense. They do have a lot to offer, but like most malls, there are empty spots that don't make it feel like a complete mall. The biggest thing I like about this place is how integrated it is into the cityscape. Even though it is essentially an outlet mall, it is not sprawled out and surrounded by parking lots. It is easily accessible for anyone to get to and a short walk from the casinos and hotels. It is good that they did it this way as it feels like a cohesive part of the city. But, it can be tedious to do a complete shopping trip. While most of the stores are in a kind of centralized location, there are outlier stores that feel like and afterthought. Not to mention the number of streets you will need to cross to do a complete run through of the stores. Best to plan ahead of time and figure out where exactly you want to shop and then go from there. Believe me, don't trust the maps on site as they may not be the most correct maps. Utilize your phone as that is up to date. I was excited thinking that I would be able to hit up a particular store only to find out that it was actually no longer open. Restaurant wise there isn't much going on here. There is a stand alone fast food place and a few sit down places, but they feel more connected to the casinos than to the outlet mall. I have said it earlier, my biggest gripe was the fact that you had to cross the street multiple times. Waiting to cross took longer than expected. Then when you were able to cross there was barely enough time to get across the street. read more

Tanger Outlet Atlantic City is definitely changed completely. There are so many empty stores and I feel the products given to these branches are just the bottom of the barrel. I'm really sorry for the decline in this area it's not the same. I really enjoyed shopping here but now it's a hit or miss when looking for things to buy. Police is present many patrol cars driving by for some of the sketchy characters walking around. If your Tanger outlets member check your rewards for some saving but it's limited compared to previous years prior. read more

Decent outlet stores here and it's spread out over a few blocks. One or two blocks off of the boardwalks and hotels so it's very convenient. There are directories posted so you can see a map of the stores that are there. Great place to shop and window shop as well. Parking is limited though I believe. If you want to get out into the sunlight where oxygen, clocks and the full urban circus awaits, the Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City are a nice diversion from the dulling sameness of the Casino petrie dishes. Remember there's no tax on clothing in New Jersey, so as you stroll by all the usual retail suspects you're likely to find something that possibly escaped your notice in Parsippany. Tanger Outlets is a nationwide operator of open air outlets. Though the one in Atlantic City is on the smaller side compared to others, it is still a decent collection of name brand stores. Some of the brands I spotted were: Nautica, Adidas, J Crew, Michael Kors, Nike, Express, and Abercrombie & Fitch. They have some budget brands too like H&M. There are a handful of foo options but no food court like some other outlet. That is because the boardwalk is right there. If you get tired to of the beach and casinos, this is a good area to browse around and do some cheap shopping. read more

I'm not one for seeking out outlets malls, but when in town for a conference and since this outlet "mall" really isn't a mall per se, rather it's a collection of stores on many streets around the Atlantic City Convention Center, I stopped in to the Bass Pro Shops. I was seeking some clothing and this place definitely fit the bill! While there, I saw the Coach store across the street and thought of a gift, so I went and found a nice selection at great prices. Overall, this collection of stores has nice, large walk ways between them and lights with cross walks to get across busy streets to visit all the stores. Not a bad selection of stores, but not very many. They also have silly, cheesy stuff that seems like a "free" proffer to the area, such as the MLK/Ghandi "museum" LOL read more

I'm a fan of the Tangers chain of outlets. Albeit on the small side of Tangers Outlets, I found many items I needed and wanted. I suggest you first stop at Shopper Services located around the corner from Starbucks. Members can pickup their savings booklet and any other promos they may be eligible. AARP members also get a booklet. The $10 membership is worth it if you shop at Tangers with any degree of regularity. Bring back your receipts at the end of your shopping and earn points towards a free tote and discounts at stores. There's also free and discounted parking which you can validate at Shopper Services. They're close to the boardwalk, conference area, Sheraton, and Caesar's. A good option for those who don't come to AC to gamble but rather feed their penchant for shopping. read more

