I thought I was lucky to find a Power House Gym. I wanted to train everyday while on vacation and show my son what a real gym looks like. On top of paying guest fees for two people for 4 days, I had intentions of buying him at least $300 of merchandise as well. It literally took me 30 minutes to drive from my Air BnB to that gym. The moron at the front desk took his sweet time having a personal conversation with someone and when he finally decided to pay me and my son any attention, he simply told me to scan the QR code and then kept on with his conversation. I don't know if he was one of the owners or not, but this type of customer service is just poor. I came with the intention of spending a lot of money in that business but after dealing with that I just refuse.

The gym is usually pretty clean and well kept. My only complaint is that it can get packed during busy times, but that's probably because a lot of people like it. At no point was I arguing--I was trying to have a respectful, adult conversation about her approach. Shouting at members and then refusing to engage in a professional discussion is not how a manager should handle situations. I go to the gym to work out, not to be confronted or spoken to disrespectfully. Management should be able to communicate calmly, treat members with respect, and address concerns professionally instead of making assumptions and escalating situations. Based on my experience, Raquel's conduct did not reflect the professionalism, respect, or leadership I expect from someone in a management position. Do be aware of her unprofessional behavior, so disrespectful. Personal problems shouldn't be brought into your workplace, specially upholding a "manager" title.

The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly, and members are respectful no matter what level you're at. Whether you're new to lifting or very experienced, you don't feel intimidated here. The equipment selection is top notch and clearly geared toward serious weight training. This isn't a big box gym filled with endless rows of cardio machines--you won't find aisles of treadmills--but there's more than enough cardio equipment to get the job done. What really sets it apart is the quality and variety of strength equipment you don't usually see elsewhere. The amenities are another big plus: clean showers, infrared sauna, and a cold plunge. Everything feels well thought out and maintained. You'll occasionally see trainers or influencers filming content, but it never feels awkward or disruptive. As a member, you don't feel like you need to avoid them, and they don't care if you happen to walk through a shot--no weird vibes or attitude about it. After being a member here, I honestly can't imagine going back to a big box gym. This place offers a much better experience all around.
