    I attended a wedding here and the venue is pretty small but they make the best of the space they have. The vows took place in the lobby area and the bride came down the semi-winding staircase which was a nice dramatic affect which gave us all enough time to work up some tears and soak a few tissues. Once the wedding was over, the guests relocated into the next room which is shaped like an L. The bar area was very small, very very small and the bartender kept carding us in the beginning. He wasn't very friendly either. The two coordinators Lisa and Lisa (I believe) did their very best to get everyone situated and organized. The food was catered out so no review on that part. There were only two workers handling the party, the one bartender and bar back/busser/coordinator guy. We had glasses on our tables that remained empty all night? There was only the one guy picking up the plates off the tables. One thing to note, the doors were extremely heavy. Trying to get in and out of the bathrooms took some muscle so be prepared to get either worked by it or hit by them.

    We had my daughters 1st birthday party here. We chose The Plaza at WR mainly because we wanted to bring our own food. We had a little more than 150 guests and the venue was perfect. It was easy to work with Brennon. On the day of the event there were 2 staff members, the bartender and event manager. They were both hospitable and hardworking. We even used some space in the parking lot for mechanical rides. We had a Photobooth, face painter, caricaturist, candy buffet, and DJ to name a few that we accommodated for space. Our guests only had GREAT compliments about the venue. There is a lot of parking and easily accessible from the freeway off 95. The drinks were well made. Overall, The Plaza at WR is an awesome venue to hold your event.

    Attended a good friend's wedding here, earlier this afternoon. The ceremony was held in the lobby, right past the front door. The reception was also hosted here, a few feet away. The ceremony layout included a few aisles of chairs facing a very elegant, winding staircase (which served as the wedding party "aisle"). The reception included about seven or eight tables with 10 people per table. Food was provided buffet-style in a room down the hall. In my opinion, TPAWH is a great place to have any type of intimate gathering - not just weddings on a budget but also small birthday or graduation parties. Parking is located directly in front of the building, and is ample as well as free (no validation required). All in all, I definitely recommend TPAWH as an event venue for locals and tourists alike.

She was organized, calm, and on top of every detail. She made the entire process feel easy and stress free. On the wedding day, everything ran smoothly because of her and DJ Syd. The photographer, whose name I sadly forget, perfectly captured our memories. The food was amazing (get the chicken piccata). Our guests are still talking about it. Every dish was fresh, well prepared, and full of flavor. The service was even better than we expected. The staff was attentive, kind, and truly cared about making our day special. Vendors were ALL picked and our international guests were given notice of the date to get tickets. Ashley called us the day AFTER my dad was in the hospital letting us know that the business "might" not be in business or it "might" not be an event center any longer. In an email later, Ashley informs us it's "Force Majeure" and that it would be impractical and impossible for the venue to host our wedding. After I spent about 15 minutes laughing at a non attorney explaining the law to the two of us (two attorneys)and that too incorrectly... I proceeded to freak out. This is bad business and we have been told they are looking to sell the business. I for one will be keeping an eye on this corporation and the officers involved. NO bride and groom should have to go through this while planning their wedding and the damage caused emotionally and financially is unforgivable. Get an ACTUAL attorney to do your work instead of a sales girl hired by daddy. Bad business practice that will follow them.

From the moment we sat down with David to discuss what we wanted, he was incredibly understanding of our budget and knew exactly how to make our day as beautiful as I imagined! Everything was beyond exceptional--our guests loved the venue and couldn't stop talking about how amazing everything and everyone was. I always have and will continue to recommend Factory of Dreams and/or Skyview Banquet Hall to anyone looking for a venue! That said, we did experience a few hiccups during the planning process. Communication with Chef Francisco G. wasn't the best--he wasn't timely in responding, which caused some stress. However, the food turned out good on the day of the event, though I was surprised and a bit disappointed that the kids were served Little Caesars pizza. As for Irma, who I was told was the event coordinator--she was very sweet and helpful in the beginning. But when it came time for the wedding rehearsal, I was told I had to find my own coordinator. This was frustrating because I had gone over all the event timing with her, so I assumed she would be the one handling it. If I needed to bring in someone else, I wish I had been told upfront--it would have saved some last-minute stress before my big day. And id also like to give a big thanks to the Bakery used Cakes Las Vegas so good with the flavors my husband does not like sweets but he did enjoy your cake. Despite these issues, I truly thank the entire team for their hard work and dedication. You all helped make our wedding a day to remember!

Irma met with my daughter and came up with a beautiful plan. The day of the wedding the Skyview team was a dream to work with. We didn't have to do anything other than enjoy the reception. We had a DJ, bartender (open and paid bar), wait staff and a lead point person for the night. We even had an amazing Photo Booth that takes photos and sends it to your phone. Everything was taken care of. The location, across from the airport was no issue at all, In fact you can't hear anything inside and our guests enjoyed watching the planes land. Everything looked so perfect. The colors were great!! The curtains that hung from the ceiling have lights all in them & when it gets dark inside & they turn them on it was soooooo pretty!! The guest of honor was able to arrive at the top of a staircase inside & walk down that stairs. There is also is a little room off to the side where they set up a photo booth. There was a young lady who was introducing the guest, her court & other guests. When the speaker announced it was time to eat & that she would call one table at a time I had NO idea where the buffet was. I thought it was going to be a long table of food but it was inside this little room. There were 2 servers & there was a little bit of a wait. It would of been nice if they supplied butter for the bread & plain spaghetti along with some black pepper. There was no salt & pepper shakers to be found. I was a little bummed not to see any seltzers or sliced lemons at the bar. Also it would of been nice to know it was a CASH ONLY BAR. I talked with my friend & she said she wasn't even aware it was cash only. That is something that the owners may want to tell their guest when they are looking to book this hall. I don't carry much cash on me & they were charging $10 for a Tito's. The girl also announced after they were done serving the food it would still be available for guests & just to let them know. I was actually hungry & could have gone for seconds but never saw anyone to ask. My friend arrived after the food was served with her 2 kids and no one came over to her. The staff was very, very slow to come pick up dirty dishes off the tables. I was not impressed by this. No one came to see if we needed our water pitches refilled. My empty drink cup sat on the table the whole night. I did like how they had a water bubbler next to the bar with cups to serve yourself water. It was pretty sad how the staff demolished the cake while cutting it. The pieces were all different sizes & just a hot mess at the end. See photo. They did a beautiful job on the setup & decorations but the staff definitely needs some improvement on taking care of the guests dirty dishes & checking on everyone. Due to this I'm giving this place a 4 star review.