We had been to Atlantic City so many times , but never had the time to walk through tanger outlets . This time we did it . It was awesome . Lots of good shops and nice deals . We went to vans , pandora , bath body , and also had our food in applebies. Nice and relaxing time . 2 negatives though - no shops have restrooms for customers and no 2 - parking is a mess. .if not for these 2 disadvantages, this is a nice place to visit . This is an okay outlet mall. And outlet malls are generally the same everywhere. The thing is, you can find an outlet mall anywhere, and sometimes what you buy isn't cheaper. It's an A- to the A-brand. Flights to Las Vegas are often discounted. Have an adventure and fly there without luggage. They have CVS there, but use coupons. Buy a few cheap t-shirts instead of A- stuff. read more

These outlets are fine but nothing exceptional. First, parking will cost ~$10. One time, we parked in a random lot, and another time we parked in Caesars (we ended up gambling there later, so that was OK). If you are planning on gambling anyway, then I'd definitely recommend parking in one of the casino parking garages. I found it kind of annoying that there was no free parking available for people that just want to go shopping. There are a decent number of outlet stores, but it doesn't really feel like a community, if that makes sense. Everything feels disconnected and we weren't able to find a food court with public restrooms or anything else communal. Walking between stores can be annoying too because you have to wait to cross busy roads with lots of traffic, etc. Overall, if I was already at the casino, I may come back here, but I wouldn't drive out here just for shopping. read more

Shopping in Atlantic City- the east coast gambling hub?! Yep. I'm a real effort to make AC more family friendly- this was and has been added the past 5 years and really is a nice change of pace from all the gambling that I still love and crave. When the outlets first open they all were open but what you are seeing now is the re-opening of casinos and now some of the shops closing down. Still the staple stores are there: Polo, TH, JCrew, Nike, Adidas, White/Black, Vans, etc. nice selection Problem really is the prices aren't that great. Best deal I got was a pair of Ultra Boosts for $90.08 which is very cheap but still - polo was like shopping at the regular store. Would be nice to have more stores come in. I wa pissed I didn't drive because I definitely would've purchased some winter boots on sale for next year, lol. I think the pandemic broke all the outlets! I've been to outlets from at arundel mills in Maryland to Tanger in Atlantic City and they all have no sales whatsoever! I get the same prices as they have at the regular mall. I can actually get better prices online. I was searching for pants for a funeral and some timberlands for a Christmas present. I found pants for $15 at old navy and no timberlands on sale at all. I drove all over NJ looking for the discounted boots and ended up finding some at Marshall's. I tried to go to the restaurant adjacent to the outlets which is technically inside of the convention center. Unfortunately I found that they didn't even have the door unlocked. After finally knocking for 2 minutes we found the restaurant empty and dark on a Friday evening. I just walked out. There is no way the cook is back there happy to cook one sandwich every 2 hours. read more

I came here as a break from the beach and gambling in Atlantic City. I came here on a Tuesday afternoon with a group of 4 people. We went to Polo, Nautica, Kate Spade, Express, and Coach stores. There were some good deals but I feel like there's better deals at Jersey Shore Outlets. I found an extra 20% off any item coupon at most stores on the Tanger Outlets Atlantic City website. Be sure to check the website to see if there's any coupons. However, is annoying that the stores were all spread out and it's a bit of a walk to get to any store. Also, you have to wait for the light and cross the street so it takes longer to get to each store. If you're in the area, it's something to do but I wouldn't go out of my way to come here. read more

We enjoy visiting the Tanger Outlets once a year on our trip to Atlantic City. They usually have good deals going on and a store for everyone - we like to frequent Maidenform/Hanes, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Loft, etc. We also discovered a new store that had been open since 2015- the beef jerky outlet! We wished we had known about this place sooner. They have all kinds of jerky, from beef to bacon to venison and elk. One thing we were surprised about is that the B&BW store here did NOT have the semi annual sale going on like they do online. The reality is no matter WHY you come to Atlantic City, you're gonna lose money. Where you spend it is a matter that's in your control, whether it's for gambling, hotels or shopping. Outlets, as we all know, are not really outlets as we used to call them in the good old days. They're not really seconds or discontinued items necessarily. And outlet stores have an annoying habit of having price tags that don't really list the final price - you gotta hunt down a sign that'll tell you if there's a percentage off that you might save on a particular item. There's a nice mix of stores here, from clothing to shoes to candles to sports items. Name brand stores too, like Kate Spade (RIP). Restaurants from steak houses to fast food or Starbucks also dot the pavilion. Truly look for sales and be prepared to deal with the walking and outdoor weather. You could be dealing with boiling heat or frigid temperature or hurricane force winds. FUN FUN FUN. read more

I love visiting Tanger Outlets and this one is no exception. FREE parking - We are a Tanger club member which means we get free parking with a $50 purchase (so easy) and a free coupon book. What a great deal. We like visiting this location as there are many shops with great deals. The area near Starbucks is great for the kids to run around a bit. The downer is it's on a busy street. I always wondered why they didn't close down Michigan Ave (the street w/ Jockey) so people can walk in the street.,, Well close at least on Saturday. Will I be back? YES!!! Tanger served as a relaxing and fun end to an AC weekend. (I say this as a girl.) For one, it's steps from Bally's and Caesars, which is incredibly convenient. For two, there are maps everywhere, so it's not hard to find the stores you want to visit. Just watch out for the car traffic, because it's an outdoor outlet complex in the middle of a busy area of the city. The whole 'Tanger Walk' area was clean and orderly, and the shop selection was expansive. I'd particularly recommend the Old Navy outlet -- if they have any clothes left after I stormed their building earlier today. read more

Not the bestest deals I've ever seen in my life time but decent stuff. I'd come back. It was fun and a nice little escape from NY. Worth the drive out here. I definitely got a few things. This is a good outlet location because they have all of the best stores.Polo,Adidas,Nike and all my other favorites. They have a Starbucks and other places that will make you happy. It is a little dangerous walking across the streets , be careful as people are constantly speed. Great location and you should be able to walk there from most major hotels. Definitely plan on spending some time here when you are visiting AC. read more

I'm not thrilled with these outlets. The set up is confusing, you have to cross several major streets while shopping and public spaces are blah. There is a good variety of stores. The stores were clean. The merchandise was good in the stores I went in but most was made for the outlet not from the regular lines. It wasn't crowded on a weekday which was nice. Sales staff in all the stores I went in were friendly and helpful. The information store is located in the back of the outlets across from the convention center. Not really a good location. We came from the casino/boardwalk. It would've been helpful to go here first for a map. There's a coupon book available if you join for $5. It's not really worth it unless you're doing some serious shopping. I didn't understand why you had to pay for it. It is free for military and AAA members. I'm not a gambler so I would've liked to spend more time shopping. read more

They made the entire town the outlet mall, hurray! This is a nice change of pace, to walk around and shop the outdoor mall. And right in the middle of it all is a small Starbucks. Wait a second.. I kinda sound like my 15 year old niece, just gimme a frappachino and a charge card! I'm sure its here but I didn't see the actual Tanger common area where they sell coupon books, bathrooms, baby changing rooms, etc.. Parking is also something to consider, they have lots that will charge $10. Ten Bucks?! There are meters on the street, if you think you'll be here for an hour or two, I recommend street meter parking. They did have some great high end store staples such as Banana Republic Factory Store Bass Factory Outlet, Brooks Brothers Factory Store, Bath & Body Works, Polo and Coach. This location has a Beef Jerky Outlet? What the what?!? The best thing about having this outdoor mall so close to the hotels, when you travel in a large group someone will forget to pack something. We only visited the Nike outlet when we came to AC but the Tanger Outlets as a whole as very accessible by food if you're staying at one of the hotels along the boardwalk. It's clean and all the storefronts looks nice. I've already reviewed the Nike store that's located in the complex and expressed my deep like for its value so, I won't dwell too much on that again. Tanger AC has a great selection of stores including, MK, Nike Factory, F21, H&M, Coach, NY&Co and many more. This Tanger is not in a plaza or a mall. It is comprised of several storefront shops in a two or three block radius. There are maps posted throughout the outlet to help assist customers with finding their desired stores. Tanger is within walking distance to Caesars and Bally's. If staying on one of the properties owned by Caesars, such as Harrah's, take the Total Rewards bus over to the boardwalk and walk from there. There is valet parking available for $12 per car or limited nearby street parking on site. My guess is that people park at nearby locations such as the hotel garages or side streets and walk. Good deals can be found here if you're searching for a bargain. Many of the stores do not appear to be an outlet. We saw regularly priced merchandise at many stores. The handbag stores had deeper discounts than the clothing stores. Very interesting and a bit confusing since Tanger is marketed as an outlet mall. Overall, better selections with more variety can be found at your local mall. read more

So many stores here now that there are just too many to list. The Tanger Outlets in Atlantic City keeps expanding and adding in more stores. All the big brand names are here from Nike, Coach, Disney, J Crew, The Gap, Hanes, Marc Ecko, Timberland, Ralph Lauren, Underarmer, and so many more. You can walk around here for a whole weekend and not get to all of them. As I have shopped here a few times I have noticed it's hit or miss on prices. Some things can be found at steep discounts, some at a small discount, and others it seems at no real savings at all. Shop around to pick and choose as a bit of "retail hunting" is sometimes required here. There are some terrific bargains to be found, especially during the winter holiday season, and meandering around the outlets is a nice way to kill some time during the day rather than staying in the casinos all the time while there. They are easy to get to as it's right in the center of AC right down the street from the casinos. It's only a few minutes walk, or you can drive and there is a pay for parking lot close by. There are also a few places to eat and a Starbucks too. Funny, I sometimes feel like I lose more money here at the outlets than at the blackjack tables or slots! read more

This is not the best Tanger outlet there is, in terms of number of stores, but while you're in AC you might as well make a shopping trip out of it to fulfill the AC experience. The outlet is located on the next block west of the casinos sitting on the boardwalk. It's easily accessible from Bally's, Caesars and Trump Plaza and best of all you can park at those hotel parking lots and then just walk over to the outlet on the next block. The only caveat about parking at the casino lots is that you will be charged $5 or $10 depending on if you have a comp card with the casino. I recommend that you get a comp card from Caesars and then you will qualify for a $5 discount parking at the casino. Once you walk over to the outlet, I also recommend you don't venture too far away from it because outside of the boardwalk is a rather "sketchy" neighborhood so make sure you stay within the confines of the outlet. As for the stores, you will see a plethora of familiar brands in Nautica, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Reebok, Lacoste, Kenneth Cole, Calvin Klein, Coach, Michael Kors, Totes, etc. Honestly, it's a fantastic idea to have planted an outlet here and for those who don't gamble and just want to visit AC, it's a nice area to walk around in the Spring, Summer. read more

This is what I call "Wifey Day " a woman's paradise, is a man's sorrow , I am only kidding. Tanger Outlets offer something for the ladies and gents who are not into the whole sitting at a table or slot machine for hours on end. This is a place where you can visit 20 stores or more all in a block and call it a productive day. I was fortunate enough to accompany my wife for a brief hour as I couldn't take it anymore. She went from Coach, to Nike, to Express, Banana , and Nautica all with in an hour . I figured this is going by quick, this is good, Caesars I'll be right there to make a deposit . I was wrong in that whole going quick phase. She was scouting, distances between, and how long it would be, she hasn't begun to shop yet. I don't know how she does it, I was still impressed she didn't get hit by a car crossing over to the other stores. With my sighs of in and out , buy it lets go mentalities my love said I could be dismissed. This is why I love her, she knows of my patience with the whole staying in a store looking at an item for 20-30 min. Not buying it yet, only to look at a different item(same style and color) that serves the same purpose while going back and forth to the first item. (i.e. shoes or a purse, handbag) I am pretty sure if you are not able to find it in Pier Mall or the boardwalk this place will definitely have it.
